"In fact, if you give the Arab Israelis a choice to move to other countries, they would not make this choice." Correct. Arab Israelis -- not to mention "Palestinians" living throughout the world -- have thus far declined to relocate to the PA in order to help build a viable state. Contrast that with the Jews who flocked to Israel in 1948 and thereafter, many coming from some of the wealthiest Jewish communities in the world -- to help build a thriving State of Israel. That is why there will never be a "State of Palestine." Unless, of course, Jordan chooses to change its name. "So you are either outright a racist, not very bright or you really are a Number 2." She is all of the above.
32. Where are you Salma?
Yossef   (12.06.10)
What do you think about that? It makes me think. For sure a palestinian state will ends a lot of suffering and will guaranty a viable Jewish Israeli State, as well as a Palestinian State. If the majority of countries recognize Palestine, I will say, fine, OK, let's go this way. We both Palestinians and Jews have advantage to separate one from each other. So... Would like your input there Salma.
33. Its all over .. Israel...We get our country back
RJBH ,   Methil   (12.06.10)
Brazil... Is leading the Avalanche of countries to Recognise Palestine within its 1967 Borders.
34. do you need a coach?
dieguito ,   paternal   (12.06.10)
Cristina Einstein Kirchner has offered the ambassador post to Maradona, but he prefers to coach the Balestinian national soccer team... and they will win the 2022 world cup... Combine Cristina, Lula, Mujica, and Timmerman's IQ which is equal to Maradona's... Good luck Abbas! with friends like these, who needs enemies? Hire Maradona! Chavez will write a letter of rec.
35. ignorance
bruno ,   portugal   (12.07.10)
it's only ignorance that leads these latin american countries to do what they do, or else it`s the moorish cry that does this.

Lip service is one thing. Exchange of embassies and ambassadors is a whole different thing. I note for the record that despite the famous and ballyhooed "declaration of statehood" rendered in 1988, and all the countries that signed aboard (including the United States), NOT A SINGLE COUNTRY IN THE WORLD has established formal diplomatic ties or exchanged ambassadors. Try again. Don't you know when someone hands a biscuit to a tantrum-throwing child just to get them to stop misbehaving? A biscuit is not exactly a full meal, now, is it? Duh!
39. This is an interesting strategy
Leon ,   Ottawa, Canada   (12.07.10)
Maybe the rest of the world should bypass US/Israeli rejectionism and recognize Palestine based on the 67 borders. Israel is ignoring the will of the world with US support by creating facts on the ground (aka stealing Pal land). If countries around the world recognized the 67 borders it would provide the PA with support and lay the foundations for a future global boycott against Israel.

43. The war is here! Say NO to Palestine!
Euriel ,   Budapest, Hungary   (12.07.10)
Israel cannot accept the unrealistic 1967 borders even if it accepts the creation of a "second" Palestinian state (after Jordan). If the world recognizes "Palestine" within the "de jure" never existed 67 "borders", then Israel must start a war and incorporate the West Bank and Gaza forever! No choice, there will be war as mentioned in the prophecies. The responsibility for the bloodshed is due to the stupid politics of communist (!) Brazil, Argentine and Chavez-ruled Venezuela, but also due to the conspiracy of naive European Left and Maoist China.

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (12.07.10)
The United States already extended recognition of the PA and Gaza as a "'Palestinian'" state. It's been about 20 years, actually. Of course, they have yet to act on it; they never will. I just don't see the current Congress ratifying an exchange of embassies and ambassadors, do you? Particularly since the United States' recognition was effectively voided when Hamas took control of Gaza. I trust you haven't forgotten that the United States has defined Hamas as a terrorist organization, and I trust equally that you do not need me to list for you all the statutes which prohibit contact with terrorist organizations, do you?
45. # 30 If Palestine will be Free
Palestinian   (12.07.10)
No peace even in hideout wherever maybe under the rock. Please say hi to your "Hashem"
46. The Faulklands are now free of any Argentine claim
John Phee ,   Sydney AUSTRALIA   (12.07.10)
By recognising the Arab State on the West Bank, Agentina has voided any claim that they think they have to the Faulkland Islands. (Palestine & Palestinian were definitions given to Jews & used by them & not the Arabs). Will Agentina now recognise the independence of the Faulklands from Argentina. The Faulklanders claim to independence is far stronger that the Arabs on the West Bank. But all this is just posturing by the South Americans, its all about "sticking it to the US". Do they really care about the West Bankers, no. Most West Bank arabs are decent people who deserve better than than what they have gotten for the last 50 years from everyone.
47. The Palestinian's are not Arabs
Peace Seeker ,   Earth   (12.07.10)
It is rather despicable to read the vile comments by racists in this forum who desperately try to deny the existence of the indigenous Palestinian people. Genetics prove that the Palestinians are in fact the the closest ancestors of the ancient inhabitants of Canaan, a land which for a time was called Israel and today is called Palestine, and the fact that they have lived in the Land of Palestine continuously for thousands of years affirms their right to remain living in the land of their ancestors.
48. To: No. 22
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (12.07.10)
What difference does it make? It is not up to countries to declare statehood unilaterally (note that the PA did that in 1988 and everybody yawned, despite a resolution passing; note further that not a single state that voted for the resolution has exchanged ambassadors with the PA or established an "embassy" in the PA -- what does that tell you?). Israel is a sovereign state, and has the absolute and inalienable right to decide its capital city. That's a purely internal decision. Don't you recognize the difference?

You are correct. Mea culpa.
50. Not only has Israel suffered a major reversal
RJBH ,   Methil   (12.07.10)
The US has found it wear NO Clothes...Where is the US power that Brazil Argentina.. Many other other South American will be about to declare also... Trust me.. Turkey calls for more countries to Recongnise what is perfectly Obvious... While Iran is busy build the defences it needs... Free from US interference the US cant win a war against Afghans after 10 years.. no matter how superior their Tech... Goob bye Israel... Goodbye America... your day has come... and Now its Gone.
51. To : Ms. Sarah B
Palestinian   (12.07.10)
Dear Sarah: During the Carmel fire nowhere to be heard to brag about your usual BS. All of the sudden, you show up with a caught fire in... You keep saying Palestinians don't want peace and refused to have a Palestinian state 3 times in the past. Sarah, Palestinians would accept A Palestine at the 1967 borders but your wide fire won't accept it?
52. Congrats to South America
Me   (12.07.10)
Always funny to read this largely delusional audience, their pathetic bias, hatred and revisionist history. Israel is more and more a pariah State by its own will and actions, that is your hasbara results at defending with appalling propaganda any of your indefensible actions.

Robert ,   farmington ,usa   (12.07.10)
