1. disgusting
zionist forever   (09.07.11)
The IDF did not harm these people they carried out orders and damaging that equipment may affect their capability to do their job of protecting the country properly. It is also disgusting that these people were able to sneak into a military base and sabotage the vehicles. If they can get in and damage vehicles a terrorist can sneak in just as easily to kill or kidnap soldiers. I hope the IDF learn from this and tighten their defenses to stop anybody getting into a bas illegally again.
2. Withdraw IDF protection for the settlers
Haim ,   TA   (09.07.11)
The IDF should withdraw their security for the settlers. If they think they can cause damage to the IDF they are very much mistaken. This moves further isolates them from society and looses what little they had of public support in the first place. These lawless thugs should be made to pay for this.
3. Non of this is good.
Rebecca ,   Modiin   (09.07.11)
Setting up new settlements is not a great idea at the moment. I understand the Idealism, but those doing so must understand that there are two sides to the story. However, destroying them, especially they way the IDF does it, in the middle of the night, not giving people a chance to save anything, is worst. Involving the army will destroy the army from within. How many will be "held responsible" eventually? too many to make this action worth while.
4. ...someone broke into an army base ???!!!
eporue ,   euroep   (09.07.11)
...errr... umm...
5. Settler criminals.
Moshe ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (09.07.11)
More evidence of how the settlers are enemies of Israel, nothing but lawless thugs hurting Israel internationally and internally. And the dishonest Yesha Council knows who commits all these "price tag" crimes or could easily find out. Settlers destroy Israel!
6. free expression

9. Price tag
Can ,   Istanbul   (09.07.11)
Jewish terrorism starts to target Israeli army after Israeli Arabs.
10. Disgusting criminal attack on Tzahal
A convinced"settler" ,   The Jewish heartland   (09.07.11)
This kind of behaviour should be treated like any other violent crime, and the perpetrators caught and punished They are not patriotic heros, but out -of- control vandals, who are a disgrace to our community and country. There is no justification for this attack on Tzahal, or for that matter on mosques either, however much we may not like our unpleasant neighbours.
11. Doesnt add up. Walk in,damage, walk out unnoticed?
PETER SM ,   AUSTRALIA   (09.07.11)
Nobody on the whole base noticed anything?
12. Let the settlers defend themselves
Daniel ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (09.07.11)
take the IDF and police out of the occupied territories and let these hoodlums defend themselves. Settlers are destroying Israel.
13. Why do we deserve this treatment?"
Marcel ,   Florida   (09.07.11)
Sorry ,it's nothing personal but we have to please Washington and they won't let us go after Hamas and it's much easier to go after fellow Jews. Benji the alp dog and the Ehud dude.
14. David-stop supporting those lunatics
cohen ,   Tel Aviv   (09.07.11)
The are leading us into a civil war
15. A PURE PROVOCATION !
Jules   (09.07.11)
No settler would ever act against the IDF. The whole story is a blatant attempt to discredit the settlers, facing an extermination by "palestinians" after Sept. 20th. No proof of settlers' involvement, just pure speculation.
16. guys, with whom could we negotiate?
Salma ,   Palestine   (09.07.11)
the state of settlers or with the state of Netanyahu and his thugs ?!
17. Selective reading
H0wAb0ut ,   Israel   (09.07.11)
To all of the peace-loving war-predicting intellectuals , how about the following: 1. You have no idea who did this 2. There is a clear discrimination policy - destroy jewish homes but leave muslim buildings standing despite both being illegal 3. The soldiers , or at least some of them, are against this policy - they allowed whoever this was to do the deed. 4. You are insane thinking that jewish "settlers" are impediment to world peace. In muslim eyes any jew is a settler and after you cowards give up Judea and Samaria, they will demand North Tel Aviv. I strongly support starting from Tel-Aviv though, maybe this way we can keep the rest of the country
18. Negotiate with Jordan
H0wAb0ut ,   State of Israel   (09.07.11)
This IS after all a palestinian state
19. Get the settlers out promptly. Civil war is not an option.
Michael ,   California, USA   (09.07.11)
20. Oneness: BIG ISRAEL only practical option left.
Jerry ,   The Netherlands   (09.07.11)
21. The Two Stage Solution
Ariel Ben Yochanan ,   Kfar Tapuah, Efraim   (09.07.11)
B"H - The Two Stage Solution 1st Stage: De-legitimize the Jews by calling them "settlers" and insinuate that they are "criminals". 2nd Stage: Pogrom them out from their ancestral, biblical Home-Land.
22. #17, howabout... the only evidence seems to be the word "mig
eporue ,   europe   (09.07.11)
ron", what hints it was settlers ? nor, did any report say, HOW they "broke in" to the army base... cutting fence, or jumping over fence as with the fogels.... it could have been soldiers, theoretically, and it would be more plausible, as breaking into an army base looks so unlikely... its NOT likely, that it were palestinians, because, they might have rather tried to steal some weapons... nothing was stolen or even attempted to do so, as the person(s) who did this has enough - so it was more likely either a settler or a soldier...
23. and to #15, 17... "who did it"... ?
eporue ,   europe   (09.07.11)
yeah, pure speculation, i agree... may i ask you, assuming you are settlers, how you did KNOW and scream everywhere IMMEDIATELY, that the fogels were killed by palestinians ? what was the indication, what made lieberman and you fingerpointing from second 1 ?
24. So now the settlers are evil?
Omar ,   Canada   (09.07.11)
But burning mosques and beating a Palestinian kid with bats and pipes is perfectly okay? Taste of your own medicine, and strange you don't like it.
25. #1: just following orders is not an excuse
david ,   new york   (09.07.11)
26. "price tag" policy is the right way
david ,   new york   (09.07.11)
attacking the arabs is the proper way to respond to demolition of jewish homes. these demolitions are done in order to appease obama and europe who use their pressure on israel to make themselves "look good" to the arabs. demolshing jewish homes serves no purpose for israel other than false appeasement. the more israel shows that it can be controlled the more these coutries will push to control it. they will not be able to defend themselves by saying that "iwe do not control israel". it will therefore only increase israel's isolation. since the purpose is appeasement, attacking arabs lessens the effectiveness of this appeasement and is therefore the best policy. it however needs to be done with the proper forcefulness and consistency to be effective, otherwise it could backfire.
27. Lets Claify all settlers as being Evil now..come on people..
ged   (09.07.11)
If a pedophile was from tel Aviv, it would be wrong to say that all people from Tel aviv are sick people. Same here. Use your head people. A few people do not represent the whole,
28. # 14....As The Worm Turns....(end)
