Only gays and strays support me and approve of my political leanings. ...p.s. Does my bum look big in this pantsuit?

# 11, First let me say that being arrested for kissing your partner in public (whether you are homosexual or not) is wrong. If that happened, and I am not saying that it didn't, then we do need to do some serious review of our laws. (is this even illegal here?WTF?) #11 & 25 I have many friends who happen to be gay (I grew up around SF) so please take what I am about to say as friendly advice. You are fighting your battles in the wrong way, the Gay community, worldwide has a tendency to do one of two things. 1) hide away in the closet...thus the saying or 2) Proudly and unfortunately many time offensively shove there homosexuality in the face of society. Both tactics are wrong (IMHO). Stop trying to force your differences to the forefront and many people will accept you as you are. just remember the herteros that try to force there "sexuality" to the forefront (read overly Macho) are usually seen in a negative light also :) Good luck - fight smart

Of course you would be embarrased I would too , not for your reason and I am gay. When I walk down a Tel Aviv street on a normal day I don't thing I would find a gay man walking in his Y fronts or thong so I don't understand when it comes to gay pride that he has to walk down Tel Aviv ready for bed. Believe you me if he walked with his jeans and a tee shirt holding a sign saying I am gay he would get much more respect from the general public.
