61. U.S. Jews' sense of security is delusional.
Chaim ,   Israel   (06.10.10)
Most French Jews would have laughed, about 20 years ago, if you told them they were in danger. Today, of course, they are not laughing. Many have left France and most of those, who remain, want to leave. France is dangerous for Jews and growing more so every day. Yet the same tide is sweeping America . There is no shortage of Jew haters in America and they are being joined by an ever growing population of hostile Moslems. U.S. Jews' sense of security is delusional. They should make plans to come home and soon.
62. #18 I disagree
observer   (06.10.10)
the rabbi and American Evangelical Christians are the one ought to make Aliyah before the Khazaric nature of the Ashkenazi Jews become wide-spread knowledge amongst American Protestants as they would recognize that the Zionists are not descendants of Abraham, and are therefore not covered by the promise in Genesis 12:1-2. Israel is better off with Diaspora off Palestine to not only extort their money, but also to fulfill the prophecy of Izaak Greenbaum; "One Cow in Palestine is worth more than all the Jews in Poland".
63. MOUNT ST. HELEN THOMAS
steve ,   Israel   (06.10.10)
Judging by all the misinformation in the media and prejudiced reporting, exactly where is the Helen Thomas School of Journalism located?
64. persian cat zionism is one of the best realisation of the 19
dovdevan ,   ashdod,israel   (06.10.10)
after more than 3500 jews have managed to come back in their homeland and build a state where noone can decide for the future of their cytizen other than jews where we live as a majority ! we can recount the long history of the persecution of the jewish people troughout the centuries where we lived under the threat of different kind of hitlers ! the last achievment of the zionist realisation should be the reparation of the palestinian tragedy by building a peaceful palestinian state if islam accept the presence of the jews in what they consider an islamic land !!

Ben C. Slocum ,   Tuscon, AZ   (06.10.10)
Helen Thomas is of course, right. As far as this feeling sorry for this Rabbi, he's a publicity hound and made his own bed.

Chri Linthwaite   (06.10.10)
I didn't call her a hero neither did I condone her views. All I said was that the Rabbi could make Aliyha to Israel if he wished. Which by posting the video on Youtube I though he was supporting. But as per usual I get jumped on by Zionists who cannot bear anyone from having a differing view.

Chris Linthwaite   (06.10.10)
But he was an American citizen? And how many Israeli dual nationals carry a passport of another country merely for convenience? I have no objection to people doing so, but surely it is disingenuous to point that out regardless of whether you agree or not with a 19 year old kid. Because i bet you could be pretty hot headed when you were 19.
68. Don't mistake these threats ...
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.10.10)
for anything but what they are. They are not being made by normal, reasonable Americans. They are being made by Moslem and Arab minorities in the United States, and perhaps the odd skinhead group or two. Are they being made by sophisticated, erudite and educated Americans? Most assuredly not. Sophisticated, erudite and educated Americans do not threaten peoples' lives. On the other hands, threats to peoples' lives are rather pro forma in the Islamofascist world. Skinhead world as well. Just ask Salman Rushdie. Or the shadow of Alan Berg, z.l. Ignorance, belligerence and violence is their lingua franca. You need look no further than the Arab, Islamofascist and skinhead communities throughout the world. How sad.
69. Linthwaite (#66). As usual, you LIE!!!
flyingdoc57 ,   Florida, U.S.A.   (06.11.10)
"All I said was that the Rabbi could make Aliyha to Israel if he wished." [Linthwaite] You said NO SUCH THING! What you ACTUALLY said was "I suggest the Rabbi makes Aliyah to Israel". BIG difference, Linthwaite, and you know it. Stop preaching to Jews. Your reputation as an anti-semite is well-established by the thousands of cynical, critical and condascending remarks on Haaretz talkback. I suggest you keep to that forum, where your anti-semitism is welcomed.
70. #62 - there's just been a new genetic study...
Dina - Tel Aviv   (06.11.10)
...that throws your argument to the trash can, where it belongs. yours, a "khazari zionist".
71. #68 - Sarah B. The threats weren't made by Muslims
lara ,   Australia   (06.11.10)
Below is the link to the hate mail and death threats received by the Rabbi. These were received by email, so you can see who they're from. Tell me which one of the names looks muslim because not 1 of them looks muslim to me. http://rabbilive.com/RabbiLIVE/Home.html

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.11.10)
Honey bunny, you need to get yourself a new set of links. But -- that said -- does who issues death threats matter more than the fact that death threats have been issued? Lara -- I don't care which names are "Muslim." I am remembering with extraordinay clarity the day that Moslem activists decided that bikinis on Bondi Beach just "offended" them beyond all reason. They "rioted," didn;t they, darling? Yes. They did. I was there. If those Moslems are whom you choose to wed yourselves too, go ahead. Good luck. Oz will need it. Lara -- my suggestion to you is that you get a GED just as soon as you possibly can, if you plan to blog on this website. Unless, of course, you like being chewed up and spit out.
76. To: No. 71
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.11.10)
Are you sure? Can you prove it? How? I don't have to prove ANYTHING to you. Are you familiar with Moslem names? Including those that may come from the Balkans and other parts of Europe? Right. Didn't think so. Look at the grand picture. Moslem threats of extreme violence against Jews because Moslems don't necessarily like the truth. Hey, nothing new in this old world. Have a really nice and (hopefully) enlightened day, Lara.

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.11.10)
I guess one could say that Helen Thomas made her own bed as well. Wouldn't you agree, sir? The most venerated woman journalist in all of the United States opens her mouth and turns herself into a bigoted laughingstock. Sweet. No big Washington DC parties celebrating HER retirement. She'll take a Union Station yellow cab, and a train to Kentucky. What a fitting end for an unrepentant Jew and Israel hater. The guardian of Israel neither sleeps nor slumbers. Get used to the idea. Israel is here to stay. Whether you like it or not.
78. Sarah #75 - Cronulla Riots happened in Cronulla. Not Bondi.
lara ,   Australia   (06.11.10)
"get yourself a new set of links" The link was to the Rabbi Live website which was responsible for the Interview with Helen Thomas. http://rabbilive.com/RabbiLIVE/Home.html , would you prefer links to AlJazera instead? As for the Cronulla Riots, which happened an hours drive away from "Bondi", they began when a middle eastern man was spotted and attacked by a crowd of people protesting violence. It had nothing to do with bekinis. News flash, muslims wear bekinis. The riots were between the Anglo and Lebanese community, (Over 50% of Lebanese in Australia are Christian).... but i guess you know that because you were there... Next time, try to make your lies a little more realistic. Or at least get the name of the suburb right, especially if you're going to say you were there.

Scared of what I get published after it is cleared by moderators? Actually Haaretz have a very interesting article where this Rabbi said he was supporting making Aliyah to Israel. The whole point of the video apparently. Actually there is not a big difference between what I said., and you certainly cannot spin it as anti semitism, so again you resort to personal insults. All you are is a bully, but even worse than that you are a bully who actually has nothing to say. As you sip your margarita on the balcony of your condo preaching war which you do quiet regularly on Haaretz, and which you didn't like me poiting out that you are as about as far away from Israel as you could possibly be which sort of makes your zionism funny.
81. #69 Flyingdoc
Chris Linthwaite   (06.11.10)
All of which have been moderated and passed foor publication. Which means you are just jealous that my point of view is allowed because it differs from your own. And the vitriol aimed at me maybe due to the fact that i pointed out on more than one occasion that as a committed zionist committed to the cause you live in Florida.
82. my paper on rabbi advocating carpet bombing Gaza
observer   (06.11.10)
Eliyahu ruled that there was absolutely no moral prohibition against the indiscriminate killing of civilians during a potential massive military offensive on Gaza aimed at stopping the rocket launchings. According to Jewish war ethics, wrote Eliyahu, an entire city holds collective responsibility for the immoral behavior of individuals. In Gaza, the entire populace is responsible because they do nothing to stop the firing of Kassam rockets. The former chief rabbi also said it was forbidden to risk the lives of Jews in Sderot or the lives of IDF soldiers for fear of injuring or killing Palestinian noncombatants living in Gaza. were those the revelations to Rabbi Eliyahu?

He was keeping a diary that has been published in Turkish media. His first comments about participating the trip were like a suicide message saying that he might never see his family again. This alone indicates that he know he was not going to a peaceful mission. He very well knew he was going to a holy war or Jihad as he preferred to say.
