61. #56 younger brides were there in Swedish royal wedding
observer   (06.23.10)
photographs were supposedly showing tiny "brides" dressed all in white and holding the hands of their much taller, grown-up "grooms". However, while a mass wedding did indeed take place in Gaza in July 2009, the claim that the photographed children were actually the brides in the ceremony is untrue. These photographs represent virtually the entire "body of evidence" that supports the claims in these indignant protest messages. However, this supposed photographic "evidence" is in fact meaningless because they do not actually depict child brides at all. Instead, they show young family members of either the bride or the groom. At such Muslim wedding ceremonies, it is a tradition for young girls to dress up and play a role in the celebrations in a way similar to how flower girls are used in Western wedding ceremonies. Although these young girls do look like little brides, they are certainly not the ones getting married. Hamas has vehemently denied that any children were married at the event. In fact, a Hamas official said that the youngest girl married at the ceremony was 16 years old while most were over 18 years of age. the reason these young men had little girls of a certain age WALK with them pretending to be brides, is because religiously they ( men) cannot hold a pubertal/ grown girl’s hand.

Well document by whom western governments who illegally took the land and gave it to you to establish their post-colonialism base to manipulate the Arabs. Now under British occupation of Palestine there was no problem between Jewish minority (mzarhi) and Arabs until Ashkenazim showed up as a refugee. Arab revolt not because they hate Jews but they felt that there is something planed against them. as the number of Ashkenazim had increased, it became obvious that their plan is to eliminate Arabs and establish a state only for Jews. don’t tell me the idea of the State of “Israel” was as a result of Arab revolt. Ashkenazim Zionists planed it even before the holocaust. Before the Turks, Arab had protected the Jews and accepts them after the Spanish Christians persecution. Under Arab, Jews flourished and kept their custom and traditions until they moved to “Israel.” This is documented by Mizrahi Jews.

67. Umberto Eco: Eternal Fascism
Chris ,   Austria   (06.23.10)
1. The first feature of Ur-Fascism is the cult of tradition. 2. Traditionalism implies the rejection of modernism, leading to irrationalism. 3. Irrationalism also depends on the cult of action for action's sake. 4. The critical spirit makes distinctions, and to distinguish is a sign of modernism. For Ur-Fascism, disagreement is treason. 5. Besides, disagreement is a sign of diversity. Fascism has a fear of difference. 6. Ur-Fascism derives from individual or social frustration. 7. To people who feel deprived of a clear social identity, Ur-Fascism says that their only privilege is the most common one, to be born in the same country (compare: concept of umma). 8. The followers must feel humiliated by the ostentatious wealth and force of their enemies. 9. For Ur-Fascism there is no struggle for life but, rather, life is lived for struggle. 10. Elitism is a typical aspect of any reactionary ideology, insofar as it is fundamentally aristocratic, and aristocratic and militaristic elitism cruelly implies contempt for the weak. 11. In such a perspective everybody is educated to become a hero. Cult of death. 12. Since both permanent war and heroism are difficult games to play, the Ur-Fascist transfers his will to power to sexual matters. 13. Ur-Fascism is based upon a selective populism, a qualitative populism, one might say. 14. Ur-Fascism speaks Newspeak.
68. #55 You know, there's this thing about that quote.
Roman ,   Lod, Israel   (06.23.10)
I've yet to see a truly documented and sourced version of it, other than a vague reference to a biography published in French which didn't seem to ever exist in that edition in the first place. Perhaps you could enlighten me, before you compare vague references to very much alive hate propaganda. Stop trying to justify the brainwashing of children, please - it's their lives you're destroying, not ours.
69. Not newsworthy? Are you nuts?
Annie ,   USA   (06.24.10)
When children being indoctrinated to to blow themselves up on a kids channel that also teaches multiplication (really well!) - is no longer newsworthy, well, I think I myself have died and entered the mad surreal kingdom of hell.
