I am a conservative non-Jew from NYC. For years (decades) I wondered why most Jewish people I know favored the democratic party. And I wonder now more then ever. Now that the state of Israel faces greater challenges than any other time from Iran and that other "state" nearby. So long as the Jewish vote goes to democrats, who have the weakest positions on national security for us in the US and our friends, you can expect more of this. Perhaps you may disagree with the conservatives in this country on issues such as abortion and gay rights, but I would hope you at least agree that the STRONG defence of the US and our allies (including Israel) is of paramont importance. Please please please view this New Years as an opportunity to take a new direction for all Jews in the US who want this country, and the nation of Israel, to have a safe, peaceful and SECURE time for the upcomming year and years to come. Stop backing those who would weaken you! You are smarter then that!

He spends the past 3 years ignoring the Jewish community and demonizing Israel and now he does this at a time that just 'happens' to be a year before elections? It's downright disgraceful that he would make a move like this in a shameless attempt to shore up a terrible relationship he has developed with the Jewish community.

Your deeds betray you Obama, we will not be fooled again.

Because the Israeli's so desire peace they will continue to grasp at straws. They will believe everything Obama says and will suffer the consequences of his lies and deception. Israel don't believe a word he says. Trust in your G-d. He is the only one who can save you now.

I feel a sleepless night coming on. Is he trying to shake it? What bond does Israel hold with the US? In history who else held the same bond with the US and lost it?
