So it is clear that Erdogan has misread the world, he thinks everyone that beats on israel actually means it and they dont. Look at the french, in the end they backed israel and not the palestinians. In fact US did establish an embargo to Turkey after the Cyprus invasion in 1974. In late 1980ies Israel as a true friend of Turkey used her influence to lift that embargo. Unfortunately Erdogan has ruined this friendship that once benefited Turkey.

Almost everyday now people are killed or kidnapped in Turkey by the PKK. Only today a number of teachers were kidnapped. It looks like the PKK problem is getting worse everyday in Turkey. And the Turkish people are starting to be fed up by Erdogan's inabiliy to stop this. The talkbacks in the Turkish paper Hurriyet shows this clearly! I think God is now paying back to Erdogan for his support for Hamas and other terrorists.

But let me also remond you and other Turks that in the first days of the Cyprus invasion in 1974 Turkish Jets shot three of their own warships the Kocatepe, Adatepe and Maresal Fevzi cakmak. One sank immediately. Also it is important to know that although Turkey produced one warship today the Turkish jets and tanks were being modernized and maintained in Israel. I have been contacting my congressman and writing to my senators about this conflict raising my voice not to sell arms to Turkey until they stop warmongering and improve relations with Israel.
