What people forget is 242 was covered in treaties with Egypt and Jordan. The Palestinians were not part of 67 war and thus have no land to negotiate under 242.

With today's arcane US Senate rules, it takes 60 votes out of the 100 possible, not 30 or 32, to even get an issue to a vote. If brought to a vote, an issue then needs 51 to pass. Indeed, the 24th of July 1922, the League of Nations voted the "Mandate for Palestine" in an unanimous vote by all its 51 members, a vote that gave the Jews the IRREVOCABLE RIGHT to settle anywhere in the area between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River, a right unaltered in INTERNATIONAL LAW, and valid to this day, due to ARTICLE 80 of the CHARTER of the UNITED NATIONS.
