First and foremost, Israel should end all negotiations, in the future, with the Pales, until certain red lines are met, beginning with a cessation of the rocket attacks. Secondly Hamas must recognize Israel openly as a sovereign country (Jewish). If Abbas pleads for the states creation this summer, Israel should guard its positions with its arsenal of weaponry.. It can test its lasers, Iron Dome, Patriots, etc. W/O UN enforcement, all the declarations are worthless. Israel will have to accept the reality by acting as one nation, declaring marshal law, and calling up some reservists. Abbas is gambling, with the M.E. still exploding. This is not over with. Locally, Arab MKs or anyone who sides with its enemies, must be expelled. Iron Dome is fine to a point. But hitting the Pales hard, much harder, is the key to this. Collateral damage? F15 and Apache Helicopter strikes are okay. 3 out of 4 missiles were shot down by Iron Domes missiles. What if thousands were fired into Israel? Offense is the best defense in this war. Actually the Geneva Convention says the EXACT OPPOSITE. Targeting of civilians is a war-crime. Firing from within protected areas removes the protected status of that area. Yes returning fire is LEGAL, in fact it is specifically allowed under international laws.

At least this situation is a good opportunity to put Iron Dome to the test.

Instead of complaining about Israeli retaliation, how about demanding that Hamas stop firing upon Israeli civilians from within the arab civilian population. If Hamas stops firing at Israel then Israel will not fire upon Gaza and if Hamas at least does not fire from within populated areas, then the retaliation will not kill the very civilians that stand by complacently and let them fire upon Israeli children
