For what it's worth, the only other European to which Finnish is realted is Hungarian, not Turkish. As to Finnland always being on the right (moral) side, out of hatred and fear of Russia, the country threw its stock in with the Germans during WWII. Not exactly savoury no matter what the reasons.

That's why Finland kept encouraging Turkey-Cyprus talk on the condition that Turkey recognizes Cyprus because Finland sees Turkey's recognition as impossible to achieve. What will happen if Turkey lets Greek Cypriot ships and planes load and unload cargo in Turkish ports and airports. Israel is the only bad guy who would do the dirty job of preventing that approach between Turkey and Cyprus.

Many of us Finns think that the European media is biased and that's why we wanted to organize this march. MOST IMPORTANT: we were two thousand in the march. The pro-flotilla march last week had only 900 people.
