31. As a Palestinian : Death to baby Killer
NadMan ,   Palestine   (06.10.11)
We refuse killing children, we refuse what this guy did, and the Palestinian Government refuse that, But Let's remember that Israeli Government Adopt killing children like in Gaza 08-09 and the israeli accepts that and celebrates over children blood ... so Death to children Killers ...
32. 25 - 'assisted' by their religion.
split ,   US   (06.10.11)
Obviously ;) Any idea where the "An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth" came from ? ,...
33. Gregg, Haifa, IL
Elizabeth   (06.10.11)
NO NO NO and NO to Death Penalty. do to the arab killers what was done to Mussolini.... string the bastards up high and leave them there until they rot!
34. Pass a law that penalizes any Israeli that
jason white ,   afula, israel   (06.10.11)
frees a terrorist murderer, to get the death penalty instead. Even the unelected president or a board of judges. As for scum like this, execute their immediate families in front of them and let them sit for 5 years in prison and then be executed. Also destroy their family homes and those of their clan. Turn off the water and electricity to their village and put a 24/7 curfew there for 6 months. Or raze the village and build a Jewish village instead.
35. no death penalty
Karina ,   Finland   (06.10.11)
send them to Siberia...they deserve long term suffering! Death is too easy.
36. You have no right to judge him
Ahmed ,   Palestine   (06.10.11)
Although am against killing in general, and that way of killing children, BUT the question is What the hell the people of ITMAR and all settellements Doing in OUR LAND ??? they exposed their self to this actions, they are occupying our lands so they are Terrorites, so dont blame the Reaction But Blame the Action, Otherwise we will keep in this circule of killing .... GO OUT OF MY LAND !!!!
37. We need no new laws
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (06.10.11)
Our laws call for the death penalty for war-crimes. Terrorism is a war-crime - at least according to the UN. Hence we just need to use the laws we have and go ahead and execute every single terrorist we already have and convicted.

solomon ,   bklyn   (06.10.11)
Yes, from the Bible. However: 1. It is not taken literally, as explained in many passages of the Bible as well as commentaries up to and including modern times. 2. The phrase implies a reaction to a first event, a murder. It is the arabs that began this long string, way before the founding of modern Israel. It is the Israelis who are responding and by accepting the meaning I quoted above, even though the arabs keep on killing. You have it backwards. As usual.
39. NO to the Death Penalty
Andrew Brehm   (06.10.11)
It's a matter of principle. And it's also a matter of remaining a country which does absolutely everything the international claim to want a country to do. We must not move because of what terrorists do and we must not because because of what the international left does. The Zionist dream must survive and one part of that dream is the secular, progressive state. We must be against the death penalty not because we are better than the terrorists but because we are better than the Europeans who demonise us for everything we do.
40. Re #31
Andrew Brehm   (06.10.11)
Palestinians have never refused to kill children. Palestinian terrorists consistently target children; schools, school busses, cinemas, kindergardens, anything that kills children has always been fine with Palestinians. So don't even think you can lecture us about Palestinian love for children. Israel killed terrorists in Gaza, not children. Gaza terrorists killed children by using them as human shields. Palestinian terrorists have as little love for Arab children as they have for Jewish children.
41. Omitted facts ,...
split ,   US   (06.10.11)
That Fogels were settlers living on stolen land and that Abu Awad’s brother, Yousef, was killed by IDF ten years earlier leaving his kids an orphans.
42. PERMANANT solitary confinement would be more punishment.
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (06.10.11)
43. # 40 PA Govt. Refuse peace, Israel Gov.t dont
NadMan ,   Palestine   (06.10.11)
be sure that the palestinian Govt. which represnts me and all palestinians since Arafat and now have always refused violence, we refuse hamas's rockets on civillians, ... but your govt. and country have been made on blood of children. don't forget what the jews mafia groups the hagganah and shtern and others did to children and women in palestine, they deftroyed complete villages and maybe where u r sitting now used to live little child died. can u give me statics on how many israeli civillian died by palestinian terrorism . but i can tell you 1500 died in gaza most children and women... what is the fault of 5 years child died in gaza ti be punished of something he did not do ??? kill who launch rockets i dont care, but its ur resposibility to protect civillians, and u know what, i think israel puch those rocket launchers to do that so it can kill more and more so it can live and live ... so you agree on killing children, if i have the chance i would kill this guy who did it in Itamar,
44. 38 - Yes, from the Bible. However:
split ,   US   (06.10.11)
1) Nope, from a Hebrew culture ,... 2) If that's the case than how come the Jews survived and prospered among Arabs and Persians for centuries before "modern" Israel and still do in some countries.
45. Death Sentance
Eli ,   USA   (06.10.11)
I would gladly perform the execution on these murders without question, I kid you not. All Terrorists should be executed.
46. Justice?
Max ,   Washington DC   (06.10.11)
Where is the Justice for the Fogel Family brutally murdered by these unrepentant killers? Putting them in jail will just result in their release for the next israeli kidnapped by terrorists. However the Death Penalty would be too kind. They should be made to feel pain and suffer each day for the rest of their natural lives.
47. we don't fear death .and do you really think they cared
sammy   (06.10.11)
about death
48. #42 Bunnie is right, permanent solitary with no medical care
Moshe ,   Usa   (06.10.11)
and no more than the minimum number of food calories per day. Give him nothing else to read, write or amuse himself. Give him no visitors. Also, make a hook at the top of his cell, give him a chair & a long belt for his pants so that he can tie it to the hook & kill himself. No one will weep at his suicide. That's what his family brought him up for. Mosh
49. Not Death - Deportation of entire "Arab Squatters"
Hinda ,   SF Bay Area   (06.10.11)
They do not value life - they teach children to hate and to kill why are they illegally on the land of Eretz Yisroel? The heck with what Scotland, Ireland or other purveyors of terrorism state - deport them - let them be matyrs for Al Queda in Saudi or other areas where life does not mean anything.
50. #43 NadMan or Madman
solomon ,   bklyn   (06.10.11)
What planet do you live on? Arabs have been trying to kill Jews from even before the modern State of Israel. Arafat produced the intifadas and sent terrorists to kill. Hamas and Hezbulloh? Same + rockets. You are against Hamas' rockets? Then you should speak out against them hiding behind women and children, speak out against Hizbulloh hiding rockets and ammunition among civilians in villages. To see the murderers, turn to your own.
51. #44 split
solomon ,   bklyn   (06.10.11)
Careful, your ignorance is showing. As usual. 1. Yes, from a Hebrew culture. It is throughout the Talmud and discussions into modern times. But you haven't looked so you wouldn't know. 2. Jews were sometimes accepted as second class citizens. Usually they weren't accepted, period. More Jews were thrown out of arab countries in 1948 than arabs who left at the request of the invading arab armies. It all began when Islam invaded in its effort to conquer the world. (Just because you ignore that fact doesn't mean that others should. The contrary.)
52. #36 Ahmed
Devorah   (06.10.11)
The issue is the murders of five innocent people, but you turned it into a land declaration, blaming the victims and threatening more murders. Ahmed, you are as demented as the murderers themselves. Since you want to talk about land, let me remind you that your ilk are poster children for why there can never be a legitimate state known as "Palestine."
53. Nadman #43: In the past fifteen years ending
Robert Haymond ,   Israel/Canada   (06.10.11)
in 2009, there have been 150 suicide attacks launched by Palestinians and 500 prevented. These statistics are from Giulio Meotti's book entitled "A New Shoah: The Untold Story of Israel's Victims of Terrorism". In it, Mr. Meotti wrote that 1,557 victims were murdered and another 17,000 injured. If this were compared and extrapolated to the USA, it would have meant 53,756 Americans killed and 664,133 injured. These figures do not include the numerous cases of people (Israelis) living with PTSD as a result. Surviving with PTSD makes us very jumpy. Within the historical context, one must also recognize that all Jews have within them the archetypal memory of the Shoah (Holocaust) so the results of terrorism and the threats of extermination make us especially vulnerable. Our responses to terrorism have, on the whole, been too muted (too "civilized") but I think you'll find, with the increasingly tough Israeli bent away from the liberal leftwing a la Ben Gurion (a nation like all other nations) that we will become more and more intractable in our responses, more and more of the mindset that Muslim terrorism cannot be eradicated except by force and, given that our backs are against the wall, as usual, we will be dealing with your people in an increasingly merciless and hardbitten way. One thing you should comprehend: We are determined to survive. Never again!
54. MAVET MAVET MAVET VE'MAVET!!!
Ester   (06.10.11)
55. If we want them to suffer we should throw them in jail for
Falafelis ,   Montreal, Canada   (06.10.11)
life. Killing them would make us no better than the arabs
56. #41 FAIL!
Devorah   (06.10.11)
You are another one blaming the victims and making the murders of innocents a land issue. Jews lost their family members in the Shoah - six million of them. But have you seen Jews running around slaughtering innocent people anywhere in the world because they have an attitude? No, you haven't because Jews are focused on building, not destroying. Jews are focused on life, not death. Too damn bad his brother was killed by the IDF. That's what happens when you get stupid.
57. Death penalty
Beary White ,   Norway   (06.10.11)
Israel can still use death penalty for terrorists, so there is no obstacle for bringing theese two terrorists the fastest way to hell, where they surely belongs after this cruel act of murder.
58. I believe, death penalty is a big mistake
Yaëlle Schlichting ,   Raubling Germany   (06.10.11)
If we just sentence them to death, we would show, that we are not as developed, as we believe to be. A society as far developed as ours, must have a better answer. Sentence them to a life term in prison. Jail them in an Israeli prison among Israeli criminals. This will be even worse. They will wish every single day, they would have received a death sentence.
59. #41 split
solomon ,   bklyn   (06.11.11)
Omitted facts... 1. The Fogels were not living on stolen land. The arabs stole the land in the 600's AD during the ARAB conquest from ARABia. Per PLO: "Palestine" is a political construct only. It began only after the '67 war. 2. The deaths of a 3 yr old and a 14 yr old are both tragic; but one might argue that the death of a 3 yr old in a crib is even more horrendous.
60. One Big Irony
Abraham ,   Earth   (06.11.11)
Those who demand a death penalty for the killers, Are not the ones who hail Dr. Goldstein and dance around he's grave ??? And, isn't it ironic.... don't you think ?
