#30 Michael. You are correct that Jews make up less than 2% of America's population. However, no group has been more (mistakenly) loyal to the Democratic Party than Jews since the 1930s. These days, American elections usually turn on small numbers of voters. Moreover, Jewish financial contributions to the Democratic Party are enormous. More than Jewish votes, Jewish financial support is highly coveted. As for winning the votes of anti-Israel Americans, they are a rather small constituency. Don't kid yourself, Michael. Obama hates Israel but he wants as much support from foolish Jews as possible.
