61. The Obama administration made a stupid move when it
Ed Shapira ,   Baltimore, MD USA   (09.26.10)
came into office when it demanded of Israel, in public, to cease construction and in so doing he ensured that the Arabs would only harden their position. He repeated the same stupid mistake when he announced essentially the same thing at the UN General Assembly, and in so doing once again ensuring lack of flexibility on the part of the Arabs. And in addition to these stupid practical moves, Obama demonstrated his hostile attitude toward the Jewish people by asking Jews, only because they are Jewish, not to build their homes on land that is still in dispute, but didn't issue such a request to the Muslims who also claim this land. My trust in Obama's wisdom and ability to handle a government is over. In fact, it has been over a long time ago.
62. Sheik Rattle & Roll #8 I will if he does the same
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (09.26.10)
As a former US Army officer and dual national I will assert my right to vote again. He won't stop interfering in our internal affairs so I will do the same in yours. What goes around comes around.
63. Steve Benassi #39 whiner - 3 letters for you

64.  #56 Arn the magnificient
Rob ,   Orangevale USA   (09.26.10)
Dream on Arn. We have a long way to go, and a long time to rub your face in the dirt. America is still emerging and has many surprises for Jew haters like you. You make us laugh with your mighty Swede nation. Have a chocolate and shut up.
65. To: No. 55
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.26.10)
Supporting Israel is in America's best interests. This president is leading America down a path of destruction, and he is in for a very rude awakening in November. Believe it or not, Youssef, the overwhelming majority of Americans are not interested in closer ties to the Islamofascist world, they are not all sure that there should ever be a second Palestinian state (Jordan is enough) and we really, really hate your primitive social practices and your cult (Islam is not a religion). A lot of people in the United States vote according to issues which are of particular importance to them; not just Jews. Of course, coming from Lebanon as you do, you wouldn't understand how a democracy operates if you tripped over it. So spare us your deep, contemplative thought -- you know nothing about the United States as your post so amply demonstrates.
66. To: Noam and Mattie
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.26.10)
Thank you for your very thoughtful post at No. 46. Being registered as Independent only makes it impossible for you to vote in primaries. Besides, you can vote for whomever you want no matter how you are registered. To decline to exercise your right to vote simply because you don't like the candidates is foolish. All Americans have the option of exercising a write-in vote; you are never restricted merely to who is running. Don't give up your right to vote merely because you wish to send a message -- how will anyone hear it?
67. To: No. 30
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.26.10)
Does your absurd tirade apply to other countries as well, or just Israel?
68. This American Jew just changed from Dem to Rebublican
Strong Jew   (09.26.10)
I take the pledge: I will NOT vote for ANY Democrat and I WILL vote Republican. I'm mad as hell and I'm NOT going to take it any more!
69. PARADE OF NUT CASES POSTING HERE ARE WRONG!!
David ,   Los Angeles   (09.26.10)
Contrary to the wishes of the Extreme Right in Israel and the USA, a vast majority of American Jews will once again show sense and vote Democratic. We are not agents of the Likud, nor do we believe the Evangelical Christians posting here are our friends: They have their own agenda, which is not friendly to Jews and Israel. We don't believe Obama is a Muslim or an enemy of Israel. And we think the Tea Party are a bunch of crazies, and the Republican Party is, more than ever, a bunch of incompetents (proven by Iraq and the economy) who are mostly interested in tax cuts for the rich and oil companies.
70. Obama is anti-Israel
Diane Adams ,   United States   (09.26.10)
This is dreck.
71. Reality check, please...
Persian CAT   (09.26.10)
Obama was elected by the majority of American people including many Jews and Muslims. What the Israelis think of Obama is irrelevant and those who say the American Jews will not vote for Obama have no proof nor data to backup their bizarre claim. President Obama is the first American president of the new generations who, voted was voted for mostly by the youth, women and people of color and sexual orientations. The American Jews will be smart enough to stay with them rather than in dwindling and mostly white racists who can easily turn "anti-Jewish" too.
72. obama one term
Anna M Sedda ,   Italy   (09.26.10)
it was clear he was only a "propaganda" smiling-let's be friend president....first he went to..Egypt where else could he find himself at home, and now the smoke will end..nothing else than smoke...
73. to #57. Hold your horses.
Noam and Mattie   (09.26.10)
You are saying if I don't vote I help Obama but you see why would I vote republican when the whole republican party was silent when Bush failed to sign the embassy act, etc as I laid out in my comment number 46? Do you think lying to Jews so they vote for you by promising them to sign the embassy act is not as wrong as wrong can be? Do you think because Obama is worse thousands of Jews who jumped ship who refuse to vote have no right to be angry? We are talking about Jerusalem. Our 'friend' could have legitimized Jerusalem to the whole world. He promised to. This is major!! However by refusing he ripped at the center of every Jew which is Jerusalem. So please, this is not about Israel to all of you who are screaming now it is about Obama. If anyone cared before Bush was in office for 8 years. Where was your voice then?
74. to 66
Noam and Mattie   (09.26.10)
Those of us who love Jerusalem and voted for Bush because of a campaign promise can not forgive nor should we forgive. By not voting we say, "you can no longer lie to us." We will withhold our votes until candidates stop lying. We stand in the thousands now. We can break any election. We will. When it comes to Jews both sides lie to us. While George Bush was taking us for a ride the whole of the Republican party remained silent. What does that tell you? Sadly, this is more about Obama then Israel. Now we have friends, right.....? Wrong. In the mean time we are being heard because large blocks of potential voters are killing elections. Soon they will ask us why and hopefully in time we will have candidates who work for us, for real.
75. Arn., Sweden #59
Steve   (09.26.10)
While I agree with you, prayer is essential, I think your ealier post, "THE US IS GOING DOWN..." makes more sense. You should know, if you are a Bible-believing Christian, prayer alone is not enough. Remember, Moses stood on the mountain and prayed for Israel. Joshua went out and fought our enemies. If you sit on your knees day in and day out praying, God is wondering if you are going to get up off your knees and do something about the enemy who is at the gates of your city. Or would you prefer to do nothing but pray, day in and day out while the enemy overruns your camp?
76. Noam and Mattie #73: Let me try again
Steve   (09.26.10)
I am a thirty eight year registered Republican. I am a conservative. I am voting for Republicans this November NOT because I expect them to be better than the Democrats on Israel. I don't. I am voting for Republicans primarily out of self interest; out of self preservation. (I want to make Aliyah.) You are right. The Republican party under Bush abandoned Israel. Bush made the establishment of a Muslim-enemy state in Israel's heartland a "formal goal of US policy." Bush did this only days after the 9/11 Islamic-terror attacks on the US; early October 2001. He did it in behalf of his and his father's Saudi friends, whom he protected from scrutiny after the attacks. To me, this is treason. I did not vote to re-elect Bush in 2004 and in 2006 mid-terms, I was so angry at Bush's betrayals on Israel, for the first time in my life I voted Democrat across the board. I want to make Aliyah. I want to sell my property. The way things are going with this dangerous man in power - with his Congressional Democratic accomplices - they are destroying the very institutions that made this nation what it is. They are destroying business and wealth. They are out to destroy the economy. Obama will turn America into a third-rate power if he succeeds. I worry that I might not be able to get out of here with what I've got. I worry that these leftists, these extremists will confiscate what I have and as Obama says, "spread the wealth." Obama leans toward Marxism, with full Congressional Democrat support. So you are right. It is not for Israel that I am voting Republican, but for self-interest. Bush and the Republicans made clear, Israel's security is not important. Appeasing the Muslim world is important. Israel has no real friends in the American government that I can see, neither in the Republican nor in the Democratic party; nor in any Independent party that I have seen. Israel is going to have to defend her own vital interests for her very survival. America has turned her back on Israel in terms of Israel's security and her survival. Bush and Obama were / are reconciled to a nuclear Iran. As Bush and Obama have proven, it is all about appeasing our oil-producing enemies in the Middle East. I believe America's better days may be numbered in the years to come. Those Jews who are vigilant, will get out of this country before it is too late. For me, it is primarily about self-interest this coming November.
77. Noam #74: Respectfully, yours is wishful thinking
Steve   (09.26.10)
You wrote: "Soon they will ask us why and hopefully in time we will have candidates who work for us, for real....." I do not believe you are going to see it. America's perception of her interests in the region is undergoing a profound change and not for the better. Jimmy Carter, Stephen Walt, John Mearsheimer ("The Israel Lobby"), these are the sort of public voices that will grow louder in the years to come. Like I wrote earlier, American Jews who are vigilant will realize it is time to think about getting out; making Aliyah. Islam is on the rise in the West. Here in the US, Muslim Brotherhood and Wahhabi Islam is a growing power. A force to be reckoned with. American leaders, media, etc., are in denial. Everyone is politically correct, like they are walking on egg-shells, less they offend Islam. Even prominent Jews (Mayor Bloomberg) support the ground zero mega-supremacist mosque. ADL warns that protests against the supremacist mosque at ground zero are "Islamophobic." Your hope that by not voting, you will be heard and candidates will ask you why you are not voting (because of Israel) I believe is a vain hope.
78. to Steve #76....
Noam and Mattie   (09.26.10)
Actually, we agree with you on almost every level. We bot came from liberal backgrounds yet over time we found ourselves holding fast to conservative ideals and voted Republican for many years as well. If only other Republicans would have what it takes to say what you did in this comment. Problem is they will not. They pretend the ME issue began with Barak Obama. Well if they would have the courage to say what you did perhaps then we might have a chance. Until then we are a sinking lot.....even by voting Republican. Now our friends care for us when an ultra liberal narcissist is in office. When it was Bush they were silent. What betrayal! God bless you! Best of luck.
79. To: No. 74
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.27.10)
How is withholding your vote going to support your cause? You are rejecting the seminal right that most people throughout the world yearn for. No one will see a "message" in the fact that you decline to exercise franchise. You will just join a very long list of Americans that cannot be bothered to vote. Shame on you.
80. How in the world is PA state good for USA?

They going to create medical technologies, advances in science, and have companies listed on NASDAQ? There are no oil wells in west bank to exploit. Like I said where is the benefit?

As an E. European Jew I remember that Communist Jews hailed Stalin even in the Gulag or during the heights of Stalin's purge of the Jews: not only in the Soviet U. but in the entire E. Block (Prague Trials etc.) They believed in earnest that Stalin did not know about their ordeal and the Great Leader was only mislead. Western Jews were spared from the ravages of the 20th. century thus their belief in Marxism-Leninism remained unshaken. Their new Great Leader is the Kenyan Muslim from Chicago who mesmerized them like a snake's eye does it to a chicken. Let's face the harsh reality: Jews of Israel, Easterners, Russians, Mizrahim, Sephardim...have too little in common with Soros and assorted Israel hating American establishment Jews... All we can do is talking past each other on these forums and get relief for the soul
82. If there's a "D" next to their name, VOTE against them!
Chaim ,   Israel   (09.27.10)
There is a growing consensus in America that Obama is the worst American President since James Buchanan, who split the Democratic Party in two and dithered as America slid into Civil War. Like Obama, Buchanan considered himself a great uniter. Also like Obama, Buchanan had delusions of greatness and likened himself to George Washington. Obama reportedly considered his election a cosmic event celebrated by the earth cooling and ocean levels falling! Both Buchanan and Obama devastated America. However, the problems with the Democrats are deeper than Obama. The party has been hijacked by radical leftists, far out of touch with mainstream American values. If there is a "D" next to their name, VOTE against them! As

you need to talk to your Palestinian neighbors not us . do not interfere in our politics if you don't want us to interfere in yours . 1% of the US population will not make a dent in our election ..stop overinflating your importance here .. the media can't help you here because the economic #s here are really adding up and on the way to recovery . it is humuros to read some of the talk backs especially Sara the B .

Did you not bother to take citizenship classes? The American people do not elect the president; the electoral college does. We have had presidents who lost the popular vote, but won the electors. Duh. May I remind you that in the elections earlier this month, forty-eight of the fifty states went red? Hussein Obama is toast; he'll be lucky to avoid impeachment.

Pres. Bush went to Jerusalem & the Knesset. There he gave a very pro Israel speech & ended it for all the world to see & hear.".GOD bless the USA & GOD bless Israel." I have yet to hear any other American President say these words!!!!!!!Pres Bush may not have been perfect ,but he was a better friend to Israel than Obama.!!!!!

WELL - IT IS WRITTEN ABOUT THE FALSE PROPHETS - "THEY HAS NOT STAND IN THE GAP BEFORE YEHOWAH" !!!. THIS GAP IS WHERE ALL SPIRITUAL PATHS MEETS - GOD AS WELL AS BAD. THE SPIRIT THAT RULES THE US MUST BE CHALLENGED OPENLY BY WORDS - AND CAST OUT BY AUTHORITARIAN PRAYER COMAND IN FASTING. THERE ARE TWO - DEATHSINS - THAT NATIONALY HAS OVERTAKEN THE US - AND THAT GOD DEMAND CAPITAL PUNISHMENT FOR - """ ABORTION and HOMOSEXUALITY """ !!!. AND SINCE GOD NEVER CHANGES IN THIS REGARD, GOD INTETS UPON ABORTION OF THE US. SO - ??? - WHAT DO YOU SEEE AS MOST IMPORTANT - TO CONVERT THE US IN REPENTENS OF THOSE NATIONAL SINS, TO SAVE THE US, OR, TAKE ON SOME OF YOUR INDIVIDUAL OR NATIONAL FOES - ???. FOR THOSE WHO AS CHRISTIANS UNDERSTAND THIS DIFFERENSE AND FEEL THEIR RESPONSIBILITY, THEIR PIC OF ACION IS EASY I THINK - AND REGARDING THE OTHERS, LET HOSE DEAD SPIRITUALS, TAKE CARE OF THE ENEMIES YOU POINT AT, BECAUSE YOUR COMMENT IS RIGHT AS SUCH. GOD BLESS !!!. Arn.
