After all, Haifa is one of the cities with the largest multi-cultural population, mostly because the Arabs listened to Ben Gurion's plea to stay and help build the State together. If you were "forced out" how come hundreds of others weren't? Was your family just ugly or had a bad reputation? Or just cowards and ran without seeing a soldier like most Arabs did? Either way, do you really think the local Arab population would accept your family of cowards back, especially since they helped build the State and you did nothing for 62 years?
