Everytime someone demands to boycott Israel (meaning actually "Jews"), there is some reason to override it for now... like when money is to be made, or Israeli technology is needed, or when only Israeli doctors can perform a delicate, life-saving surgery, or when a terrorist attack or earthquake hits. Conversely, when any of those things occur in the world, no one calls the "Palestinians" to help. I wonder why?

I grew up in the Detroit area, my city just outside of Detroit...north of 8 mile road, was about 75% Jewish. Many were from what we called the "old country". Many had the tattoo serial numbers on their forearms. We had a great deal of respect for these guys (and their wives) who had escaped the camps and fought in the Polish resistance, killing Nazi's the entire war. Both husband and wife (both had met during the war, I remember one guy was on the Poland National Soccer team until the Germans came. I was always fascinated by their resilience. They had built successful lives here in the USA, most surprisingly...at least to me...they were not bitter. They to also built for their kids, a more successful life with college. In fact I remember if a kid didn't want to, or maybe didn't the interest or aptitude their was an excellent trade school that taught the trades, Heating and Air conditioning, Electricians, Mechanics (auto, planes, trucks etc.). The fact is every Jewish child was going to college or trade school, period. The only choice was which school, but you WERE GOING to school.
