61. It's all useless unless
Samuel Prime ,   Canada   (05.01.11)
Hamas recognizes Israel's right to exist as a sovereign nation and completely change it's racist charter.
62. #57 We've listened to Hamas
Cynthia ,   USA   (05.01.11)
Hamas communicates with kassams, bombs and martyrs with murderous intent. Have never heard a word resembling peace from Hamas. That's not their message and frankly, Fatah is not much different. Nor have Palestinians been seen taking to the streets demanding peace with Israel. We no longer need to listen to fake peace talks or Palestinian leaders who lie through their teeth. Why not begin with a real hudna? Let's say 12 months. No threats, no terror, no weapons smuggling. No interference from Iran, Hezbollah, Muslim Brotherhood or other pesty terror groups. The Palestinians and Israelis live independently yet side by side and conduct business as neighbors to coexist. Following this hudna, the on-going relationship and end of conflict is reassessed. As a good neighbor gesture and to show commitment, Gilad Shalit is released.

65. My point is
Matt   (05.02.11)
That every time the Sunni have confronted the Shiites on an issue say Lebanon, Iraq you lose. So keep going but you will lose the whole Palestinian cause to the Shia. So I already have plans to speak to Tehran.
66. NO 62 & 63
Dr K M ,   GAZA   (05.02.11)
POLITICS is amazing and strange world, as you know politics deals with interests, there is no permanant enemy as well as no permenant friend. go back and see how fatah had the ability to convence the world about its seriousness towards peace. this step was accompanied by all the world support and by a broad spectrum of israelis until the dramatic change when itshaq rabin was assinated, the coming israeli leaders became histant and fraid of the same fate and disteny of Rabin. what i am going to say is no solid attitude in politics; politics is changable and accompanied by unexpected events. look about Mr LIBERMAN before and after being as a minster, there is a change in his speech , it is not that change but still. hamas before were not talking about the 1967 border, if hamas is offered a good deal i guess it is the front that you can rely on, simply becauseit is the strongest among the palestinians. give hamas the acceptance of state on the 1967 land and i am sure we can conclude a genuine peace treaty that last for ever as neighbours , friends or what ever you want. this is not my opinion, it is the attitude of all palestinians. i dream the day will come and say for bloodshed go with one way ticket.
67. Doesn't have anything to do with Israel.
Ypip ,   Canada   (05.02.11)

john Darren ,   cairns-Australia   (05.02.11)
Where does Israel "colonize" and how can you be a settler in your own country. The Pallies"(Arabs) are the squatters in Israel you ignorant moron.
69. Cheap con man AlMasri knows borders, recognition inseparable
Dr. L. Brnd ,   San Diego, USA   (05.02.11)
He is trying to pull the wool over everybody's eyes by falsely claiming Hamas will agree to accept the so-called 1967 borders. Hamas thinks they can do this but not recognize the legitimacy, rights and independence of the country on the other side - the Jewish State of Israel. Of course that is nonsense, and has never happened once in the history of the world, as Al-Masri knows. Hamas wants peace and recognized biorders for themselves but not for Israel. That Al-Masri even tries to promote this fraudulent idea, while conveniently sidestepping Hamas' repeated rejection of Israel's right to exist, reflects importantly on his appalling lack of basic honestry and personal integrity. The guy is nothing but a cheap con artist. Why would you want to do business with a sleaze like this??
70. #51 Salma, you shouldn't talk
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (05.02.11)
You've been banging the war drums for as long as I can remember
71. more than 67 ?
trevor ,   US   (05.02.11)
Bibi offered talks without preconditions so I would think final status of Haifa, Ashkelon etc would be discussed - no "precondition" that they are part of Israel .. after all Pals were 2/3 (populaof disputed region in 47, why should they get 67 borders ie only 22% of Palestine ?
72. re: palestinian maasri a billionaire?
joel ,   usa   (05.02.11)
mr maasri is a billionaire but cannot & will not support feed those poor palestinians in gaza which gets support for their food & medicine from the USA; this is a kind of attitiudes of muslim palestinians that you will never trust, or engage in any business!
73. Trevor 71
Zio ,   Gibraltar   (05.04.11)
I'm sure your post is not serious, but in case it is............Your Haifa point - ridiculously infantile, not worth addressing. Your second point. It seems that only in Israel does time stand still, and if you are Israel's enemy you can't lose! Actually the Arabs living in Palestine outnumbered the Jews in 1947. The "Pals" already have more than 22% of Palestine they have 80% and it's called Jordan. Why should they get 67 borders indeed? Why should they get anything more than they already have? In case you haven't noticed your friends have already lost three major wars trying to destroy Israel. They should feel lucky that Israel is willing even to talk to them!
