1. Fayyad should have been arrested.
Terry ,   Eilat - Israel   (06.24.11)
As a matter of fact, every participant in these riots should be arrested, left in prison for a year, & be fined to pay for our security expenses & any damage to the fence.
2. Saved the Israelis some bulldozer time.
Cape Town ,   Jonny   (06.24.11)
I am not sure I understand. The Israeli High Court gave a ruling some years ago for the removal, which, better late then never, the IDF started taking down last week. All I can see is that someone took advantage of this for a photo opportunity, and maybe saved the Israeli taxpayer some bulldozer time.
3. Good for Fayyad!
Michael ,   USA   (06.24.11)
Good for Fayyad! The fence is illegal to begin with.
4. an 'example of presidential behaviour
tiki ,   belgium   (06.24.11)
A peasant has more class & dignity than Fayyad, the "Palestinian PM. What a joke he, and the rest of his tribe is, but he can't be blamed for he rules 'without a mandate, over people who don't have a clue who they are and what they stand for. Their only common ground is their desire for the destruction of Israel. They are neiter a Religion, nor a People, nor a Nation, they never were. They are just a 'hotchpoch of lies & liars, with a very violent streak.
5. # 1
Susan ,   Tel Aviv   (06.24.11)
What about arresting Netanyahu and Lieberman....At least Fayyad is a clean person .
6. Yes end the illegal occupation
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (06.24.11)
Deport all Jordanians back to their own lands. Since Jews aren't allowed to buy land in Jordan, nor are they allowed to immigrate so their citizens on our lands need to be treated the same way.
7. Agreed. Pay Arabs to leave Judea & Samaria.
Chaim ,   Israel   (06.24.11)
Fayyad is correct but not in the way he means. The occupation of Judea and Samaria by hostile Arabs must end. This means Israel must put an end to all talk of the monstrous Two State Final Solution and prepare plans to pay Arabs to leave Judea and Samaria or to be repatriated to Jordan. Even without Israeli compensation, Arabs are leaving Judea and Samaria by the tens of thousands annually. With fair compensation, we could solve the problem in a few years.
8. #1 Terry. That is the way to deal with likes of Fayyad.
Chaim ,   Israel   (06.24.11)
#1 Terry. You are exactly correct. A self respecting Israel would deal with the likes of Fayyad exactly as you advise. However, before we see such proud and sane action, we need to get the patriotic right wing government the vast majority of Israel votes for and wants.
9. Mine the Area or Use Batons Guys
Noah Lev ,   HollywoodUSA   (06.24.11)
This is but yet another tactic to erode support for Israel worldwide, show its behavior ( fence) in a bad light, inspire the Pales, put stress on Israel's leadership, police, IDF and resources. If they succeed here, tomorrow its all along the fence. They are probing Israel, just as they did at the borders. And if the fence is removed, why was it there to begin with? Rockets have increased, but not bombings in Israel on the ground. Israel still doesnt seem to know how to stop this insurgency. Placing mines might help. Declaring the adjacent area off limits, subject to harsh treatment, another. Fayyad has no support from Hamas..and may be grandstanding? Syria to the north is telling the UN, etc., where to get off, while butchering its own and not allowing reporters. All over the Arab M.E. and Iran, mobs are revolting. Only Libyan leader Moammar is being tested by the world. Israel should credit taxes against the fence damage. Or consider any damage as theft of Israeli property. Dont arrest Fayyad, that would be playing his game. Israel needs to use batons more often on the rioters. If the reverse, would they show pity for Jews?
10. Israel wants the occupation to end - Arabs back to Arabia
Eric ,   Tel Aviv & NY   (06.24.11)
It is time that the Arabs that moved to the West Bank under the Jordanian Occupation return to where they came from.
11. What occupation, Hum !
AlbertoGA ,   St George, USA   (06.24.11)
Occupation of Israel must end now. This include all historical Jewish land... Gaza, Judea and Samaria. All the rest is just in the dream of the Utopian Arabs.
12. 'occupation' must end
moron ,   galut   (06.24.11)
pals want to go to arab palestine which is jordan?they are 'occupiers' of jewish land if there are 'occupiers'
13. Pals looking for Western sympathy
Sam ,   Canada   (06.24.11)
The Palestinians engage in these stunts not to put an end to the conflict with a Jewish Israel but to gain Western sympathy that they hope will force Israel to hand over territory while they continue with further demands. It's up to Israel to differentiate between cases that it sees as genuine hardship and Palestinian efforts to defeat Israel. The Palestinians count on the West and softhearted Jews not to be able to see the difference.
14. # 3, Chutzpah
Ari Ben Canaan   (06.24.11)
Michael USA, That comment is chutzpah coming from you. I'm willing to bet my life savings that you are not down protesting the SECURITY BARRIER that your country has with Mexico. Oh and Michael, I'm sure you are taking on the "illegality" of India's SECURITY BARRIER in "occupied" Kashmir. How about Spain's SECURITY BARRIER with Morocco? Britain "apartheid" barriers in Northern Ireland?? You don't do a good job lacing your Jew-hatred, Michael.
15. Why not build the NEW section, then tear down the old one?
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (06.24.11)
16. I agree that the occupation of Jewish lands should end from
Rivkah   (06.24.11)
the River of Egypt to the Euphrates River in Iraq and given back to the Jews. YHWH gave them the deed to that land long ago and YHWH is not a liar. He created the heavens and the earth and He gave a small part to the Jews inperpetuity, forever. Forever means forever.
17. Why aren't these folks arrested?
Rachel ,   US   (06.24.11)
18. can we use this non-violence on Arabs?
Golan ,   modiin   (06.24.11)
because if stoning people to death and throwing fire bombs on them is non-violence then is it peaceful? Is that what peace is? I prefer war. Peace: when Arabs murder Jews War: when Jews defend themselves.
19. to fayyad: terror and de- legitimation of israel must end !!
hutzpa   (06.24.11)
20. Fayyad, a common rioter...arrest him.
Spencer ,   Israel   (06.24.11)
Rioters should have been arrested and if Fayyad was one of them he too should have been. As for the bulldozer, that should have been destroyed.
21. he needed to be there more
thor   (06.24.11)
22. Nothing more to say.

24. Another Arab lie
Hellllooo ,   US   (06.24.11)
Anyone who truly understand international law KNOWS there is NO JEWISH occupation only Arab propoganda
25. tiki Belgium #4: Just to add to your
Robert Haymond ,   Israel/Canada   (06.24.11)
post, the Westbank Palestinians are divided into large, huge families or clans. They originally came from many corners of the Mideast, i.e., Yemen, Syria, Egypt, Iraq, Kurdistan, etc., as well as Turkey and Greece. There is a good deal of genetic, anthropological, cultural and geographical evidence (see TheEngagement.com) which strongly indicates that many amongst the Muslim population were (forced) converts from originally Jewish tribes. Peoples are associated with one another due to mutual history and myths. This accounts, to a large degree, for the incredibly strong bond between Jewish people and why we return to our homeland. The Palestinians have only the Nakba and now the Naksa. In essence, they are trying to invent a myth and history with symbols in order to convince themselves and others that they are one people. One rarely, if ever, hears about Arabs returning to their "homeland", however. In nearly all circumstances, they emigrate. That's because the association is fractionalized and weak. Nonetheless, challenging the concepts of the Nakba and Naksa is important.
26. Gaza Language
Ali ,   Gaza   (06.24.11)
After quick review of talkbacks, the conclusion is : Jews understsnd only one language, the language which swept the all settlments from Gaza.
27. # 1: Arrested? thats funny
Raed ,   Palestine   (06.24.11)

Mr. Obvious   (06.24.11)
sunday sunday sunday all palestinains(arabs) must go(home to (arabia)
30. I agree - the Arab occupation of Judea/Samaria and Gaza..
Alexander ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (06.24.11)
..must end immediately with immediate repatriation of the "Palestinians" to their real homelands - all verified and documented by historical records my friends - countries and regions such like: Germany, Italy, the Balkans, Bosnia, Albania, Turkey, the Tartars of central Asia/Russia, Kurds from Kurdistan, Armenians, Greeks, Egyptians, Sudanese, Algerians, Circassians and Persians - obviously "an ethnically distinct and separate homogenous group of people with a common racial, ethnic, national, cultural and religious features, traits and characteristics that have lived with a common language, culture and nationality in the land of "Palestine" since time immemorial". Too bad there aren't any "Palestinians" - too bad that "Palestine" is a ROMAN/LATIN name and that the letter "p" doesn't exist in the Arabic alphabet and too bad that nationalism is alien to Arabs, too bad that Arabs are newcomers in Israel and the Middle East and too bad that most of the "Palestinians" are neither "Palestinian" nor "Arab" nor originate in Jewish or Arab lands.
