1. No State At All
Yishai Kohen ,   YeShA, Israel   (01.23.11)
Not partial, not total, not temporary, not permanent: NOTHING. Not here in OUR land. The land of Israel belongs to the nation of israel- not to Erekat or any other would-be usurper. I sure am glad we cleared that up. Now move on.
2. Hey - fatah say they won't recognize israel as jewish state
galut ,   selah   (01.23.11)
so why should there be a palistinian state? could it be its written in a blood covenat that is binding in the charters of hamas fatah & hezbulah.?... and anyone that does recognize israel as a state risks a bullet or bomb with thier name on it.
3. 1947 partition borders are the only acceptable ones
Nour   (01.23.11)
Otherwise 1 state solution!
4. Erekat
Ricardo Macher ,   Karnei Shomron IL   (01.23.11)
He should be declared "persona non grata" by Israel based on his very low reliability! If they think they can attack Lieberman, why cannot we state the truth about their leaders?
5. sure, pali-state IS already there...
Marcelo ,   Belin   (01.23.11)
and its name is Jordan. So, you don't have to wait any single minute, you can cross the river, and complete the 2 millions palis to form the new "pali-state"...
6. abbas the puppet
wmd   (01.23.11)
but ruled out the possibility of a military conflict.
7. Lieberman plan? What's that dudu?!
Salma ,   Palestine   (01.23.11)
On the grounds that Liberman is Crazed and cut off from the outside world, then No blame is there on him .
8. to #3 sorry but every new agreement anulles
ghostq   (01.23.11)
the previous one, there is no point to go back or to cry on spiled milk, you keep changing you mind and you r not a girl, and the one state solution means you will have to accept the jewish history in the region.
9. lieberman is not right
fad egypt   (01.23.11)
winger his plan is more dangerous than bibi plan
10. It is not up to Erakat
Brod ,   USA   (01.23.11)
Erakat has no choice. It is not up to him and his Islamist-Jihadist cohorts. They either shut their mouths or move to Jordan-their homeland. Erakat is nobody. He is an Arafat clone. And Arafat was a master Islamist-Jihadist terrorist responsible for all the suicide bomb attacks against Israelis.
11. Nour- the Arabs rejected the partition and started a war
Dani ,   Tel Aviv   (01.23.11)
So you get zip.
12. Erekat: Zubi gadol for you.
ROSENVALD ,   BRASIL   (01.23.11)
Erekat: Zubi gadol for you.
13. Nour - Under the partition plan Jerusalem is 100% Israeli
Eric ,   Tel Aviv & NY   (01.23.11)
Nour, have you even looked at the partition plan you are proposing - and every Arab leader has refused? Under 181 Jerusalem would be Israel based on referendum (had and has majority population). The Palestinians would get a patchwork of non-contiguous land. Please read the documents you are trying to cite or refer too.
14. If he wants the borders created in '67 then give them to him
Eric ,   Tel Aviv & NY   (01.23.11)
Since the only borders defined in 1967 are the armistice line between Israel and Jordan - the Palestinians are more than welcome to them. What they have been pretending is the '67 line is the 1948 armistice line between Israel and Jordan. But since they can not even be honest about what they are asking for I say give them what they requested: the line at the end of the war between Israel and Jordan. As per 242 Israel keeps our side, Jordan keeps their side, and there is nothing left to create a Palestinian state out of except Gaza. And good luck to the PA in creating a state there.
15. Israeli citizens to Erekat: No partial peace either
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (01.23.11)
More blah blah blah from Erekat, whose reputation in Israel is that of the big liar who created the "Jenin massacre" hoax. The Palestinians continue to think that they can have "peace" and a nation-state while they are still shooting at us. No deal, Saeb habibi. If you Palestinians continue to refuse to negotiate and continue to keep shooting at our civilians like you've been doing non-stop for the past 60 years, then you won't get your state and you won't have peace.
16. TO NOUR
David ,   HERZLIA,ISRAEL   (01.23.11)
VERY FUNNY !!, YOU WANT NOW WHAT YOU DID NOT ACCEPT IN 1947 !!, VERY FUNNY !!!, YOU GUYS PLAYED POKER, YOU BET AND YOU LOST. SORRY NO 1947, MAYBE 1967 WITH SOME CHANGES
17. TO SALMA,
DAVID ,   HERZLIA,ISRAEL   (01.23.11)
LIBERMAN IS AS CRAZY AS YOUR ABBAS AND EREKAT. NOBODY WILL GET EXACTLY WANT HE WANTS. 2 STATES IS THE SOLUTION
18. The end of the Oslo accords are thankfully near!
michael redbourn ,   arad israel   (01.23.11)
The declaration of a Palestinian state will mean the scrapping of the Oslo accords. And most Israelis would like nothing better than to correct that horrible mistake. Michael
19. Rational people who truly wish to bring about an...
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (01.23.11)
...accommodation of peaceful coexistence between Arab and Jew, between the Muslim-Arab world, local and regional, and the nation-state of the Jewish people, Israel, must keep at least two important elements in mind: (A) The basis for any peaceful accommodation must continue to be UN Security Council Resolution 242. (B) The contour for peaceful accommodation as drawn by the Prince of Peace, the late Mr. Yitzhaq Rabin. UN Security Council Resolution 242 does not call for the setting up of an additional state in the region, nor does it even make reference to concepts such as "Palestinians" or a "Palestinian state". Rabin, eager to achieve a realistic peaceful accommodation went over and beyond 242 to and proposed that a future Palestinian state will not be a regular one in that it will be demilitarized, its airspace will be controlled by Israel as will its border passes - land sea and air. He expected Jerusalem to remain united under Israeli sovereignty and assumed the major settlement blocs will be incorporated into sovereign Israel, as will the Jordan Valley in the widest sense of the term. Rabin was a pragmatic man of peace. We should keep his thoughts in mind within the context of UN Security Council Resolution, 242, AS IS.
20. #7 - you don't like Lieberman because he tells the truth!
michael redbourn ,   arad israel   (01.23.11)
Sadly you are not used to the truth and subsequently can't recognise it when it's starting you in the face. Lieberman has a good chance of becoming Israel's next PM. It will mean: End of kassams and all other rocket attacks almost immediately. End of kidnap attempts. No more supplying Gaza with anything. The list of good things (for Israel) goes on and on. Lieberman = deterrence ;-) Michael
21. To Brian Cohen 15
Gregg ,   Haifa, IL   (01.23.11)
Israeli citizens??? I demand you not to speak in everybody's name... There are some decent people here who support the State of Palestine, and you should consider this as a matter of fact
22. Palestinians prove again no desire for peace
ezer   (01.23.11)
Here we are again, Palestinians are offered a state and turn it down. Lieberman's plan makes perfect sense except for one thing, Jordan is Palestine and should be party to the creation of Palestine on Jordanian lands.
23. Lieberman is consistent in his views.
(01.23.11)
24. Lieberman and his UN General Assembly speech
Anna   (01.23.11)
Mr. Lieberman is following his plan which he introduced last fall : "exchange of populated territory". His plan has two stages. But what else do we know about his plan? Even this idea won't bring major economical expenses and quiet logical Arabs don't like it. They just want it ALL. They prefer to keep their population living in misery. Let them draw their own plan and seat and negotiate. But then again, Hamas will never agree. Can you negotiate with the two heads of the same future state divided in two parts without any contiguity? Why Egypt rejects Gaza?
25. to # 20
fad egypt   (01.23.11)
i dont know how you still support lieberman while he advocates a temperory pa state which will be like oslo in which israel will be forced to give up half of judea and samaria without any peace agreement and in the future it will be forced to negotiate on the rest and on jerusalem
26. State rejected AGAIN
dan ,   titusville, FL   (01.23.11)
By my count Palestinians have rejected a state TEN TIMES now. Enough. It is tie t take full possession of the West Bank and end this crap. The Palestinians already have Gaza and Jordan.
27. #20 Liberman is your next PM !
Salma ,   Palestine   (01.23.11)
Michael , from your mouth to heaven's door, but make sure after black clouds, clear weather......that's exactly what we need , not evasive man ; )
28. #21 Hi Gregg , how are you ?
Salma ,   Palestine   (01.23.11)
it's nice to see you post here . do you wanna be my friend? do ya think you can? hope yes ; )
29. #21 Supporting Palestine.
Eli   (01.23.11)
You can support it, your're not going to see it.
30. to#9
Jennie ,   US/Israel   (01.23.11)
The more dangerous to you the Lieberman plan is, the more it is proof to us that Lieberman is right and his plan is the best plan for the security of Israel and peace in the ME.... OK, fad ?
