Turkish "wrath?" Is that anything like Turkish delight? How about Turkish taffy? Please. Get real. What are you going to do, invade Israel? What do you think we are, Cyprus? Innocent Kurdish civilians? Tuck your tail between your legs and slink away. You lost this one, face it. There will be no apology, save for the one that Erdogan shamefacedly makes to Israel for fomenting a tempest in a teapot. There will be no compensation to the families of Turkish terrorists. You've shot your wad; now get lost.

Turkey should be suspended from NATO and Obama should stop trying to pressure the EU into admitting Turkey on the grounds that its an islamic state and admitting an islamic state would send a positive signal to the islamic world. Its also time for President Obama to carry our a promise that Senator Obama made before the election when he said he was determined to get Turkeys actions against the Armenians in WW1 officially recognized as genocide. President Obama officially defines it as an unfortunate incident.

When your bottom opens, noise comes ou! The blockade is ILLEGAl and not recognised by anyone internationally, except by American jews. What Israel did was to commit more war crimes. Period, fullstop, sit down, shut up.
64. Gokhan / Erdem and Turkish Woman
David Israel ,   New York, USA   (12.06.10)
Erdem and Turkish Women, thank you for your kind and friendly remarks. Israel never intended to have bad relations with Turkey and will never have bad relations with the modern, educated, secular and peaceful Turks such as you. Israel and Turkish Jews like me living in USA always supported the Turkish causes in the USA. In the most difficult times of Turkey Israel helped the lifting of the USA embargo, blocked the Armenian Genocide bills in the USA. Unfortunately there are many like Gokhan in Turkey that you need to educate and bring them to your camp or to the path of Mustafa Kemal. There are a few on our side also that we need to deal too but in Israels open democracy (not like the current Turkish advanced - ileri - democracy) things fall back in their proper place as circumstances change.

<< Protocol II is a 1977 amendment protocol to the Geneva Conventions relating to the protection of victims of non-international armed conflicts. It defines certain international laws that strive to provide better protection for victims of internal armed conflicts that take place within the borders of a single country. As of 14 January 2007, the Protocol had been ratified by 163 countries, with the United States, Israel, Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan and Iraq being notable exceptions. However, the United States, Iran and Pakistan signed it on 12 December 1977 with the intention of ratifying it. even, not signing it doen't make it nul. Gaza is not sovereign state, but it is not part of Israel. Part V Section II (95) of the San Remo Manual states that a blockade must be effective and cannot let certain vessels in while rejecting others. Israel has, since the start of the blockade, permitted certain ships to enter while not permitting others. Of the numerous trips staged by the Free Gaza Movement, several earlier trips have been permitted to reach Gaza through the blockade, where as others were not. The blockade is also in violation of Part V Section II (102) which prohibits blockades that: have the sole purpose of starving the civilian population or denying it other objects essential to its survival. << the value of the thing being blockaded – rocketry supplies – is fairly small when weighed against the potential cost of blockading it. This undermines the political legitimacy of Israel’s blockade and makes the enforcement of the blockade a potential liability for Israel on the world stage, particularly when the blockade is challenged.

Oh, "Shlomo Kamera" the Lebanese Roman Catholic who pretends to be Israeli. (In your stead, I'd be just as jealous of Jews and Israel as you are.) Israel's blockade of Gaza is internationally recognized and fully legal. Do a little research before you drop your pants and amuse us all with your -- er -- shortcomings.

Hate to deflate your balloon, bubbeleh, but the blockade is fully legal and internationally recognized. Oh, just think. You spent all that time illegally co-opting other people's comments and presenting them as your own. How about getting a job instead? What a perfect waste of time. Come to think of it -- that's pretty much what YOU are ....

Okay, let's talk about reality. The reality is that Turkey is toast if it ever decides to challenge Israel. There! Trust I have addressed your rather infantile issue. Time to go put on your pretty puff panties, grab your axe and gravitate the hell off this forum.
