"...There is only one Daniel Macher and Ricardo Macher." Split personality? :-))
62. 60, Rami, big difference
Judah ,   Golan Heights,ISRAEL   (03.04.11)
In Israel you are able to go to your church in Nazareth without anyone harming you. In Iraq, Iran Gaza and Egypt you risk being killed.

Boycott racist, anti-Semitic, xenophobic rabbis! And if you wonder why they are anti-Semitic, remember what the Torah tells us about loving our neighbour and respecting the stranger that lives with us. This rabbi and many others - like Shlomo Aviner who called the guilty sentence for rape of former President Katzav, a 'gentile sentence', because one ot the judges was an Arab Israeli citizen - are operating in contradiction to the teachings of our faith. They betray it. They are true 'Mosers' and the best we should do is shun them all.
66. #60 Rami - How dare you mention racism
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (03.04.11)
Look at your Koran and how it teaches you how to treat Dhimmi's If you believe in your own Koran, and follow the rules like a good Muslim, You’re guilty of a very extreme form of racism yourself, along with the rest of your fellow believers http://archive.frontpagemag.com/readArticle.aspx?ARTID=20902 Look at the many countries that you’re in conflict with and the casualty & death rates that are the outcome of your trying impose your beliefs on those that don't want them www.thereligionofpeace.com
67. to 66 Rami (60) is not a muslim
ygalg ,   israel   (03.05.11)
read carefully: "No difference from their counterparts on the muslim side" he blames Jews and muslims together.
68. Pitiful Rosen
Devorah   (03.05.11)
If this is all he has to do with his time, he is a prisoner of his own life. I would be willing to bet that Rosen has never allowed himself to be in love, I mean deep, trusting, passionate love, without having to check the rules first. Wilf's husband left his home in Germany to be in Israel with her, and who is to say he won't convert? Rosen shot off his mouth with his pen, apparently without taking this consideration. You who call her stupid, and you who speak of Nazis in relation to this man are the stupid ones. You will end up old and callous like Rosen and, also like Rosen, you will probably revel in your sense of false superiority. I pity you, too.

Ben Gurion and Herzl were atheists. Ben Gurion also believed that all those who served in the IDF had the right to consider themselves part of the Jewish people. It is possible to be part of the Jewish people without practicing the Jewish religion. The Jewish identity is not exclusively religious, it can also be a cultural or a national one. 40% of Israeli Jews are atheists. For these people, being Jewish is a national identity, not a religious one. I don',t understand why some people refuse to acknowledge that.
70. What does the Bible say?
David ,   Perth, Australia   (03.05.11)
Is the tradition that you inherit you jewry via your mother Biblical? This question popped up in my mind when I was reading genesis, Joseph, Judah take wives that are gentile. please excuse any ignorance.
71. 70 David, Perth, Australia: In the Hebraic Roots Version
Rivkah   (03.05.11)
Scriptures, Ezra chapter 10, verses 10,11 it says, "And Ezra the cohen stood up, and said unto them: ' You have broken faith, and have married foreign women, to increase the guilt of Yisra'el. Now therefore make confession unto YHWH, the Elohim of your fathers, and do His pleasure; and separate yourselves from the peoples of the land, and from the foreign women.' "
72. Thank you Rivkah

74. Shortage of marriageable Jewish boys..
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (03.05.11)
is due to individualistic education of the younger generation.WhileJewish girls dream of an engagement ring.Jewish boys in love, can very well get along without marriage. This doesn t help for a growing Jewish population in Israel. Thanks G-D everything is not lost. The Haredi are giving a helping hand ,or whatever. I hope from the deepest of my heart, that at the proper time, secular fine people -instead of having contempt for leather straps and keeping Shabat-will appreciate the devotion ,the generosity, the energy, the limitless love parents need to educate dozens of children. Secular and orthodoxe complete each other. If there is not love,at least respect each other.

Sagi   (03.05.11)
I have pointed out before, many times, that Rami is a Christian who loves this country just as you and I do. Rami has served his country in uniform and is proud of the fact. You are too quick to jump the gun.
77. Education
Paul ,   London England   (03.05.11)
" but how can an MK ,whose husband is non-Jewish and has not converted, be the chairman of the Education Committee?" Perhaps because education is the antithesis of religious bigotry?

79. 72 David, Perth, Australia: The separation is from those
Rivkah   (03.05.11)
who are not Jews in their hearts, who do not convert or have the Torah written on their hearts. That is what makes a person foreign or strange and not a Jew: the Torah is not written on their hearts and they do not obey YHWH's Commandments as a lifestyle.
80. #20 maybe she could not fine one!
Rahel   (03.05.11)
maybe she looked and could not find one- reading this and the TBs- makes me wonder where the sensible, good, kind, 1000% Jewish men are hiding-. If the rabbi is any indication- Jewish women will have to look elsewhere- .
81. #7 & #17
Carla ,   NYC   (03.05.11)
Please do tell us why we have Jews all over our Government here in US, if a Jew married to a non-Jew in Israel should be shunned. You are so racist and illogical and yet expect the ROW to consider Israel a 'Democracy'.
82. Sad!
David ,   America   (03.06.11)
It is very sad to see how few in the Land of the Torah, either disbelieve, disobey, try to explain away by saying we now live in 2011, it is no longer applicable to us. I am speaking of Torah Sh'bi'Khtav, not Trah Sh'b'al Peh. HASHEM does not change, neither does His Word, His Torah! It is for this reason that Israel suffers. Oh! that we could have another David on the Throne of Israel and a people who would Sh'ma!
83. #20
David ,   America   (03.06.11)
#47 should be dealt with according to D'varim 13 and 18. He would lead you away from HaShem and cause you to follow other Eloheim. It is better to be single and be Kadosh!
84. I disagree with the Rabbi
Dan the Jafa ,   Auckland,New Zealand   (03.06.11)
But can we claim freedom of speech if we deny him the right to express his opinion? Or is freedom of speech reserved only for those we happen to agree with? Make up your mind.
85. didn't Mordecai encourage hadasa to take a gentile king?
ygalg ,   israel   (03.06.11)
was not Samson took a gentile woman? was not Solomon lived with gentile women? god did not say to him do not take gentile women. god told him not to increase with number of women in general. regardless gentile or Jewess. for a rabbi to comment in opposite to the bible he believes to be true. he act in contradiction to it. it seems on this account koran was right about Jews falsify Torah's words
86. 85Gentile women kept Jewish laws
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (03.06.11)
when they married Jews in the time of the Tora. Rabbis are allowed to adapt rules ,when circonstances ask for it.
87. #85
David ,   America   (03.06.11)
There is some question whether or not the king Hadassah married had Yhudi blood. Shamson found out what the fruit of his unrighteous marriage would be. It cost him dearly.
