I know Jews are not as numerous as Chinese, but they travel a lot. Already a month ago I had decided not to visit Turkey, but to go to Italy instead. I hope other Jews do the same and Turkey will notice the difference. It would be difficult to boycott Turkish products since there are none to be found in the States.

Iinstead of calling for an end to the Gaza blockade & condemning Israel for the deaths of 9 people because the soldiers acted in self defense why doesn't Turkey start asking itself a few hard questions. When will they end the illegal occupation of the independent state of Cyprus. When they invaded this state they made nearly a quarter of the population into refugees and now thousands of homes stand empty because of Turkeys occupation. Alot worse than any blockade of Gaza. In 2008 Turkey invaded the Kurdish areas of Iraq and has since killed hundreds of them. Between the 1991 Gulf War - the overthrow of Saddam the Kurdish areas were a no fly zone to protect them from Saddam. Since 2008 Turkish jets have bombed these areas & there are tanks there. All this goes on with the blessings of Obama, the EU and all the other countries currently condemning Israel for the deaths if 9 people. Its this NATO member who wants to join the EU who is the real aggressor in the region.

Israel is a loyal customer who pays top dollar for their water and gas. Fortunately Israel will no longer need Turkish gas as Israel will be a net energy exporter starting in 2012. Also Israel is working on water deals with other nations. Water is a very transportable resource and in this economy countries will be lining up to sell it to them.

Marco, the international community that is so vocal in condemning Israel is immoral. The UN is a corrupt organization. Israel has been selectively chosen for condemnation by condemnation from those who participated in the murder of six million Jews. Most of the liberal media will not even report when Israelis are attacked. Did you see any mention of the recent rocket attacks in your newspaper? No, I thought not.
