61. gaza boayt Yonatan Shapira
steve   (09.29.10)
Is this the same Yonatan Shapira who descrated the gate at Auschwitz with anti-Jewish drawings recently and "free Gaza"? Because I know a couple of Holocaust survivors who didnt sleep very well after reading about his actions. I hope they applied the taser on the right spot!
62. There are Consequences for Prospective Blockade Busters
Douglas Fireman ,   Niles, USA   (09.29.10)
Rather than trying to break the blockade, the Israeli should focus on getting the sound sleep that he apparently needs. It is okay for sympathizing with the Gazans whose lives have been turned into a hell by Hamas and cohorts. But, in my view, prospective blockade busters must be held personally accountable for the consequences of their actions.
63. Dear Mr. Moskovitz
Rube Vogel ,   Jerusalem   (09.29.10)
You are trying to open an unfettered passage to Gaza that will be used to smuggle weapons and kill Jews. No wonder you can't sleep. Gazans get all the humanitarian assistance they need. Despite the blockade, they even have plenty of missiles. Why do you want them to have more?
64. Tasered ONLY?
Paolo O. ,   Ramat Gan, IL   (09.29.10)
I would sink them in a pool full of sharks... disgusting? Sure. The "peacefakers" behaviour. Traitors...
65. A message for others:"Don"t try your luck"!
Roland Seener ,   London England   (09.29.10)
66. Only Tasered-consider yourself lucky
DT ,   TA Israel   (09.29.10)
you deserve worse .
67. What a pack of emotional drama queens
Cameron ,   USA   (09.29.10)
68. #58 - Actually, your's says it all
William ,   Israel   (09.29.10)
While people are stoned and beheaded, your ilk are pre-occupied by an ex-soldier (supposedly strong) who got tasered for causing a disturbance. And while law enforcement use such tactics for more benign incidents, your focus is on Israel with claims of "abuse" and " violence". What you're really saying is "I believe in an Apartheid situation against Israel - one law for them, and one for the rest of us." This is a very sad commentary of yourself as a human and your ilk who populate our world, luckily, not in the majority.
69. What a bunch of cry babies
Mike ,   Oxford UK   (09.29.10)
they wated thousands of dollars worth of Army (Israeli taxpayers) time and Money, and broke several national and international laws. They should be charged with this. Those sick bastards!
70. well put William at 68

71. Some things are useful to know about this "free Gaza" boat:
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (09.29.10)
1) The boat home port was Famagusta, the largest port in Turkish conquered and occupied northern Cyprus. The Turks, of course, invaded Cyprus, a UN member state, in 1974, captured its northern part and expelled the more than 200,000 ethnic Greek Cypriots who inhabited the island. No country has since recognized the legitimacy of northern Cyprus under Turkish control. But the "freedom fighters" of Gaza, have with their own action and have made its Famagustta port their home base... 2) The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) which had captured Gaza as part of a defensive war against Egypt in 1967 gradually vacated the territory, beginning in 1994, an evacuation that was completed in 2005. Israel, for all practical purposes, owes nothing to Gaza and its internationally recognized Islamist terrorist rulers a thing. Yet, despite the fact that Gaza also borders on Muslim-Arab Egypt, it is Israel that is the main source of Gaza's water, electricity, petrol, food supplies, medicine, hardware and the likes, and this while Gaza is at a state of armed conflict with the nation-state of the Jewish people. 3) The "aid" delivered by the passengers on the boat consisted of three hand begs of supplies... which will be transfered to Gaza by Israel from the port of Ashdod, 20 to 30 minutes drive to Gaza's border. What we witness here is a provocation by lunatics who are more eager to assist Hamas from the home base of Famagusta than the Jewish children of S'derot and Ashqelon who, for years, were the target of rockets fired at them by the thugs in Gaza. What a surrealistic picture...!!
72. #31 You're running out of material, Matty
Mark ,   Lodz, Poland   (09.29.10)
...to apply your mindset. How about applying it to to Hamas throwing Fatah off rooftops...now that's worth commenting on with 'your passion for pseudo-justice' Noticed you didn't have much to say about Stuxnet...which is pointing to be a massive lifesaver. Clearly that kind of news doesn't do it for you.
73. Yonatan Shapira - Is this guy for real?
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (09.29.10)
74. They don't get their 72 virgins..
Jerry ,   Romania   (09.29.10)
.. if they're tazed, so taze them a couple of times for me too..
75. Who are they?
Sidney ,   USA   (09.29.10)
Why is there not more information about these peace-lovers. A man is described as a Holocaust survivor. How did he survive? What did he do with his life subsequently? What good has he done for Israel or the Jewish people? What about the former pilot? We have war heroes in the U.S. who subsequently become criminals. One can be anti-social and irrational and still be a good soldier. What good has he done since leaving the military?
76. To: No. 31
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.29.10)
There was nothing on the catamaran except people. No "aid" at all. Your post, therefore, lacks substance. Gee, there's a surprise!
77. To: No. 60
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.29.10)
Agreed. But we don't have to like them and, frankly, I do not. Jews are supposed to lead purposeful lives, and if their purpose -- as they claim -- was to bring "aid" to Gaza, how do you explain the fact that there was no aid on board?
78. To: Mark at No. 72
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.29.10)
"Matty" comment on Stuxnet? Heavens, no! She might then actually have to say "Thank you, Israel, for putting an end to the extraordinary threat to civilization posed by a nuclear Iran, and for achieving this extraordinarily praiseworthy goal without a single drop of blood being shed." Where's the fun for "Matty" in that? Shana tova, Mark, if I neglected to say it before now.
79. pakistan has nukes
pini ,   usa   (09.30.10)
and that bothers me.
80. To: Pini No. 79
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.30.10)
The Pakistanis do have nukes, but they lack delivery capacity.
