32. Amr Moussa? No.1 enemy of Israel
Nora Tel Aviv   (05.10.11)
He stays the most dangerous anti-Israel inciter since the Arab Ligue was formed. His ways are being only lately imitated by Fatah and nowadays by Hamas. For Israel, drinking from his wine is accepting to drink venom.
33. No. 31 Danny
NYC Girl   (05.10.11)
It isn't quite clear from your comment whether you're agreeing with Amr Mousa. But, if that's the case, you happen to be mistaken. Because not only the U.S., but the European Union has classified Hamas as a terrorist organization.
34. Amr Moussa the Peanit-brained
macktheknife   (05.10.11)
headcase. Another useless arab idiot living out of the pockets of the other nutcases, bzw. Iran! Both Amr and Jimmy (Carter) should get together. I can just picture them walking down the street hand-in-hand lol!
35. Not a terrorist organization?
Trevor ,   Modiin, Israel   (05.10.11)
Is aiming at and firing upon a school bus with an anti-tank missile not considered an act of terrorism these days, or is it simply because Jews are the targets?
36. Egypt / Amr Moussa
Alex ,   NYC   (05.10.11)
Amr Moussa was always part of the establishment in Egypt. Now he's using his anti-Israel rhetoric to catapult to the leadership role in Egypt. This plays well with the angry cro wds and hateful lower middle class. Apparently it takes a recent war to persuade many in Egypt that peace is good.
37. Mousa
Jorge ,   Israel/USA/Argentina   (05.10.11)
If hamas is not a terrorist, why do they murder innocent civilians? Why do the bomb Israel? You guys have the wrong idea about Israel. If Israel was a State in 1920 the Holocaust could be avoided or less bloody. Your comments are not peace related. If Egypt goes on war because all blaming to Israel, do not beg for the Sinai back Loser
38. Terrorists
Steve ,   Philadelphia,pa   (05.10.11)
They wear masks because there's a terrorist organization eager to murder anyone who defends Palestine from terror.
39. So true! Murder is not a stigma in the Arab world
Steven Gilbert ,   Teaneck   (05.10.11)
However, nice of Mr. Amr to agree w/ Israel and the US that Hamas IS a terrorist entity. Now if the media and the press can only get their terms right instead of referring to them as militants or activists. Call them what they are - Terrorists!
40. Hamas Is Not A Terrorist Group
Bill Foonman ,   Jacksonville, USA   (05.10.11)
And bin Laden isn't in Pakistan. Iran isn't working on nuclear weapons and Islam really is a "Religion of Peace." Just more predictable Taqiyah from those who cannot be believed.
41. amr mousea Question
Wondering   (05.10.11)
If hamas isn't a Terrorist Organization, then what would you call people from one country TRYING TO KILL and DISPLACE persons from another country? Are they a Glee club? amr what do you think? Just Wondering?
42. Arab League
Bart ,   Perth west Australia   (05.10.11)
Is not the Arab League sued for millions of dollars for financially supporting the terrorist organization Hamas on behalf of the victims?
43. Hamas not terrorist group and the Pope is not Catholic!
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (05.10.11)
Amr Moussa is talking like Mickey Mousa! In his delusional mind Hamas would have appointed Mother Theresa as its President and Ahmadinejad is immigrating to Israel! Some people just talk nonsense and he is one! His stupidity is confirmed by his desire to be President of Egypt like the Muslim Brotherhood would let him.
44. Hamas
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (05.10.11)
The United States, the European Union, Canada, Japan, Oceania and Israel all consider Hamas to be a terrorist organization. Amr Moussa would do very well to keep that in mind, as Egypt depends greatly upon the foregoing nations to keep it afloat. Whatever will Egypt do were any of these countries to pull their massive quantities of aid? Who will pick up the slack? Particularly in light of the fact that no country in the world really wants to risk incurring the wrath of the United States, Canada, the European Union and others. Economic sanctions are a powerful thing. I don't see even renegade states such as Turkey risking the imposition of sanctions -- even if Turkey could actually afford to fund Egypt, which it can't -- but, more importantly, I don't see Russia and China risking their most-favored-nation trading status with the United States, Canada and the European Union. Amr Moussa is painting himself into a corner just to tell the Egyptian electorate what it wants to hear. Stupid move .... Egypt had a little over thirty years of not having to learn lessons the hard way. That appears to be over.
45. Disarm, Renounce and Demonstrate
emanon ,   USA   (05.10.11)
If hamas is not a terrorist group, then they need to 1) Disarm and allow inspections they are no longer armed, 2) Renounce their charter to destroy Israel and other non-muslim entities and 3) Demonstrate their peaceful intentions by switching to a peace based economy by becoming an agrarian nation, building true trade relationships outside the arab world and creating an infrastructure where both sexes receive quality education in twenty-first century skills.
46. To: No. 3
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (05.10.11)
The two organizations to which you refer were freedom fighters who targeted the British mandatory government. Hamas targets exclusively Israeli civilians. Therein the difference between freedom fighters and terrorists. Hamas is a terrorist organization, although being a knee-jerk hater of Jews and the State of Israel, I suppose the distinction is lost on you.
47. "Hamas not a terror group"
Nick Sporek ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (05.10.11)
I'm glad they finally cleared that up because I was a bit confused. What exactly is a "terror" group then? Because if the Hamas isn't one, who the hell is?
48. how long before Al Quaida is no longer considered terrorists
zionist forever   (05.10.11)
Obama is writing off a $1 billion Egyptian debt. Giving $150 million as a present to make up for the lost tourism ( something unheard of before ) Promising US investment in Egypt and offering new loan guarantees. Good deal for a government that goes around breaking treaties and says that groups on the official US terrorist groups the favorite for the Egyptian presidency is saying are are not terrorists. I am waiting for the announcement that Al Quaida is not a terrorist group and Bin Laden was a good man who preached peace and love to all mankind.
49. Hamas is not a terrorist organization
M .Gerald Fried ,   Skokie, Illinois US   (05.10.11)
Isn't it time to dispute idiot statements by fitter president of Egypt? Hamas is not only a terrorists organization but radical Islamic organization. Why do we let every crack pot politician try to rehabilitate a known terrorists organization. Hamas should be place on trial for terror attacks against Israel civilians, which caused death and destruction in Israel . Maybe these insane organizations would think twice if they knew there would be world condemnation for there acts. Let's ask the free world how many governments would tolerate 10,000. Missiles Into there cities an for how long? Arabs are only people that want respect for their religion why they give none to other religions. They Arab society in last 50 years have contributed zero to betterment of mankind. To quote them why do we need them at all?For president of US to say let's wait to see what Hamas says is Insane. He must not be able to read there prior statements.
50. I guess we made a mistake
Sagi   (05.10.11)
in 1967 when Nasser amassed 200000 troops in Sinai and closed the Tiran Straits. We should have invited him in for afternoon tea and muffins and settled the score with him on the veranda. Are we making the same mistake again with Hamas. They are very good and reasonable people after all, they do not make threats and they are very aware of human rights, they abhor kidnapping and such behaviour, in fact they are the epitome of decency. Let's have them at The King David for a luncheon and I sure all will be settled amicably in no time.
51. HEY MOUSSA,THE NAME HAMAS MEANS VIOLENCE.MOUSSA,YOU HAVE TO
GLENN ,   YUCAIPA,USA   (05.10.11)
BE THE MOST STUPIDEST EDOMITE(ARAB)THE WORLD HAS KNOWN
52. Hamas = terror, Hizbolla = terror
Beary White ,   Norway   (05.10.11)
don't make me laugh. But, be aware, even the norwegian leftist government is just on the brink of also accepting hamas as their partner. An organization who has tortured a soldier for many years. So, I must use strong words and say : Fu.. hamas, ..ck Hisbolla!!
53. Arab peace initiative -Jews must BECOME Arabs
CK Tan ,   Singapore, Singapore   (05.10.11)
In 2006, ex Saudi Arabia diplomat to the US explained EXPLICITLY what the API is really about : - the INTEGRATION of Israel INTO the ARAB geographical entity" so that "(Arabs) will start thinking of Israelis as ARAB JEWS rather than simply as Israelis." (my EMPHASIS) In other words, Jews will LOSE their very OWN identity. What's more, the API is a insidious SCAM by the Arabs to CIRCUMVENT all their obligations under UNSC 242.
54. #30 Their faces are blurred
dshap ,   Miami USA   (05.10.11)
in photos because a responsible press corp does not want to expose them to additional dangers beyond those while operating missions. This is necessary because a right, just, and moral IDF does not hide behind masks, or use women and children as human shields as do your Arab terrorist brethren. Aren't you glad you asked?
55. #47 Nick arab league, Runs Ruff Shot
Wondering   (05.10.11)
for the worlds terrorists, iran, lebanon, syria, yemen, iraq, hizbullah, hamas, al-queda, taliban. Have I left anybody out? Oops I almost forgot eygpt, typical arabs change things back for the worst, not moving forward But BACKWARDS like eygpt Never Heard Of Hashem, Yea Right? Well Nick I hope this helps a bit. What Do you think? Just Wondering?
56. Hamas is a non-terrorist org. which fires laser-guided
Moshe ,   Haifa, Israel   (05.10.11)
missiles into yellow children school buses.
57. What do you expect?
Ram ,   London   (05.10.11)
The PA embraces Hamas and Clinton immediately declares that aid to the PA will not stop, even though it considers Hamas a terrorist organisation. The EU sends financial aid without any declaration on the situation. Both the US and EU are putting pressure on Israel to enter "peace talks" with the "palestinians", even though they refuse to recognize Israel, with the threat they will recognize a new "palestinian" state in September if Israel does not make progress in the peace talks. Are we surprised why the "palestinians" feel safe to say whatever crosses their minds, regardless of how outrageous it may be?
58. "Hamas as terrorists...pertains to minority of countries"
William ,   Israel   (05.10.11)
Well, the US and EU together hold some pretty heavy weight in the world. Who cares if Chavez considers Hamas as virtuous? Nobody really cares about the Arab position since they not only bred Bin Laden but celebrated his massive war crimes. On that logic, human and women's rights are also in the minority, mostly in the West, while in many cultures especially Arab, oppression of women and other ethnic groups is not only rampant but welcomed in their culture. Yet - it is not acceptable.
59. "Hamas is not a terrorist group"
William ,   Israel   (05.10.11)
Really? They use terrorism against a civilian population. They exist mainly to destroy a sovereign nation and one ethnic group (the majority) of its population. That IS the exact definition of "terrorist"! Hamas, like Ghaddafi, could erase its stigma if it renounced terror and relegated itself to a humanitarian group, non-violent, that coexisted with Israel. But they refuse to - so the stigma stays, as it should. Humanitarian groups usually don't throw people off of buildings or shoot anti-tank missiles at school buses.
60. I SEE THE SPOTS, THE TAIL, THE TEETH, BUT I SWEAR TO YOU IT
Ahmad Cohen Ibn ,   Mousa HaLevy   (05.10.11)
is only cute little fuzzy baby sheep. Come play with it. It won't harm you. And anyway it hasn't eaten in three weeks.
