there are plnety of articles out there all over regarding effect of Japan disaster on sushi, cars, whatnot. I don't hear criticism against anyone else though! you're right Ynet, don't cave in to the anti-israel crowd!

Don't compare Palestine to Israel- Let Palestine figure out what its next step is before contributing to Japan because we can't supply aid to other countries when we don't produce it. Israel however, has plenty of aid, and is the most powerful nation in the world. It might have offered help, but did it really? That still doesn't mean cry about sushi shortage.

We in the United States feel your pain about the sushi & sashimi shortage. There is nothing like a California Roll or some nice raw tuna after a day of high-tech work. However, it is possible to adopt a Depression era mentality for a second, and to identify replacement foods so we can still eat sushi. Maybe it will end up being more like Dolmades, stuffed grape leaves. Meanwhile, please know that many Americans are in the same boat. Speaking of boats, I like the sushi restaurants that use boats to float the sushi dishes around. Plus, there's always Dim Sum. Do Not Despair.
