31. Ah, Alfred
American Civilian ,   Chicago USA   (08.15.11)
Silly Christian, thinking Jews would want to join hands with you.
32. #12. "The Third Jewish Law"
Thomas ,   USA   (08.15.11)
Which was created by the Fascist Hungarian gov.ment in 1941. prohibited intermarriages, hence I was born in the Budapest ghetto just before the Russians liberated the survivors. But my parents perished. A soon as I grew up I was taken by the Bolsheviks to prison for being a "Zionist agent, a lackey of the American-Zionist bourgeois imperialism". How about you: did you take part in the Leftist flotilla with the Commies?
33. #29. Alfred: They are hopeless ...
Thomas ,   USA   (08.15.11)
When Hussein O. planning to break up Israel, pandering to the Arabs, openly shows his hostility toward Israeli - the Marxist Anglo-Jewry (not so the Eurasian Israelis) genuflecting at his feet for his Marxist-Leninist creed. The N. Y. Times, Haaretz, Jstreet etc. all stoking up hate against Israel, organizing flotillas, air-assault... The future of Israel hangs in the balance but for them the bogeyman is Glenn Beck or a poster in Germany. Not Gideon Levy, Chomsky, Soros and Hussein O. but the pro-Israeli republicans and the Christians. They cannot get over the fact that Stalin is dead, they need a new one like the Kenyan.
34. Nazis are Left Wing
James Norman ,   Richmond USA   (08.15.11)
Sure Nazis are Right of Communists, but they are far left of American politics. Far Right is no Government, Far Left is Absolute Government. Between the two exists the political spectrum. Europe thinks Nazis are far right because all of Europe near extreme far left.
35. US Democrats
TonyZ ,   NYC, USA   (08.15.11)
I'm quite amused at the outrage in Germany over such a campaign tactic. American liberals and guilty US Jews would have no problem if a lefty candidate used such allusions.
36. Is There Anything
Fred ,   surrey, UK   (08.15.11)
in politics that can't be construed as a Holocaust reference?
37. Runter vom Gas
Agav8r ,   Germany   (08.15.11)
First off, I am NOT defending the neo-Nazis. I would however like to offer an alternate meaning for the "step on gas" ad campaign instead of focusing on gas chambers. Could it be a possible reference to the billboards seen throughout Germany that say "Runter vom Gas" (lay off the gas)? They clearly have no reference to gas chambers or anything political but instead target drivers to slow down. Sounds like the neo-Nazis are ready to speed up their agenda.
38. #9
k ,   US   (08.15.11)
of course they would, that was no accident what happened in WW2, it was a Genocide There was only some opposition when it appeared Germany might lose the war, but when Germany made it a policy to rid Germany and Europe of the Jews there was almost no opposition
39. #13 The Devel is alive and well in the White House.

Hitler hijacked the National Socialist party and murdered the members who favored a socialist model of economic development ( left wing economic model ) The first people the Nazis put in concentration camps or murdered were the socialists and communists ( the left wingers ). Left wing refers to an economic model based on collective ownership of the means of production. Hitler introduced a totalitarian system based on extreme nationalism ( i.e. opposite of multiculturalism ) The means of production were never nationalised. This recent American-based idea that the Nazis were left wing is simply wrong. Its also a serious revision of history and nearly as offensive as Holocaust denial. RThe reason some people are trying to say Hitler was a left-winger are obvious. Its because thgeir own views are extreme nationalistic right wing views and Hitler is an embarrassment
41. Far-Right National Democratic Party
CoachEJK ,   Apex, NC USA   (08.15.11)
The National Democratic Party espouses a totally left wing agenda, including socialism. Yet you refer to them as right wing because they are neo-nazis. Stop trying to rewrite history. The Nazis were LEFT WING Socialists. Your characterization of a left wing ideology as right wing is typical Marxist double-speak propoganda. Study your history.
42. Stretch slogan
Theodore King ,   Claremore, OK USA   (08.15.11)
While it is understandable you would not care for the NDP in Germany, this "Step on Gas" slogan is a real stretch on your part.
43. To Alexander
Bart ,   harrington park, USA   (08.15.11)
Wake up, Alexander, it's a damn shame but the WHOLE WORLD quietly agrees with the Nazis and that's even before the Palastinian mess.
44. Right Wing/Left Wing, where is Liberty?
Gary ,   Providence, USA   (08.15.11)
If the far left is the World Socialist Worker's Party, how can the far right be the National Socialist Worker's Party? Two fingers on the same hand. The opposite of World Socialist Worker's Party, would be the Individual Sovereign Citizens Liberty Party, which does not exist. Therefore, there is no Far Right, or even a Right Wing, in any government on this earth.. There are only varying factions of Leftists/Socialists/Collectivists, looking to take "other people's money" and other people's liberty.. Communism is the Hive. Nazism is the Hive for Just Us. If the Global Collectivist Hive is the far left, Individualism is the far right. I challenge anyone to show me where Individual Liberty can be found.
45. Nazism is left-wing
Lenny1970 ,   Princeton, NJ   (08.15.11)
Nazism was communism w/ gas chambers. The left-wing media is pulling a fast one by calling Nazism “far right.” The National Socialist Party (NAZIs) was totally left-wing; much like Democrats in the U.S.A. are today, e.g., gun control; anti-Christian; anti-big business; pro-homosexual agenda; national healthcare; etc... basically, everything except the gas chambers.
46. "Gas geben" is innocuous
HomoSapiens ,   Fairport, NY   (08.15.11)
In German, signs in school zones read "Gas weg", literally "Off the gas", and correctly translated as "Slow down". Likewise, "Gas geben" translates as "Hit the gas", or idiomatically "Speed up" or "Let's go". The entire premise of this article is NONSENSE.
47. Gasssss
Stanford ,   Monterey, CA, USA   (08.15.11)
At least they don't deny the Holocaust anymore.
48. The Left is The Enemy
Miguel ,   Sacramento, USA   (08.15.11)
It's obvious that the European Left has adopted Europe's traditional Anti-Semitism, as illustrated here in this story, meaning that some few fools making their little statement is taken out of the bigger, much more hidden context and used to divert attention from the Left's real agenda, which is a monstrous Anti-Semetic agenda: a vicious anti-Israeli agenda. The world-wide MSM generally speaking is the Left's tool used to hide and divert attention from their insider destruction of all Western societies.
49. Nichts Partei Deutschland
Nathan Redshield ,   Boston, USA   (08.15.11)
Maybe the Berliner Jews are planning to vote NPD. The slogan means give gas as in hitting the gas pedal in a motorcycle; leather gear is very popular among cyclists. The local situation may look different for those living there. The founder of the NPD Adolf von Thadden came from an anti-Nazi stratum of German society (the Gestapo executed his sister); now in over 40 years the NPD may have changed its composition but I more suspect that the writer is engaging in demagogic stereotyping--sort of like assuming that All Jews are communistic Leftists who put Obama in the White House and then saying that Obama is a Jewish tool when he's the worst enemy Israel has had since Adolf Hitler..
50. Give Gas
Raul ,   Atlanta USA   (08.15.11)
You folks need to chill. A black motorcycle jacket does not equate to an SS uniform. Most if not all motorcycle jackets are black.
51. learn from history
Angie ,   Austin, tx, USA   (08.15.11)
German people! You remained silent once before..learn from history!
52. Esav hates Jacob
Shaul ben Yakov ,   Midland TX   (08.15.11)
No, Esav does not hate Jacob, nor does Jakob hate Ease--reference B'rsheit...G-d hates Ease, because he sold his birthdright for material things...learn the truth --Torah
53. True antti-Semite
Phillip Nagle ,   Wheeling, IL, USA   (08.15.11)
The same sort of propaganda is true in the US. While former Dem congress woman Cynthia McCiney was supporting every anti Israel regime and Al Sharpton, a vile anti-Semite with blood on his hand is getting his own TV show, groups like the ADL will only go after right wing nut jobs with no support.
54. Becaue They are sick of Foreiners - cant blame them
Andrew ,   Miami,FL   (08.15.11)
after WW2 - they went to sleep as they rebuilt - they now have awoke - look up - and see their whole country full of foreigners - Israel would hate the same fate - and would act the same way. Theres a reason Israel shoots afrcians who "Infiltrate"
55. Neo-nazi
Kenema ,   Youngstown, USA   (08.15.11)
Hitler gave birth to Nazism, so how does that make them far-right? Thats a far left form of government. Nazism is just to the right of Joe Stalins communism, thats all the more right wing it truly is.
56. To#11
David ,   Shiloh Israel   (08.15.11)
If you refer to nazi scums in Israel, I certainly hope that they are goyim! They certainly have no place in Israel. As for for my mention about decent Germans, they do exist, but that doesn't mean that I'm saying that the majority are that way. We have to be continually on guard.
57. To nr 14 - Thank you but no thanks. I prefer Israel.
Alexander ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (08.15.11)
I most kindly decline your generous invitation. I don't need Germany or Germans. We don't need to "prove" anything to each other. It simply enough for me to know that my paternal grandmother was in Auschwitz and most of my family on my father's side was destroyed. And these lives are taken - no amounts of "we have changed" or "we're sorry" will solve anything, because my family and relatives were murdered by the Germans. My generation needs to live with this sorrow and this consequence whereas Germany - unfortunately - still exists. Four things about me: 1) I never forget 2) I never forgive 3) I don't trust what people say 4) When and if people double cross me I usually deal with them in a not so diplomatic manner. And this applies to anti-Semites and most definitely to Nazis, Islamists, Socialists and Communists and most definitely, absolutely, totally, without question - Germans.
58. wise up, don't be a sap
spam ,   ny us   (08.15.11)
wise up, don't be a sap. Not every reference to gas in the German language is a reference to killing Jews.
59. I doubt there's any more prejudice in Germany than Israel.
fred ,   USA   (08.15.11)
60. neo-nazis
Denny Crane ,   Buffalo, USA   (08.15.11)
It amazes me that there are people who would call Nazis a "far right" group. Nazis were the German National Socialist party. They were and have always been, a far left group.
