The US is a world leader, whether we want to be or not. Because of our inconsistent and wavering support for Israel, most glaring with the current occupant of the White House, but also in many other Presidential administrations, we have led the world to support Israel's enemies. We should have been backing up our words of support with policies and deeds as well. Then other nations would follow our example. Fortunately, there are MANY Americans who support your people and the nation of Israel, and our Legislature has been active in supporting Israel, lately against the will of the B. Hussein Obama administration. May our Senators and Representatives continue and strengthen their support of Israel. Even if we stand alone with Israel, at least we are standing on the correct side. Also - this is a site about Israel; the people here are not obsessed, only concerned about G-d's unique treasure. As a Jew, I'm sure you can understand Israel being close to one's heart.
