1. the protestors set themselves up for a fall from the start
zionist forever   (10.09.11)
WHERE IS THE PUBLIC HOUSING WHERE IS THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING WHAT ABOUT FREE EDUCATION FOR INFANTS WHAT ABOUT THE COLLAPSING HEALTH SYSTEM Bibi has already committed himself to building homes and various other things before this Tratjtenberg. The problem here is not Tratjtenberg itself which has gone to far in some areas but the fact the protestors were never an organised group it was made up of individuals all with their own demands so it was never going to be possible to satisfy them. That idiot Leef and the Student Union don't understand the first thing about economics or running a country. They think if they want more money for social welfare projects then they grows on trees for the government and if they want money spent on social welfare projects then it must be spent.
2. No Faith in the Israeli Goverment
Mary Snow ,   USA   (10.09.11)
Can anybody tell me why in the world with all of the new gas finds in the Mediterranean and the potential windfall in energy and profits would we want to cut defense? Why wasn't that money used instead? We are at a time of great pearl to Israel and the Jewish people is the highlight of folly that defense would be cut.
3. "finally manages" to Ok report
Wilbur ,   US   (10.09.11)
a one week delay is not at all significant, especially as Yom Kipur intervened etc. Bibi has already begun many changes such as land and use planning etc. he has said much of gas taxes will go towards education . He is doing very well. News reports of early elections over this Report are wrong....again
4. #1: I think you missed the big housing picture.
5th generation ,   Israel   (10.09.11)
The fact that housing prices increased astronomically (disproportionately to need) without a compensatory increase in salaries is an unacceptable combination. Absolutely unacceptable, anywhere, anytime.

6. report and protestors
moron ,   galut   (10.09.11)
they are never satisfied ..let them run in next elections-no mob rule
7. whilst i agree that some changes really needed to be made...
lani ,   israel   (10.10.11)
I think that the government has gotten onto it very quickly when you consider the extent of work that it would all take and what is going on around the rest of the world. So some of these people really need to calm down, they obviously have no idea about economics or how to run a country, so they shouldn't be preaching, if they have better ideas on how to fix everyones problems, they should come up with the solutions and propose them. It sounds like some of these people are trying to demand the government to literally hand them keys to brand new apartments for free.
8. Nothing Done due to Hok Hahesdireem
Netanya ,   Netanya   (10.10.11)
As long as Hok Hahesdireem exists, which can change every law or postpone it indefinitely, this is just a cover-up. That is why this is not real and will not help anything. First get rid of that moronic law!
