Israel warned them constantly of what could happen, yet the flotilla went as planned...with violent Islamists making shahid videos and gathering weapons to break a war-time blockade. As an illegal act of war, the occupants on those ships became prisoners and thus were justified to be jailed until they could be processed. Once they were processed, met with their consuls, and chose to leave the country, they were released. Wow - 3 days jail for running a military blockade? The Israeli air force is not twice the size of turkey's, they have the same number of aircraft and turkey's is the third largest in NATO. Both have F16 and whilst the IAF have better pilots, claiming the entire Turkish navy would be wiped out in an hour is simply crazy. Their air force and air defences are strong wouldn't be that easily overcome. Anyway, this is all pointless as no war is going to happen.
