91. To No. 58, Janice
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (06.20.10)
Thank's a lot Janice, but as I am not even a soccer fan, I was not aware of the complicated and problematic situation in Dutch soccer. I only took the World Cup as an opportunity for a funny argument. The whole of Europe is like a mine field and one has to be extremely carefull, not to make the wrong step. The biggest problem here is, not to applaud too fast to people who are against Islamic immigration, because like in the case of Austria, men like the late Haider and his successor Strache are fanatic Antisemites as well. Geert Wilders seems to me a man of integrity, until now... I only disagree with him on his argument, that Jerusalem lies in the forefront of Athens and Rome. I don't give a dime for Athens and Rome, for me it's Jerusalem that counts...

Nahum 2:2 ,   West Coast, USA   (06.20.10)
If said anti-Semites - most of them ethnic nationalists/traditionalists - see eye to eye with us when it comes to Israel and Zionism, I see no problem with an alliance. We Jews have to start thinking outside the box. As long as we have common objectives, it's all good. However, if they want to be best buddies with Arabs/Muslims, screw them.
93. 87 , AK . Probably that Dutch Jews are smart
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (06.20.10)
Wilders a good friend ? with some words , yes . But wait ....And Obama is at the White House , Wilders is NOWHERE , not even in the Dutch governement .
94. About Geert Wilders
Mariette vd Meer ,   Netherlands   (06.20.10)
Many people in Holland are in shock because of the followers of this man. The political issues we have at this moment in our country is all blamed on the islamic people. He forgets easy enough our colonial history. Our country don't have any resources is just an harbour for the rest of Europe. We are rich because of the slavery in the past and nowadays. I hope Israel knows there ar more people in Holland with brains who does not follow GW http://www.facebook.com/#!/group.php?gid=120636547978249
95. Jens # 90 . How right you are !
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (06.20.10)
But here , most of the people don't know about who and what they talk . They see only Wilder's anti muslim face , but not the rest . As i wrote : enemies of our enemies are not necessary , nor always , our friends !
96. #36
James ,   Wythenshawe, UK   (06.20.10)
He won't be worse than erdogan, i promise.
97. Jens #90 and Charles #95
Roberto Traba ,   Breda, Netherlands   (06.20.10)
Good to see that not all the crowds are falling into the amoc of Wilders' nationalistc hate speech. I thought that after all suffer from European nationalists Jews would be much more cautious. I'd like to recall you that NSB, another Dutch Nationalistic movement from the past century initially was also quite fond of Jews. But in the end they changed their minds quite easily and were opressing Jews in Holland as any other Nationalistic European movement. Keep that in mind once you speek out your support for this racist. The fact that he uses Jews to get rid of Muslims from Holland does not guarantee that he and his supportes will not move their target to you once they will find a final solution of the muslim problem in Europe.
98. Wilders for President
Froike ,   Brooklyn, NY   (06.20.10)
Forget the Netherlands, we need Wilders for President of the US and Israel. We must protect him...there is a Fatwah on his head for sure. Baruch Hashem...some people are not afraid of telling the truth!
99. To AK (# 86 & 87). I agree with almost everything you stated
flyingdoc57 ,   Florida, U.S.A.   (06.20.10)
My reference to the days of Golda Meir and Moshe Dayan was not to impy that Wilders wouldn't have been better. Clearly, he would have. I was merely suggesting that if Wilders were Israeli PM today, it would not be long before the world would regain the 'respect' for Israel that it had back in the 1960's and 1970's. Whle the world always hated Israel (i.e. Jews), and always will, it, at least, used to respect us for standing up to our enemies. Unfortunately, those days are long gone, and I don't see them coming back prior to W.W.III. As to your comment about "80% of Jews voted Obama", you seem smart enough to understand the deceptive nature of such comments which are being repeated endlessly. Jews, by and large, do not vote for individual candidates. They vote for for the DEMOCRAT. They couldn't care less who the candidate is. They would have certainly voted for McCain or anyone else, so long as he/she was running of the DEMOCRATIC ticket. So, in truth, Jews didn't "vote for Obama". Obama just happened to have been the one running on the DEMOCRATIC ticket. American Jews will do it again in November, and again in 2012. Of this, there should be no doubt. In that regard, and that regard alone, it is fortunate that Jews make up too small a number for our vote to decide an election. Jews are socialists. Many Jews supported the rise of Hitler in the 1930's, not because they liked "Hitler" but because he was a SOCIALIST. It's called LIBERALISM, and it is an incurable, frequently fatal, mental disorder. I consider myself fortunate to be a Jew who is not afflicted with the disease. Most of my extended family, most of whom are holocaust survivors and their descendants, are 'infected' with the disease. They would willingly march into the gas chambers again today, rather than to vote for any candidate who didn't have a "D" after his/her name.
100. SPREAD THE WORD: Jordan IS Palestine. 78% of the land, most
Jae ,   Lynn US   (06.20.10)
of its population too. 1+1=2 Its that simple. No transfer of population, just a nationalism based in history, land, population and pragmatism, to end the 2 state conundrum
101. Roberto , in Breda
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (06.20.10)
It's because i lived for most of my life in Western Europe that i'm aware about those right wing parties .
102. Are you an international activist?
Pieter ,   The Netherlands   (06.20.10)
Hello Anton, I wonder what a Dutchman like you is doing in Istanbul? (Anton is a genuine Dutch name isn’t it?) Let me guess, you are one of those international activist waiting to board the next flotilla to help 'heroically' break the blockade of Gaza? Let me tell you one thing friend, Geert Wilders is one of the few politicians in northwest Europe who dare’s to backup the state of Israel unconditionally. He is also one of the only politician in holland which is under 24 hour protection because of dead treats from moslim and leftwing fundamentalists.
103. Jews were treated badly in Arab lands
Adeni Jewish Refugee   (06.20.10)
I am a Jew from Aden.I can confirm that the Arabs in Aden made our life very difficult,We were not safe and thanks G D we managed to get out of Aden in June 1967 with the helip of the British Jews and the British Government. All our properties were taken by the Adeni Government They have burnt and looted all our businesses. No Compensation until now
104. Lets save all the fuss... and put the zios back where they b
RJBH ,   Methil   (06.20.10)
belong... the fire Zionism is an Ideology which has nothing to do with religon.
105. Geert is Brilliant
Joshua Lipana ,   Manila, Philippines   (06.20.10)
"If Jerusalem falls into the hands of the Muslims, Athens and Rome will be next. Thus, Jerusalem is the main front protecting the West. It is not a conflict over territory but rather an ideological battle, between the mentality of the liberated West and the ideology of Islamic barbarism," I hope Geert Wilders becomes prime minister. The world needs leaders like him.
106. to all those who 'like this guy....'
ephraim ,   haifa   (06.20.10)
i totally don't. the palestinians live here. they are not animals. no one has the right to prefer our "right" to this area to the rights earned by the palestinians by living here.
107. @94 your silly facebook page
Pieter ,   The Netherlands   (06.20.10)
Girl, I think that you should not brag about your intellect because you are making a fool out of yourself with a facebook page like “We apologize for the 1,5 million Dutch people that voted for Geert Wilders” The people who voted for Geert Wilders are not the people who demonise, intimidate, threaten (and some even kill) in contrary to a substantial number of leftwing and moslim voters. Please show me a facebook page where socialist/left wing voters apologise for the murder of the Dutch politician Pim Fortuyn. Please show me a facebook page where muslims apologise for the atrocities committed in NY, London, Madrid, Bali, Beslan, Mumbai, etc. You comment reminds me of a scene out of the movie ‘Forrest Gump’, where the mother of his best friend, asks to Forrest: are you crazy, or just plain stupid?
108. Belgium is not Holland
Guido Joris ,   Brussels   (06.20.10)
The right wing VB is not a Dutch party and lost the elections here in Beglium in june. They have abdolute no influence and nobody takes them seriuosly. So a look at a good map may help you Shalom
109. to 102
anton ,   istanbul turkey   (06.20.10)
hello pieter first of of all I am not your friend second I am turkish Not dutch with these out of the way lets get to the point your beloved right wing racist politician is provoking all muslims the man is maniac thats why he is under protection. Its obvious your support for this guys based on the support you need from outside of israel let me ask you qestion once he accomplishes his duty and throw every terrorist MUSLİM out of europe who do you think will be next can it be jews? I wonder what will you write here if tomorrow muhammed khaddafi said he accully likes israel?
110. #93, Not a chance.
AK   (06.20.10)
111. Charles Wilders openly supports Israel
AK   (06.20.10)
Who else in Europe does? Liberals? No, Liberals march against israel, denouce Israel, organize boycotts and support Hamas and their utterly fake 'humanitarien' calls.
112. flyingdoc57
AK   (06.21.10)
lI firmly believe in voting for individuals and not a party Accordingly, I usually vote for people I like;: sometimes from one party and other time from an opposition party. You simply confirm that only somewhere 20- 30% Jews are independent thinkers; the rest are voting mindlessly for the left out of habit.
113. Jordan (trans-jordan) is palestine
allan ,   san antonio USA   (06.21.10)
About time someone was again noticing that Jordan was created for the palestinians.
114. Too far Geert, too far
Marjolein ,   Tilburg, Netherlands   (06.21.10)
As a Dutch, I am thoroughly ashamed to be associated with this kind of political trash. Geert Wilders is a dangerous politician, divinding our societies, offending people on religious grounds and making himself oh-so-popular in Israel with these kinds of ideas. This goes way too far. And don't get your hopes up anyone, he will never be prime minister of the Netherlands, thank God that there are at least still 13 million sensible people who did NOT vote for this idiot.
115. @ Pieter, 102
Marjolein ,   Tilburg, Netherlands   (06.21.10)
Pieter, do not speak on behalf of all Dutch people please... Only on behalf of Henk and Ingrid... Besides that, what is wrong with activism? Injustice should never be tolerated.
116. Don't be Blinded by this man!!!!!!!!!
Johan ,   Haifa   (06.21.10)
75% of the Dutch do NOT like this extremist! although they are far from loving the Muslems. He is seen by many in Holland as the next Hi--r and therefor he is rejected by the dutch poeple. Despite his talks about Israel, he sees us as that kid that puts his finger in the dam to save the dutch christians, not as Israels lover, moreover, do WE need HIM to tell us about the middle east and its poeple's status? it is not in benefit for us here in Israel that some one pees from the diving board! it may look great but it will turn against us later. Stay away from this guy.
117. wilder
kathy taylor ,   uk   (06.21.10)
Hes right in what he states about the Jerusalem struggle.. something needs to be done now before it is to late!
118. wilders
Maarten ,   The hague   (06.21.10)
Do you have a link to the actual interview? This is so absurd... even for Mr Wilders.
119. Johan #116
(06.21.10)
I understand your fears and the need for vigilance on our part. Because we have an ally in Wilders at this point in time, does not mean we should not be alert and re-evaluate the situation should circustances change. I can understand your fears and those of Charles above, based on Jewish history. Nevertheless, neither you nor Charles have presented us anything "specific" (at this point in time) that would cause us alarm about this man, other than that he is considered to be on the political Right. Do you consider everyone on the political Right your enemy?
120. Johan #116
Steve   (06.21.10)
My apologies. I forgot to include my name in my last post to you.
