No matter how much he disagrees with his orders they carry them out especially in a combat unit. Soldiers are not supposed to think for themselves, they are supposed to follow orders even ones they don't agree with. Once soldiers start picking and choosing which order to carry out then we start loosing wars and we come a step closer to civil war. If this sort of thing isn't brought under control the next country in the region to descend into chaos will be Israel. What the arabs couldn't do the IDF could ,, destroy the country. I have no respect for soldiers that go AWOL because they don't like their orders or threaten mutiny mutiny. On the other hand its not the job of a soldier to evacuate and destroy settlements. If the government wants to do that then they should hire professionals. If a civilian contractor has a problem with what he is being asked to do as he is not under orders he can choose to walk away nobody will be in any trouble for it.
