1. Agree!!!!
Sam ,   nz   (04.27.10)
This is just the same idea I left on JerusalemPost talkback. I believe if Israel unites and fight back Obama the muslim appeaser, the relation will deteriorate between the 2 countries. it will result in a political upheaval in USA. Obama might even get toppled down prior his term. As now even in USA the issue whether he has the right to be in the White house is being discussed by senate, courts and others. Obama up to now does not want to reveal his real birth certificate to show that he is a native born of USA to be entitled to be in the White House.
2. Mr. Fenenbock, President Obama wants Justice for Palestine
Jack. A   (04.27.10)
3. Palestinians would get Israeli citizen in Israel then?
Ann   (04.27.10)
4. Finally
frank ,   israel   (04.27.10)
someone who is brave enough to actually speak the truth. our leaders are afraid to act. obama hates jews and israel, of this there is no doubt, but the self-serving liberal jew is bound to destroy us. We MUST act and act now. But our government is more concerned with stuffing their pockets that protecting our country. obama must be ousted and the only way is to leverage our strengths with congress, senate and the voters. Give them the truth, do not allow obama lies to dominate and force us to give up our capital, our homeland and ultimately our lives. The situation IS desperate and unless and until we truly understand this we will be doomed. Time is running out and we MUST act now.
5. Wrong. You can't make him pay a price, but he can do that to
Peter ,   Vienna-Austria   (04.27.10)
israel and its activities. He has the power, the influence and trust me a lot of americans would enjoy seeing an end to the 3billion USD in aid israel receives. Might not be much for a country as big as the US,but still, think of all the other benefits that money has back home.
6. PRESIDENT PAY
DAVID ,   GHANA   (04.27.10)
Mr. Fenenbock, the question you should have asked yourself is that, who are you people to make the President pay a price. The problem is that you don't know your limit and you have been spoonfed for far to long. You simply hate the truth. shalom.
7. yes make him pay!
Rafi ,   Australia   (04.27.10)
I agree, make him pay, which elections are coming up in November, Obama just got in? thanks
8. As always Great Report.
Israeli 2   (04.27.10)
The problem is that it MUST be DECISIVE!!!
9. Register to vote
Susan ,   Kfar Saba   (04.27.10)
Every American citizen in Israel has to vote by absentee ballot come November. Now is the time to register. You can find the Board of Election Supervisors in your previous state of residence on the web.
10. wrong wrong wrong
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (04.27.10)
The basic premise of this article is wrong: Obama does not need to pay a price for hostility to Israel. He needs to pay a price for damaging American interests. His hostility to non-Arab countries including Israel has lead to Iranization of the Middle-East, so American oil supplies are in danger. His blind hatred for Israel means he increases arms sales to unstable Arab countries. When Saudi Arabia and Egypt are overthrown, all these weapons will be used against America. His blind hatred for Israel means America is losing its real allies: Lebanon has succumbed to Syrian occupation, Turkey has joined Syria and Iran, and Egypt is increasing its anti-Israel rhetoric. The inevitable Middle-Eastern war that Obama has incited may or may not lead to Israel's destruction, but it will not serve America.
11. Legality to be President questionable:CHALLENGE !
Roland Seener ,   London England   (04.27.10)
12. True!
Ram ,   London   (04.27.10)
The author makes a valid point and the argument about alternatives to a two state solution has been floating about for a long time. Creating a Palestinian state does not only have many political hurdles to overcome. How can you have a state that is divided in two? Or will you have Israel divided in two? Either option will be deemed ridiculous. Israel should immediately start a vociferous campaign and influence those it can secure support from to promote a more pragmatic solution. That solution has to be the return of Gaza to Egypt and the West Bank to Jordan. With regards to Jerusalem there is no argument. The Jordanians conquered it in 1948 and lost it back in 1967. Where is the problem? Whatever Israel's actions are or will be, the chances are the arabs will remain unplacable enemies. A liberal left leaning ideology, if applied to the resolution of Israel's problem, can only lead to an existential threat. As far as Obama is concerned, if for the time being he succeeds in steering the US administration to a camp hostile to Israel than Israel can temporarily treat the US as one would a traitor. I may shock many by saying this but I think if Israel stopped co-operating with the US in critical fields and shows it is looking for different allies it may just drive home the message. This is just the opinion of an ordinary citizen who cares a lot about the future of the jewish state. :-)
13. Amen and Amen!
The 11th Man ,   London   (04.27.10)
14. another propaganda article
brett ,   TA   (04.27.10)
Mr Fenenbock is distorting the reality aiming to let the fear grow stronger in the israeli opinion, as many of his colleagues lately. All the democratic world powers can't stand anymore to let Israel live around hostile forces in the ME, creating more tensions on the whole planet. Something has to be done for years, President Obama is pushing in that way, for the sake of israeli citizens, and in extension, the rest of the "free world". The consequences of the status quo imposed in the ME by Israel is no longer bearable. Israel has to understand that settle peace IS the condition to survive.
15. Decisions driven by fear
Yakov ,   Tel Aviv   (04.27.10)
Your assertions are nothing more than fear mongering. Your "plans" for the future of our children produce nothing more than continued conflict. Enacted, they result in nothing more productive than winning a battle, and losing the war. You assume all Palestinians are evil, and subjugation is the only path to security. You fail to even acknowledge that history defines that peace will never exist by occupation. These are humans, and deserve dignity. Further, you also fail to admit that radicalism can never be erased, and that subjugation only serves to attract more radicals. Allowing dignity, stability and freedom to the Palestinians will result in the radicals standing alone. Go back to the USA, instill your fears there, and stay away from Israel.
16. OK with #10
Yossef ,   Rehovot, Israel   (04.27.10)
We need perhaps to think out of the box for a real solution for arabs and jews to live independently and in peace between the Jordan and the Mediterranean sea, cantons system ? Jordanian authority ? A very small palestinian state near a not much bigger Israeli state looks like a joke. But people living here and there are not a joke. So ?
17. Rational Alternative
Moshe Rosten ,   Ariel, Israel   (04.27.10)
Yes, really? Who can tell me of a rational alternative to the two state solution. We're living in a world where the democratic rights of every human being to determine his or her government is the only way forward right? A one state solution means either an Arab majority or at least 50/50. The large majority of Arabs and Jews will not accept this situation. If there is an Arab majority don't be surprised if this country goes down the tubes in a way consistent with countries of religious extremists. I don't on principle reject the idea of an Arab majority, just as long as everyone is given their freedom of religion, and religion is kept separate from the state, in a way that guarantees the future security of all its citizens. This is simply not possible now.
18. Thankyou #10 A valid point, nicely put.
The 11th Man ,   London   (04.27.10)
Obama is not only the most anti-American President in history but his incumbency is all-but-proven to be illegal. And you are spot-on in saying that his foreign policies are doing irreparable damage to his own country. The former Allies of America will probably survive (Israel definitely will) but will America? Over 200 years of history trashed.
19. Rubbish
Faraz ,   Meldreth, UK   (04.27.10)
What a load of utter nonsense and right-wing tripe. The president is trying to find a peaceful solution to an ongoing bloodbath and this man is making it out to be a neo-fascist tirade against Jews. I have never heard such one-side garbage before. This man should try and remove his head from his own backside and look at the real world.
20. STOP SHARING INTELLIGENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Obama = muslim enemy   (04.27.10)
21. What are you talking about?
Marc Goldberg ,   tel aviv israel   (04.27.10)
I read the first few lines of this article expecting to hear you outline your concept of a one state solution but instead all you did was attack Obama Why did you do this? Why didn't you just say what you think there should be in the Holy Land? Your diatribe has simply convinced me of the fact that the right has no argument and in all seriousness I was not convinced of this before reading your piece.
22. OOOOObama
mark ,   canada   (04.27.10)
Well, if you are not American, you did not vote for Obama. A majority of Americans vote for him, so he is the US President. The communists, liberals, etc didn't vote for Bush. Strange it is then, how did Bush get to be President? I know, he was appointed by his parents or some such organization to the Presidency. I will say, that kicking and screaming, some good has come out of the banking failure, but I would say that much more has to be done to remedy the American Banking "free-for-all" system. Obama has said he would do it. He is going to have to do it. Pigs squeal loudest, when pulled from the trough. The Health care system needs reform, and it appears that he has done something, at a huge cost, but it needed to be done. Again, the squealing of pigs at the trough can be heard as they are sorted out. Now, as to Israel, I don't know. The Arabs will never bend in their quest to control what they do not have. I can see another war coming, soon, as plain as day. Bibi is a far better boss than what you people realize. Obama is not right on everything, and Hilary is a trouble making bag. Obama will have to be watched. He is neither your President, nor mine. "Hammer the Jews" is not a policy here. That is a bit paranoid! You cannot expect that Israel is a daily priority to North Americans. You have to solve your own problems, in a way that does not cause wars---then it becomes our priority. Right--so take up the challenge, Israel.
23. Self reliance?
Robin ,   US   (04.27.10)
How about Israel standing on her own 2 feet? As long as you suck the US teat you're going to have to deal with an US Prez putting in his 2 cents in your business.
24. Mr. Fenenbock's "Make the president pay" article
J.L. ,   Columbus, OH   (04.27.10)
Mr. Fenenbock, you are correct in all you say! Stand firm -- there ARE many Americans standing with you. Barack Hussein Obama does NOT speak for us. We believe in, love and support Israel, including PM Netanyahu. Yes -- keep bringing us the truth about Israel, and we will keep telling it in any way we can! We do not believe what the elitist media and politicians here say. Liberal Jews who are "friends" of Obama sadden us. I am an American Gentile Bible believer, I consider myself a Zionist, I believe Jerusalem is and should always be Israel's undivided capital, that Israel has a right to defend itself, and I vote! Shalom!
25. :: Fenenbock is all mouth and no action
Matty Groves ,   Fairport   (04.27.10)
Anyone remember back in late 2009 Fenenbock calling for “Reinfeldt and Bildt pay a political price in Sweden” because Reinfeldt was “hammering the Jews”? Anyone remember that: “September 19, 2010, that’s the target. Send the best political campaign professionals in the world into Sweden’s national elections. Make Reinfeldt and Bildt pay a price.”? Well Fenenbock has done *nothing* about making “Reinfeldt and Bildt pay a price”. In fact looking at the polls in Sweden it seems that “Reinfeldt and Bildt” are doing quite nicely: “Asked who would best lead the government work after the next general elections on September 19th, 55 percent of respondents picked Reinfeldt over Sahlin, who garnered 26 percent support, while 64 percent picked him over Wetterstrand, who received 19 percent backing.” (Source: Synovate poll) Now Fenenbock calling for “Obama pay a political price in America” because Obama is “hammering the Jews”. In effect Fenenbock is rehashing his failed ‘plan of action’ for ‘regime change in Sweden’ and I look forward to watching this fizzle out to a forgotten memory within 24 hours Based on Fenenbock’s track record to talk about causing ‘Real damage. Political damage. The kind they pay attention to’ can only be described as ‘silly’.
26. Zionist Enterprise
Andre Pires ,   Joinville/Brazil   (04.27.10)
I'm actually ignorant regarding to this matter: "Zionist Enterprise". What does that really mean? A state from Mediterranean sea to Jordan River? If Israel should be just 1 state, How would Jews and Arabs live together? Like an apartheid government where the Jews would have free will and the arabs would have no vote power or a trully democratic country? How would it be 1 land for 1 people or 1 land for 2 people living among each other with the same rights?
27. I am in favor of a two-state solution
Aryeh ,   NY / USA   (04.27.10)
That is Israel and Trans-Jordan. All Arabs living west of the Jordan River should have been sent to Trans-Jordan to live in Arab Palestine in 1949 and 1967. The only solution that is possible is to end the occupation by buying all Arab lands and rights and offering them the country of their choice, any place other than the small sliver of land between the Med. and the Jordan River.
28. "Punish the President of the US
Nick Himaras ,   Albuquerque NM   (04.27.10)
You should be ashamed of youself, friend!! From a US Citizen, who supports (and gladly funds) Israel. שָׁלוֹם
29. Tea party Republicans
peter ,   amsterdam NL   (04.27.10)
Michael Fenenbock's world view is right wing conservative. He will have appreciated Pres. George W. Bush jr. & neocon's(among them Jewish republicans) policies much better than Obama's. But things have changed, (Jewish) Americans voted overwhelmingly for the Democrats, for action in the economy, healthcare and diplomatic initiatives in the broader Middle East. To draw down the US army from Central Asia. To put pressure on Israel as Eisenhower did in 1956, Johnson in 1967, Carter in 1973 and George Bush sr. & James Baker did in 1992. American elections for Congress are for American people, not for foreign lobbyists. The right wing/religious Israëli cabinet under Netanyahu should be pressured by the US like Begin & Sharon were. It produced results and progress towards a more secure Israël next to an independent Palestine. Nothing to do with 'hammering', just facing facts-even on the ground :-).
30. I agree, being feared is better than being LOVED
KANAANI ,   KANAAN   (04.27.10)
BUT: Does that mean Libirals (more than 50%) of Americans are Israel enemy? AND: Remember, Repuplican President suggested two state solution, not Democrat?!!!!!!! I think writer wrote what in his mind without even think about it. It came right from heatfull heart.
