It is clear from the content of the article that this was a deliberate attempt to ambush Mr. Be'eri. Dozens of masked men? Stone throwers? Cameras at the scene ahead of the confrontation? A car blocking Mr. Be'eri's retreat? What was Mr. Be'eri supposed to do? Sit there and wait to be killed? Oh, I think not. I think not. I think he did the only thing he could do, and if the end result is two fewer stone-throwers, perhaps it should be done more often.

Rocks are like Bullets. It is obvious the people were throwing rocks. People who have cameras didnt try to stop this. We are supposed to feel sorry for people who throw rocks at cars. it is obvious that the driver had to leave to eliminate damage and possible injury to himself and his passenger

If David was killed, then it gets distributed as a snuff film; if he survives by taking desperate measures, then he is prosecuted by (basically) anti-settler Israeli police. I'm not really an enthusiastic supporter of Elad - personally I'd rather go to the beach or to the pub. But what else was David Be'eri supposed to do? He was blocked in, under attack, and had only one way out. He should be commended for his quick thinking. If you watch the video closely, you will see that at the beginning he tried to go around the guy that he eventually hit. But the guy basically ran into his path. And the guy also didn't appear to land too badly. You can see that he even starts to get up at the end, but possibly realises that the resulting footage won't be as dramatic. These attackers should be the ones under inverstigation. If it wasn't for Be'eri's quick thinking, we might instead be reading about the lynching of a fellow Jew instead.
