Babishka ,   USA/Mea Shearim   (09.22.11)
I am going to buy a bunch of Ahava products for myself and my family and promote them on my blog!
62. #55 they boycott a store but the government imposes Syrian
Moshe   (09.22.11)
boycotts and sanctions, read outside the box, not what Ynet wants to tell you
63. How about closing on Shabat?
Esther ,   Norway   (09.22.11)
I was just thinking that if the activists come on Saturdays, what about the twist to close due to Shabat on that day? Closing make them even more eager to close other shops down, too? And sales Monday through Friday is, after all, more than no sale at all?
64. closing your store
robert elman ,   Montreal Canada   (09.22.11)
I have purchased your poducts in Montreal , and while expensive, I find them to be of superior quality I do not understand your government permitting bunsinesses to be boycotted and forpassersby to be harrassed. We have the same issues here, but no one has or will close, in fact more people will shop at these stores and thumb their noses at those who protest good luck don't give in get your MP involved get your Jewish agencies involved
65. "MY STORY WITH AHAVA"
Habib Seliman ,   New York, USA   (09.22.11)
Mr. Ruttieri, once Palestine will be established could you please devote your movement to another very important cause, the rights for gay, trans gender and bisexual people. As you know, this very basic human right does not exist in the middle east, with the exception of Israel. And please let us start to boycott Syria, It is unacceptable that over 2700 children, women and men have been murdered in the last 7 months not by a 'foreign occupation force', but by their own president, who if I recall the statistics was elected by more than 98% of the voting population. Let's change the Middle East for the better, we need your help.On the other hand we really can't wait for Palestine to be established, we have to start these actions today.
66. The problem was Ahava would not defend itself
Jane - UK ,   UK   (09.22.11)
Ahava refused to take any steps to defend itself. Even when protestors were taken to court, Ahava refused to turn up and help.
67. Lease expired
Sam ,   London   (09.22.11)
Their lease had expired and the landlord was not renewing the lease therefore it was closed due to the landlord not renewing their lease not because of threats.
68. notice the day
sam ,   london uk   (09.22.11)
yeah we british jews would fight back but you notice the protest were on the holy shabos which begs the queistion why was a jewish owned shop oppenned then
69. #23
Marty ,   Toronto Canada   (09.22.11)
The day is comming when if you have an issue with "your face burning" you won't have to worry. No one will see you once there is a Muslim majority in London. No doubt they will most certainly pass a bylaw forcing you to cover your face and that will solve your problem.
70. Ahava
Tamara Clements ,   auburn USA   (09.22.11)
The dead sea is God's just like Israel is God's. Not palestine
71. #68 really good point. its true.
(09.22.11)
72. stop looking backwards!
jill ,   chicago, il   (09.22.11)
The Dead Sea is in Israel now. If all you do is look backwards- at your version of history and what you think it was- you will be stuck.
73. #2 - everyone loves Ahava - their products are superior
William ,   Israel   (09.22.11)
Pallys are only upset because Israelis took the Dead Sea and created amazing products, where as "Palestinians" just saw the Dead Sea as a pit and invited their enemies to drink from it. Since the land was never officially deemed "occupied" nor owned by "Palestinians" (the ICJ advisory position is non-binding as it was not officially litigated in court by both sides with facts), Ahava is both legitimate and will remain so. Besides, Ahava isn't even on West Bank land. Their kibbutz is right next to the so-called 1967 lines which is not a border per 1949 Armistice Agreement. I buy it all the time and will continue to. Their customers know quality, and that's that.
74. #37 - why should they move the factory?
William ,   Israel   (09.22.11)
the land was not privately owned, it was not inhabited, and technically it's only disputed as the ICJ advisory claiming its status is non-binding and was not actually argued per court norms. The "border" you claim is not actually a border per 1949 Armistice Agreement and it is ILLEGAL to consider it a border per this agreement. That's language the Arabs demanded in the agreement, not Israel. In final agreements, the border will be swapped in that area anyway, so what's the point of moving a factory that doesn't need to be moved?
75. AHAVA
maria ,   USA   (09.22.11)
By not protecting these shop keepers the Brits are letting the protesters win...they are committing a crime and should be arrested!
76. Why is AHAVA at fault?
Mychal ,   TN, USA   (09.22.11)
So people make a big demonstration in front of a store, create a nuisance, impede progress on the street and local commerce and damage property. Why is the store the one at fault? How about the bobbies get off their arses and disband the protesters? Even protesters at abortion clinics in the U.S. aren't allowed to be this disruptive and harrassing.
77. Protests on Shabbat
The Last Zionist ,   Eilat   (09.22.11)
I guess they could have closed on Shabbat. I'm not religious but it would have been a good way to avoid the idiots and get more respect at the same time.
78. #23
Sam M ,   UK   (09.22.11)
I just had to show a couple of friends your brilliant post. One of them almost fell of his chair he was laughing so hard the other one was clutching his sides! You'll easily win the bad writing award of the year with that one! You poor retarded troll you must have sweated buckets to write that crap!!
79. I bet in 67 you would support embargo on Israel
Sasha, Israel   (09.22.11)
And in 67 we were on the verge of being extinct, and certainly not in Judea and Samaria. I conclude that your motives are different than you stated. I have to be blunt: Who do you think crucified Jesus? Maybe one of your Italian ancestors.
80. Always look on the bright side of life humour won't save UK.
Jerry ,   The Netherlands   (09.22.11)
81. There must be a new strategy...
Vlad   (09.23.11)
The government has to declare that armed agents will be deployed upon request to the property of any Israeli company abroad.
82. your comments about Ahava
Maria ,   Medford, Oregon   (09.23.11)
What a load of crap. There is nothing wrong with using products from Isael. They are the best. I would not hesitate to buy anything from Gods Holy Land.
83. What about M & S and Tesco
Mark ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (09.23.11)
Dear Jews of England is it not time you come home.
84. #83 HOME ?
samson   (09.23.11)
The store was boycotted shabbat because you leftist pimps hate God. Home? To an anti jewish God and anti jewish religious bannana republic? Modern Israel is run by effete communist scum like the sewage protesting in Tel Aviv! When the lowlives who call themselves Jews, stop using the sacred Torah to justify their hateful mockeries, then the God fearing will able to live in their stolen home and God will exterminate the evil muslims that hate goodness.
85. #83 really? so UK JEWISH population ROSE 15% in ten years
Deborah Messing   (09.23.11)
It cant be that bad... And what about Tesco and M&S? They sell many Israel and kosher goods. Tesco (Tes Cohen - wive of founder) Good shabbos, take your head out of dreamland.
86. L'Oreal wants Dead Sea
Miron ,   USA   (09.23.11)

Nina ,   NYC   (09.23.11)
To protect your settlement enterprises with their hard earned wages? AHAVA will go out of business within 5 years.
88. #23 - obviously a fake!
Maurice ,   Montreal   (09.23.11)
