Um ... Peres should be advised that the missiles we have are only anti-missile-missiles. The ones that can reach Israel are based in the Continental US, and they are actually aimed at Iran and other enemies of of the US. The only consideration that the Jewish nation plays in that equation is that we may launch them in support of our ally, Israel. Of course, Israel already has weapons of that nature and doesn't really need our ICBM's. ;)
62. Golani, the "other countries" in the ME...
Persian CAT   (12.16.10)
do have ALL KINDS of discriminatory policies against various religious and ethnic groups. At the same time NONE of "those countries" has made any claims about being a democracy. Besides NONE of "those countries" has Jewish-only or Muslim-only roads. That and other systematic discreminatory policies makes Israel an Apartheid state. Regarding your claim that "the majority of Israeli Arabs would chose to stay in Israel...", I not very sure that's entirely true, but I agree that the Israeli Arabs will be much better off in Israel than those hell holes where the rest of Arabs have to live under unelected despotic rulers.

Sam, Sam, Sam... Your "smart guy" took a beating lately at the polls - and continues to do so in the negative turn his popular and legislative support is taking. Perhaps he's not quite as "smart" as you think he is. "The Annointed One" doesn't represent the will of the majority of the American people and will be gone in just two short years. Actually, some of us value justice and faith over money and will continue to support Israel despite those who are ignorant of history - such as yourself. Have a good day.

In my world for their personal opinion, unlike your world. The "True majority" as you put support Israel and "Apartheid" has nothing to do with it. That what we call a ringer question, worded to elicit a certain response for a political agenda. Therefore irrelevant and since it's not sourced probably phony, but it nice to see you change the subject. I spoke for myself and the majority opinion in the U.S., AS WE SEE HERE 63%: http://www.gallup.com/poll/126155/support-israel-near-record-high.aspx CASE CLOSED

seadog writes: "You also don't speak for all US citizens." Never said I did, did I seadog? Here is what I wrote: "Of course some here in the U.S. don't like and even hate Israel, but they are the minority opinion." The exact opposite of what you stated. I said a majority of Americans support Israel, as we see HERE: http://www.gallup.com/poll/126155/support-israel-near-record-high.aspx That number is 63%, stop changing the subject. The policy issues are can worded by unscrupulous polling for a political agenda. What's your source for that claim and how is it even relevant to my post. What I said was factual, unlike yours, where you misstate what I wrote. Please learn to read my posts in their entirety before responding, if you disagree prove it with a legitimate source. Something I've found the anti-Israel writer incapable of, or using phony info and questionable sources.

I admit that I too am at times too lazy to include supporting information, but, including facts to substantiate one's claims can be vital - as in the case here - to one's audience understanding those claims. The roads for Jews or Muslims only (interesting as it's the first I've heard of it), may have its basis in Muslim/Arab attacks on Jews traveling by road. Much like the blockade in Gaza, and other things for which the media love to criticize Israel, it makes sense that the roads to which you refer were birthed by necessity, as the Muslims attempt to fulfill their stated goal of wiping Israel off the map with trying to murder Jews.
67. Palestinian State already exists in Jordan
(12.17.10)
Mahmoud Abbas is deluded in his dreams of statehood and the Arabs will continue to feed this delusion and forsake their own people for the sake of Destroying Israel. US is basically broke and is no doubt being paid by the Arabs to push Israel into giving up land. So sad but true that the Arab nations could but will not welcome the PA peoples back to their real homeland which is in Jordan, I guess they are afaid of the PA peoples taking over the Hasimate kingdom of Jordan. Israel should never, never, never give up land to any country no matter how powerful they are. The land belong to God and Jerusalem is where God has chosen to put his name for all eternity. Israel must claim this and tell the USA to get the heck out of it Land and mind its own business. Peace to Israel God Bless the PM of Israel too
68. #62;Persian Cat, for the record....
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (12.19.10)
P.C. writes: "Besides NONE of "those countries" has Jewish-only or Muslim-only roads" Actually it's true that Israel does NOT have Jewish only roads, sadly the same cannot be said of those "other countries". AS WE SEE HERE: http://www.tomgrossmedia.com/SaudiArabia.html Alas it is typical that the Arabs are guilty of what they accuse Israel of, and Israel innocent of the claims made against it, as we see above.
