121. Roni, roni bat Zion!
John DeLancy ,   Alaska, USA   (12.30.10)
I am a mixture, oil in water, everything and nothing. In my most Christian I want the same that I want in my most Jewish: MORE JEWS! G-D expand Your chosen! Grant the Jews more land and more numbers. It _hurts my heart_ to think of women chosen by the Almighty throwing away their heritage for some man who despises her people. You can call that racism if you want, but I feel that the Jews are something that the world would be a much, much sadder place without. If these righteous ladies' letter helps even one of the daughters of Zion to remain faithful to the One who made her, then it's worth all the hateful posts to these articles. As has been said before: stay alive, Israel's people // am yisroel chai!
122. Get it straight
MS ,   S. Diego, USA   (12.30.10)
Indeed, many of these women do hold jobs. But your suggestion that bringing a living being into the world and raising that soul to become a productive, decent member of society is not "something of substance" is really telling. "Being a wife" is not the same thing as being an appendage of her husband, as you imply - it is about each giving of oneself and receiving from the other such that they share one ideal, one life, and one soul. To become One with another person is certainly not a "meager" thing - it is glorious, joyous, and fulfilling.
123. #117 Chasing but never finding your target?
Josh   (12.30.10)
Provoking posts. Sorry I can't help you. If I believed you had any background whatsoever and any knowlege, I would check what I posted and retract at any hint of mistake. I am secure enough to face the truth. Its just that I have been there among many converts, I have sat in Meah Sharim, walked the halls of yehisvas, sat in Aish classrooms, and been instructed by well known Rabbis of the US orthodox movement, I have davened with Ger Fur hat dati, I have danced Simcha Torah in spinning fun, I have stood on my side of the machizahs in concerts, and been called to the bimah, and given speaches before masorti audiences on Torah. I have stood on the roof tops of the old city with revered Rabbis and broke bread with their families. I know from eye witness accounts what goes on. Separate laws for converts is NOT Torah and what is going on. So chase as you will Charles/Roman, you can't silence the truth from my mouth by chasing me with novice instigations and false claims.
124. MARRY YOUR OWN KIND
Yitzhak Simcha ,   Be'er Sheva   (12.30.10)
Any Jewish Woman Stupid Enough to give her body (& Yes Soul) to a man outside of her own people is pathetic~!
125. The existence of this phenomenon....
Dina ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (12.30.10)
is one of the many tragic results of 62 years of secular and even anti-Judaism rule by authorities who are Jewish in name only and who have deliberately turned their back on G-d and Torah, bringing tragedy upon themselves and their people. If these girls - and ALL Jewish children, secular and religious - would have received a truly Jewish education based on real Torah concepts, this phenomenon would be non-existent. As would the presence of Arabs in Israel at all!
126. a message to all of us
(12.30.10)
for those of all all. to our memory of thosee who perished in europe alone it is incumbent upon us for the name sake and memroy of all who died in vain, for us not to intermingle with those who may admire us but who can never truley understand us. do not intermarry as it was hitlers wish for us not to survive and this is one way for our people to be diminshed.
127. #110 Rami, you don't know your religion
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (12.31.10)
Crusades weren't exactly what anyone could call a display of "Tolerance" Neither was the Spanish Inquistion The wars in Europe were fought mainly by Christian's killing each other In WW One, German soliders had a belt buckles that bore the inscription "Gott is mut uns" (God is with us) Your priests were very tolderant when they went into South & Central America and forced the natives to convert by the edge of the sword Look at your own history before posting such obvious disinformation (Lies) Sorry, I forgot to mention the Priestly pedophilia, your wonderful priests chasing the altar boys
128. #110 Rami, how neglectful of me
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (12.31.10)
I forgot to mention the Pogroms of Europe, which were perpetrated against the Jews by your Church
129. @#121: I can't make up my mind: are you being serious?
Bat Zion ,   Central Israel   (12.31.10)
Seems to me that most of your post goes a bit over my head. I mean, how can one be both Jewish and Christian? i.e., either you believe the Messiah came, or he don't you? Happy New Year.
130. To #129
John DeLancy ,   Alaska, USA   (01.01.11)
Quite serious, although somewhat tipsy when that was written. But in vino veritas. Really, for the issue of Israel it doesn't matter if Yeshua ben Yoseph was Moshiach. Many, many prophecies were fulfilled in his time here on earth, but not all. His disciples as much as asked "are you going to restore the kingdom now?" Obviously, he did not. Since that time, other prophecies have been fulfilled, not least of which is the regathering of the children of Israel from the ends of the earth. There are other prophecise, like the entire world being arrayed against Israel, yet to be fulfilled. Then Moshiach will come. This is the hope of Christians and Jews. According to prophecy, he will bodily save a Jewish nation of Israel from her enemies, restore the kingdom, and a good time will be had by all (but really _all_, c.f. Zecharaih 14:16-19). It will be a fun time for G-D's chosen, the Jews. If when this happens (and as far as I know, that set of prophecies are the only ones not yet fulfilled), then will it matter if Moshiach is Yeshua ben Yoseph? I don't think it will matter. I personally think it will be, but if it's not, I won't be sad - I'll still be glad to see the Almighty keeping his word. I hope that answers your question. Happy New Year to you too, and a belated Shana Tova, bat Zion.
131. To #128 Ben Jabo
John DeLancy ,   Alaska, USA   (01.01.11)
(I checked this old thread to see if Dutchy every attained the intestinal fortitude to respond to me, but your post did need a response) There is a _vast_, sometimes irreconcilable difference between Christianity and Christendom, between people who believe the New Testament scriptures and people who instead believe the dictates of the Church. The former will forgive you if you do bad things to them, will do good for you not expecting anything in return, and most importantly will leave the decision of what faith you follow up to you. The latter has forced conversions-by-sword, spread hatred of Jews simply for being Jews and wanted to take over the world by force. Much like Islam is doing today. Hopefully, Rami is one of the people who follows the Bible and not one of the ones who follows the Church.

"We're allowed to fight assimilation. This is not racism" Actually it's the very definition of racism.
