There is reason to believe that the Arabs are running the approach "ALL or NOTHING" and as they cannot have all of Palestine, the only alternative left is NOTHING! Abdullah go and use your heritage for what it is intended to. Your state is the Arab state on the former mandate territories. Period!

The present 2 state solution is not viable for numerous reasons: geographic, economic, social, political, religious etc etc. The stalling of the peace process for years is caused not by lack of will of vast majority of Palestinians and Israelis yearning for peace, but the basic none viability of the 2 state solution. The Jordan reaction now and over the last year or so is a reaction to this. They fear quite rightly that the only viable peace solution is a reunification of Jordan with the west back and Palistinian statehood being realized in Jordan. Of course this would mean the end to the present political system of government in Jordan and would directly threaten the “Monarchy” there. It is about time the international community embraced the fact that the present 2 state solution is not the solution, and Jordan must be bought into the equation.

We just heard a statement from Hamas, they want all of Israel. Hamas wants the Resolution that created the rebirth of Israel annulled. Hamas was very clear, that will NOT recognize Israel, period. Hamas is part of the Palestinian unity government, and they don't recognize Israel, and believed it should be destroyed. So really, who has their "head buried in the sand"?
