Barghouti is a condemned murderer, but he is a human being. Even people on death row have access to books, information, culture. Prisoners may come to regret what they did after learning of their victims and I am sure Amos Oz's intentions were purely humanitarian. I applaud Amos Oz and think those who hate Amos' gesture are a bizayon.

Oz is a reason of proud for all of us Israelis. A peaceful, talented man that will soon be awarded the Nobel Prize. A decent Israeli that understands the conflict and the reasons for peace. He is the essence of Zionism and all we should thank him for this elegant gesture. Kol ha-Kavod, Oz, you are a real mensh, a person with dignity and love in your heart.
