1. Boycotts against Israel
Alexander Scheiner ,   IL   (10.07.11)
Pro-palestinian organisations in Switzerland, founded by secular, leftist jews (!) in Europe, are in fact encouraging palestinian organisations, including the infamous BDSmovement, to boycott Israel. They promote the defamation and delegitimation of Israel.
2. The FM rep's are very wrong
Susya Bar Dror ,   IL   (10.07.11)
Israel is boycotted economically, academically and culturally. I understand the financial lossed are heavy. Further to that, foreign companies dealing with Israel are also boycotted. One of the reasons is, that the persons representing our FM are unfit for their job. Including the FM. And the PM.
3. Opposition to boycotts
Ciaran ,   Cork, Ireland   (10.07.11)
I'm glad to see that the attempts by various interest groups in Ireland have not succeeded in discouraging Irish people from trading or interacting with Israel people and companies. Pro-Palestinian activists in Ireland make a lot of noise and are not shy about airing their blinkered-eyed views about the Middle East but they do not represent everyone's views here. I can assure you that there are many supporters of Israel here but perhaps we are not as vocal as we should be in expressing that support. Myself and many other Irish people are extremely opposed to a boycott of Israel in any way, shape or form.
4. #2: DEAD WRONG: WHERE R YOUR FACTS?
EZRA THE PROUD JEW ,   USA-ISRAEL   (10.07.11)
Reveal your sources! Show the facts! Opinions mean nothing; reality trumps all. Israels economy GREW last year! Israels FMO was brilliant and so were a bunch of MKs and Embassadors. You could not be so wrong!
5. Susya....what are you talkin about?
Mark ,   NYC - USA   (10.08.11)
What big financial losses? Israel's GDP growth is on pace to hit 5% year over year...double the average of fellow OECD countries. Exports are up...just last week Intel announced another factory they will build in Southern Israel and Microsoft is also interested. I live in NY and Israeli businesses here are thriving...Aroma is opening up more locations...the effectiveness of these boycotts are a myth! Most people don't care or aren't dumb enough to fall for Palestinian lies.
6. Susya Bar Dror @ 2, I could be wrong, but I do not see it.
leo ,   usa   (10.08.11)
7. #1
E ,   NY/Israel   (10.08.11)
Those are what we call collaborators, and law or not, i ever meet someone like that i will assault them. Putting out propaganda like that is dangerous to Jews and Israelis world-wide. feel free to intimidate them and hurt them as needed.
8. Right 100% ! We've failed many times but Please don't forget
Salma ,   Palestine   (10.09.11)
FAILURE....is the first step to...................SUCCESS!!
9. #8 Salma
Jordan Ariel ,   Philadelphia USA   (10.11.11)
Or in the palestinians case... failure is the first step... to more failure (and more missed opportunities)
10. Not all Irish are Anti-Israeli
Brett Young ,   Ireland   (12.24.11)
There is a very vocal and nasty minority that think that they speak for the rest of the Irish.True there are Irish that believe the propaganda that the palestinians peddle. Most Irish are too worried about the dire state that Ireland is in,to bother about Israel or palestine. So please tone down the anti-Irish rhetoric,it doesn't help Israel's cause. It will only alienate the pro-Israeli Irishmen and women............
