31. To the people of Finland
Standing Tall ,   USA   (06.11.10)
Thank you for your support from all the Jewish people that support Israel and their right to exist. You are brave and courageous. Peace be with you.
32. Thanks To All of the Supporters of Israel
Douglas Fireman ,   Niles USA   (06.11.10)
Kol ha Kavod, Shalom, and Thank you to the Israeli supporters in Finland! Those folks who continue to believe the unfair, biased news media are being duped into believing that Israel was responsible for the deaths of pro Palestinian activists on the Mavi Marmara. Turkey and their terrorist supporters were responsible. The Israel defense forces have the right to defend themselves against every terrorist who place the lives of the IDF or any citizen of Israel in danger. Thanks again to all those who are finally realizing how deceitful Erdogan of Turkey and his terrorist allies truly are.
33. the Finns have not changed. THANK GOD
Golan ,   Modiin   (06.11.10)
The Finns threatened to use the Finnish army to protect Finland's Jews. Today their grandchildren march in support of Jews to defend themselves. Viva Suomi!
34. Finland is (still) free from Islam
David ,   Norway   (06.11.10)
Finland is stil almost free of Muslim immigraton, so there people can still freely support Israel. In Norway pro-Israel demonstrations are often attacked by a vicious Muslim mob!
35. I will go to Finland for vacations ;)
Xavi ,   France   (06.11.10)
Yes, their support is very heart-warming and also, to see people caring about justice and thinking rationally after analyzing the facts is a good thing in Europe nowadays. I have promised myself to go there for vacations even if I always wanted to visit Finland for the beauty of its nature and the quality of life they enjoy as well as their warm reputation and atmoshere they have in France! Anyway, I have friends who wanted to visit Turkey, I have convinced them to reconsider. It made 3 people less for Turkey haha
36. Finland forever, sweden sucks!!!
david ,   uk   (06.11.10)
37. Are We Ashamed of ourselves?
Andi ,   Israel   (06.11.10)
This is bigger than any pro-Israel, anti-terror rally we've had here. The Lefties were the only ones to get organised, having a rally at the same time as our enemies, even if they claimed it was pro-peace and not anti-Israel.. But that isn't how it looked abroad-another PR disaster for us. We ought to be ashamed of ourslves. Well done Finland.
38. thanks for your support
MICHAEL ,   israel   (06.11.10)
hope other countries will come to support us cause the moslims are taking over europe slowly
39. Thank you

Jouni Suonsivu ,   Finland   (06.11.10)
with my wife and a friend of ours. If you find something positive in these times when the world is once more again screaming against Israel it is that we, who love, understand and support Israel find each other. Old contacts become refreshened and you make new contacts. This, in turn easifies future hasbara work in this land. And, we were, in addition, aware that our example may encourage others somewhere else to show their support for Israel as well in mass form. By the way, the small sign with the Finnish text "terrorismin tukijat tilille" means: supporters of terrorism to be held accountable".
42. thank you for standing by our side
Assaf ,   Israel   (06.11.10)
and for spreading love, up against all the hate we have seen in the past couple of weeks you gained my respect, and gave me hope. salut for a better world, people and reality.

46. Thakns!!!!
shirley ,   Israel   (06.11.10)
Good to know :)
47. Most appreciated. Most recently all
Robert Haymond ,   Israel/Canada   (06.11.10)
we've read and heard about is the demonization of Israel. Incidentally, Geert Wilders' political party's vote total climbed significantly in the just completed national election in The Netherlands and the party itself came in a clear third place. This, too, is telling. Given the recent rules against the burka in France and against the minaret in Switzerland, I think we are beginning to view a wholesale change (coming) with respect to western European countries vis a vis their Muslim immigrants.
48. Thank you Finland
Nicole ,   Usa   (06.11.10)
I am grateful that people of Finland supported Israel and that certain churches are encouraging their members to see injustice done to Israel in media and by Arab enemies. This was refreshing to see. Thank you.

55. ridiculous
taliah ,   israel   (06.11.10)
Don't be ridiculous! Finland is one of the least anti-semitic countries out there! They support Israel. The swastikas as is well known is in fact a Buddhist symbol co-opted by the Nazis, and the Finnish symbol came BEFORE them-as it says on a Finnish website: The Swastika Emblem of the Finnish AF 1918-45 It is important to understand that the swastika emblem of the early Finnish Air Force has nothing to do with the Nazi Germany. The swastika was the symbol of good fortune used by the Swedish Count Eric von Rosen who during the Finnish Civil War presented to the Finnish White Army its first aircraft on March 6th, 1918. The swastika was painted on the upper side and under side of the wings of the Thulin Parasol he brought from Sweden. The symbol was adopted by the Finnish Air Force to honor him. Please don't be so simple-minded!!
