The timing of this was very bad but will be very popular move inside Israel. Israel should have waited at least until after the signing of the agreement, instead of using it to try and stop the signing. They scrounge so much from the world every year they really don't need $88 million in tax money. Obama in his first year already gave the palestinians nearly $1 billion extra as a bonus that Congress had not already budgeted for and thats just an American bonus. Over the past two years the world has donated around $7 billion cash in hand to the palestinians. That doesn't even include the money thats donated to fund specific projects. Israel should keep the $88 million and use it to cover the costs of all the defense projects it has had to invest millions in to protect from the palestinians.

I have always wondered why we never handed responsibility for the palestinian electricity over to Egypt decades ago. Begin should have made it part of the treaty with Egypt.... if Egypt wouldn't take the Gaza dump off our hands the least they could do is take over responsibility for the electricity. We have electricity needs and if we can't generate enough with the resources we have then the only solution is to build more power stations and the cost for which are past onto Israelis through higher bills. Stop supplying five million palestinians and we will need fewer power stations.

I don't know how much the R&D cost to develop IRON DOME or the manufacturing costs but I hear each missile cost $70,000. This should come directly out of the PA funds. If FATAH rejoins with HAMAS after all that HAMAS has done to FATAH and Israel then they deserve to forfeit the money and help pay to counter the GAZA terrorists.
