61. k1w1 #60 order doesn't matter international law does
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (06.25.10)
First and foremost - the Arabs have NO legal claim to any of the land - in Gaza, Judea and Samaria. That is international law. Why don't you attempt to disprove that? Second - we are not in Gaza. That means we have no responsibility for Gaza period - that too is international law. Try the Geneva Convention for definitions. Third - because there is a border with another country. Again even if the above conditions did not exist, we can impose a blockade whenever we desire. Fourth - the Oslo Agreements give us the right to stop any and all shipping into and out of Gaza. Fifth - The Geneva Convention and the San Remo Manual give us the right to stop any and all vessels going into or out of Gaza. In short ALL international laws give us the rights here. Something you refuse to grasp. Your mis-stating those laws shows me that you have chosen to lie. Hamas is a criminal enterprise. Their charter declares that their intent is genocide. Just because a minority of voters (not just because of age) elected them does not change that fact. The blockade was imposed after over 12,000 rocket and mortar attacks on Israeli civilians. Each and every one of those attacks is a war crime. Our imposition of a blockade to attempt to stop those war crimes is legal. In fact Article 51 of the UN Charter and the Geneva Convention gives us the right to destroy every single building and kill anybody attempting to attack us regardless of where they are or what they are doing at the time we respond. That is what international laws state. You are busy defending war criminals.
62. #61. Gee.

Please enlighten me, Gee… Why is it, do you think, that no country in the world agrees with your claim that Israel has a legal right to occupy the West Bank and east Jerusalem? Why is it, Gee, that so many people and so many highly respected organisations (Red Cross, for instance) around the world believe that the blockade of Gaza constitutes collective punishment on the Palestinian people? How do you explain, Gee, the motivation of people from all around the world to organise and take part in the flotillas and risk their lives against the IDF, one of the most powerful forces on earth and known for it’s brutality towards peaceful protestors? I’m sure you have a ready answer for these questions too, along the lines that the reason is, because deep down the whole world has an ineradicable hatred of Jews… yawn. Try to come up with an honest answer. All you’ve done with your posts here is prove that Israel, along with every state in the world, has a right, within conditions, to impose a blockade on another state. So what? What I’ve shown is that Israel is not keeping within those conditions in regards to its blockade of Gaza - which is the whole point, in case you missed it… which, evidently, you did. You can cite all the points of law you like supporting Israel’s right to impose a blockade with military objectives, and I’d not argue with one of them, but Israel’s policy in Gaza amounts to collective punishment with political objectives, and no country, including Israel, has a right to impose collective punishment on innocent people. [Another point, Gee: when have I ever shown support for rocket attacks on innocent Israeli people? Whatever gives you the idea that I, a Kiwi from New Zealand, the most peaceful country on earth, renowned for our friendliness towards all people, would support the killing of innocent people? I do not support the slaughter of innocents by anyone, whether it’s by Hamas, Hezbollah, USA, NZ, Israel, or some common street criminal, and I am offended by the inference.]

I for one cannot fathom the depth of stupidity of the rest of the world. Nor will I ever attempt that feat. The fact is that the Arabs have created a fantasy of lies and the world believes it. You yourself have made numerous claims about international laws that do not exist. As for the racist Red Cross - they have a very long history of racism and anti-semitism. Including keeping Magan David out for decades. The lies that they have told could fill books. As for the blockade - you are wrong in every single way. We have a RIGHT to impose as much of a blockade as we want. That is pure international law - one without any restrictions and the claims of 'collective punishment' are totally without merit. You have repeated supported the people that have announced their goal is genocide. That is the Hamas Charter - the people in Gaza made them their government. So yes you are supporting genocide pure and simple. By claiming that any and all of actions to prevent that somehow amount to violations of 'international laws' defies real international law and all logic. Be offended, be very offended because you have offended every one of us with you support of war criminals. It is no difference in announcing your support for Nazis.
