> 'I'm being treated like an enemy,' she tells Ynet But isn't she one? Or more accurately, doesn't she work for a network that is blatantly anti-Israel, twisting and manipulating facts and images to bash Israel at every opportunity? And why would she be scared of a metal detector when she was pregnant???

11. Apology Rings Hollow
Mark ben Josuf ,   USA   (01.15.11)
The apology, coming from the press office rings hollow. It was supposedly Netanyahu who invited her. If sincere, the apology should come from the PM's office, or better yet, Shin Bet. Granted the Foreign Ministry's job is humiliating people and they are on strike. But, was Shin Bet appointed to take over that role? Why invite her? Just to humiliate a pregnant woman? If this was supposed to improve Israel's image in the Arab world, the tactics backfired. What's next? Calling on Gabrielle Giffords to apologize to Sarah Palin?
12. This article is slightly worded different from the other one
noa ,   israel   (01.15.11)
She told them she was pregnant and they didn't listen to her. Sounds like Kupat Cholim, or any other organization that is supposed to help people. No one, no one listens. They all have their own agenda, never hear your name or why you are here. It's not her, it's the rudeness and insensitivity of those who serve the public.

14. Female security agents in Israel and their reputations
Mea   (01.15.11)
Listen, there is an issue whether or not the recepient is from Al Jezeera. I read another report about female agents at Ben Gurion pulling a young woman aside and taking her into a room, then taking her clothes away. She was cooperative until they began tearing her expensive clothing. I have seen the aggression w/my own eyes. It may be amusing to make officers, but listen, this is BAD for Israel. It needs to be standardized like so many other things in Israel.

Noa, its up to you not to allow anyone in an organization to mistreat you in any way. Just dont take sh*t from any of them. Stand your ground girl!

She can count her lucky stars that she got an apology in the first place. Nothing Israel does or says would improve our image in the arab world.
17. what a cry baby...
Alexander ,   NJ USA/Israel   (01.15.11)
big deal another chick frisked her and she "feels uncomfortable" well at least we can all "feel safe" knowing she's just a whinny news reporter and not an Arab terrorist. Get over yourself lady, your not that special that you can avoid security checks...
18. simple solution - don't wear a bra next time!

19. Stripping
Moragh   (01.15.11)
Be it male or female, they'd have wished they never came up against me. When I would be forced to strip at any airport, First they pay me, my price, then the'y get their little peep. After that (with my temper) they'd have a helluva sore face! Let me tell you, come up against me and they'll wish they'd never set face on me! I have never been a pushover, and I won't start now!
20. # 13 Split - Where is Sarah B.?
Ginette Golden ,   Toronto, Canada   (01.15.11)
Rachel # 6 & 7 I am with you girl! Howard (#8) right on man! Now to answer # 13's question: I understand why Sarah is not commenting (yet) on this article. Like me she feels split in half in her reasoning...on one hand, you don't treat a pregnant lady like that, on the other hand she works for "Al-Jazeera T.V." not exactly a pro-Israel channel! Also a few "pregnant women" blew themselves up in the past, killing and injuring many just by pretending to be pregnant under their garb which was hiding a bomb belt. So yes, better err on the side of caution and if the lady got a tad humiliated, so what? Everybody gets the same treatment. If the Arab terrorists did not do what they enjoy doing best (blowing themselves up), there won't be a need for a strip search. You guys noticed they let her keep a tee-shirt and underwear...so not exactly the strip search a prisoner receives in any jail house (never experienced it but I heard about it)

They didn't apologize for the strip search, they apologized for any hurt feelings. Big difference. Clearly they'd do it again in an instant.

You and your kind should all go to Israel and close the door, refuse all USA aid, cease trade with anyone else and shut your mouths. Your hubris is astounding!
