31. Why don't they give equal treatment
Larry ,   Los Angeles   (10.08.11)
Why don't they give equal treatment to the Arabs who have built illegal house through out the west bank? It seems that the government is excessively strict with the Jews and overly lenient with the Arabs. Is the government afraid of the Arabs rioting and the world opinion frowning on them? This way they pick on the 'Jew' just like the goyim who beat up Jews when they had personal troubles. It seems ridiculous that the government has to do this.
32. Razing of Homes
Moragh   (10.07.11)
Israel is a finished nation. She has done everything possible to destroy and hand over her very own country which He, the Lord God so graciously gave them. To date, the Jews have lacked nothing but cowardly men to run their country into the ground. It is just fine for the rich P.M's of the country who have shown and proven just how incapable they are. Obviously these same rulers have always wanted arabs around them so now the Jews can be told to 'hop it'. Be very glad I am not a resident of Israel!
33. How very true what the Lord God said,
Moragh   (10.07.11)
At the end times Israel would become a very heavy stone.... look out Bibi and clique and I include the muslim Barak in this, not forgetting the Jew-hater clinton woman. Nothing short of dogs, all of you!
34. Jewish terrorists are threatening Israel.
Can ,   Istanbul   (10.07.11)
IAF should bomb their outposts.
35. The arabs ...
Ralph Haglund ,   Lund, Sweden   (10.08.11)
have a building boom in area A, B, Barak stops Jews from building in area C. Why this difference? Who is Barak cooperating with? Not the Jews. Is he paid by Obama and Abbas??? Or possibly Soros.
36. Lets be honest.
Ali ,   Scotland   (10.07.11)
Israel does not want to evict settlers. The main point to this exercise is propaganda. If Israel can make the nation support the poor settlers and make others in the world feel sorry for settler, then it is worth while evicting a few settlers for the benefit of the settlers as a whole.Sharon evacuated Gaza to protect settlers in the west bank .Now Settler use the land of Israel excuse, something the Gaza settlers could not.I see how Israel rolls as do others.
37. this really is not the time for this.
rebecca ,   Modiin   (10.07.11)
Try again after Succot please.
38. This is a WRONG decision...don't touch
Ash ,   Army of darkness   (10.07.11)
these "outposts"...these people are true Zionists...!!!!!!
39. Enough
Madeleine ,   Rehovot Israel   (10.07.11)
Isn't it enough that for thousands of years Jews were evicted from their homes throughout Europe and the Arab countries? I don't know of any other country where the government evicted its citizens from their homes in order to appease an enemy who won't even sit down to talk peace. Abu Mazzan won't rst until every last Israeli is evicted from his/her home, so why do we have to evict some residents in Judea and Samari. These lands are righfully ours; the "West Bank" was part of the land of Israel that was formally declared a Jewish Homeland under the Balfour Declaration in 1917 and signed upon in San Remo in 1922. Nothing has rescinded this agreement. The Jordanians captured these lands in a war they started (1948) with the aim of totally destroying the fledgling state, but were defeated. They retained the West Bank until we liberated it in 1967. But the west has bought into the Palis' lies that we have thrown them out of their homes. Our big mistake has been our lousy hasbara from day one of the State.
40. Settlers: OUT !!!
Gregg ,   Haifa, IL   (10.07.11)
They are thieves who settled on land that doesn't belong to them ! Give back this land and the waters that go with to the Palestinians.
41. Settlements
Gene Graczyk ,   Santa Rosa, CA USA   (10.07.11)
It should be plain by now that MORE settlements only complicate Israel's already weakened international position which is critical to its ultimate security. I question whether "jgood Jews" would knowingly endanger the safety and security of the millions of other Jews in Israel to make anideological point that must ultimately fail. Those who truly love Israel cannot in good conscience support illegal settlements.
42. Migron will not go peacefully
Aviela ,   MIGRON, ISRAEL   (10.08.11)
The people of Migron have never had any violent (from our side) confrontations. However, the government is now threatening our lives and our children and we will not go gaily toward destruction. Anyone is invited to come see this beautiful example of love for the Land of Israel is welcome to contact me for free tours in English. Incidentally, the PEOPLE who live here are just that, PEOPLE. That "settlers" has come to mean some scum-like sub-species is unacceptable. We raise our families just like everyone in the rest of the country. A good, productive (not destructive) new year to us all.
43. #40 Gregg you are a thief too
A Palestinian Jew   (10.08.11)
Get out of Haifa - you're stealing Palestinian land
44. all talk
yossi ,   israerl   (10.08.11)
the settlers aren't going to do shit.
45. #40. Judea & Samaria legally belong to Israel.
Chaim ,   Israel   (10.08.11)
#40 Gregg. It is convenient for you to believe that Judea and Samaria belong to "Palestinians". However, it is absolute rubbish. There is no such state as Palestine and no such state has EVER existed. Judea and Samaria are the 3,500 year old heartland of the Jewish people. Judea and Samaria legally belong to Israel. This is not a matter of opinion. It has been proven by countless international law experts, such as Eugene Rostow, author of U.N. Resolution 242. It is law.
46. STOP UNLEASHING THESE DOGS!
YOAV ,   TEL AVIV   (10.08.11)
OUR GOVERNMENT GAVE ALL THAT POWER. THEY ARE BUNCH OF HATEFUL PEOPLE. STOP THIS NON-SENSE.
47. Paid Anti Israel Talkbackers
Mary snow ,   Usa   (10.08.11)
It is odvious that some of the vicious anti settler comments are coming from paid I said and meant paid talkbackers aka Social Media Gurus from either a foreign probably US PR firm or NGO. Notice that some of these people are not regular talkbackers. Someone needs to investigate these people.
48. To 45, Chaim
Luiz F Haddad ,   Niteroi, Brazil   (10.08.11)
Brother Chaim, listen. Nothing can prevail against International Law. Balfour's Declaration was silent about the limits of Jewish and Arab territories into old Ottoman Palestine. San Remo's Treaty was abrogated by UNO's Resolution, in 1947, that decided for Palestine's partition among Israel and an Arab State. Hence, the two States have equal legitimation into the "Holy Land". Of course, Israel must not make concessions that endanger her security and sovereignty. Of course, Jerusalem is your eternal capital. But legally, Judea and Samaria, or West Bank, do not belong to your territory, with the exception of some areas, through new secure borders. I am not the only one that considers it so. Almost other Israelian friends, including much Jews, have the same position. I salute you again.
49. Thanks Mary for the levity, are you serious
Dennis ,   U.S.   (10.09.11)
#47 Mary "Someone needs to investigate these people" LMAO oh Mary Mary lets investigate these people still LMAO
50. New Approach
Steve B. ,   USA   (10.09.11)
Against all conventional wisdom: how about the Israeli Government change course and decide to start to evict the Palestinians out of the land; I'm sure that would have some modecum of peace. God bless Israel...and may He give the Israelis the strength to finally cut that cancer out--the Palestinians.
51. San Remo is international LAW
Ralph Haglund ,   Lund, Sweden   (10.09.11)
while what UN said 1947 is only a recommendation with no legal value. Did anyone observe that the arabs said NO and started a war??? How much did the deportation of the Jews of Gaza increase Israels safety and good will? Barak is starting a civil war with his actions against the religious/national Jews he hates so much. If I were a settler, his house would not be very safe.
52. To Moshe #19 and exUK #14
John ,   Alaska   (10.09.11)
As ali Asghar (TB #11) can confirm, the Arabs will only be satisfied once the illegal Jewish settlements of Haifa and Tel Aviv are liberated by Arabs. This is taught as an imperative of Islam and Muslims will never compromise this by only taking Gaza or the West Bank. Why do you think the Arabs attacked you in 1948, and why do you think there was a Palestine Liberation Organization in 1964? What do you think the Naqba Day remembrance is lamenting? These had and have _nothing_ to do with the Occupied West Bank. They have everything to do with _you_ in Occupied Palestine, by which they mean Tel Aviv and everywhere else from the river to the sea where Jews are living. Until you are willing to cede your enemies your home city, you are a hypocrite to demand that your fellow Jews in Samaria and Judea to do so.
53. Re #31 a very, very sad clarification
John ,   Alaska   (10.09.11)
The Israeli government is not just like the goyim. The proper word for Jews who hurt other Jews so their enemies don't have to do the work is _capo_. I say that with all due respect. If you don't want the word to apply to you, change your behavior so that it no longer does.
54. To Aviela Deitch in Migron, Israel
John ,   Alaska   (10.09.11)
You and your family and neighbors are not alone. You have people praying for you, and more important that that: you have Ha'Shem. It is not that He is on your side; it is that you are on His. You are obeying His command. Those that seek to tear you from your home, on the other hand, are _not_ on His side, and are _not_ obeying His word.
55. Response to#45
John R ,   NYC USA   (10.09.11)
There are multiple rulings by Israel’s own courts that state it is an occupying power in the West Bank including a June 2005 ruling upholding the constitutionality of the Gaza disengagement. In that ruling the Israeli High Court determined that "Judea and Samaria" [West Bank] and the Gaza area are lands seized during warfare, and are NOT part of Israel. “The Judea and Samaria areas are held by the State of Israel in belligerent occupation.” Rostow incidentally never said the West Bank was Israeli land. No such country as America existed before it was populated with emigrants so your Palestine argument is irrelevant. How the final border is determined will probably be dictated by the US and either accepted by both sides in a referendum or rejected. If Israel rejects it and continues its settlement policy the US will eventually support world wide economic sanctions since nothing else will stop Israel from violating international law.
56. #49 Ansewer
Mary Snow ,   Usa   (10.09.11)
Yes positively absolutely Dennis u.s. I am very serious.
57. A Shame!
Steve B. ,   USA   (10.09.11)
These evictions are not just a crime against the people, they are, especially, a crime against God and His land. I'm sure he's not too pleased with this travesty of justice. Well, that's what you get when you allow liberals among you to think and to decide policy; just like over here with Obama and his cronies. May God help you and us in the USA. God bless the true remnant of Israel! A Christian Zionist
58. #55 Response
Mary Snow ,   USA   (10.09.11)
You are so wrong about Rostow and the other authors of Resolution 242 There is nothing in his writings in any agreements that say Israel had to go back to 67, and nothing was ever mentioned about land swaps. Short of that I can never support a State of Israel built on weakness controlled by the United States. Read also what the other authors wrote about Resolution 242 in the January 15 2007 article in Camera titled. "Security Council Resolution 242 According to its Drafters" if the US supports sanctions as you predict then there will be WWIII. Israel will have to do what it must to defend herself.
59. Bibi you will fall if you don't get ehud barak
Hippocrates ,   earth   (10.09.11)
out of your government. The US doesn't need ehud barak, and neither do we. so do some punting.
60. Response to#58
John R ,   NYC USA   (10.09.11)
The preamble in UNSC res242 states the""inadmissibility of the acquisition of territory by war ". That is basic common international law since 1928, Rostow does not say anywhere in 242 that the West Bank is Israeli land. The general thrust of 242 is the development of defensible borders (which could be obtained in 1 to 1 land swaps). There are 9 UNSC resolutions going back more than 40 years which state the settlements violate art 49 of the 4th Geneva Convention. A 2004 International Court of Justice ruling states the same thing. I could care less what CAMERA says since they have no legal standing.
