Chaya ,   Tel Aviv   (10.11.11)
Just want to say 'shukran'/thanks for what you wrote. Stay safe... Shalom/Salaam
32. #3 correct, except Daf has been annoying for a while already
Netanya ,   Netanya   (10.11.11)
Daffy has been annoying for a while and I really hope that nobody strikes when she calls for it. She is just a spoiled brat, who needs to shut up now and let some of those who are really actually having financial problems take control. Daffy has no kids, no mortgage, and can live with her rich parents while going to school. Time to shut this crazy loon down.
33. Dafni Leef's motiv's.......
tiki ,   belgium   (10.11.11)
To stay famous & in the news! An irresponsable loudmouth!
34. #30 Yakov
Devorah   (10.11.11)
You are not seeing anxiety here. What you are seeing is disgust with a loudmouth, know-nothing tool.
35. :-)
Dave ,   Israel   (10.11.11)
Power to the people!
36. #30 Devorah
Yakov ,   Tel Aviv   (10.11.11)
Sorry Devorah, unless you know her personally, that comment defines anxiety. Without knowing the person, you distill your anxieties for what she stands for, into a personal attack. Classic neurosis Devorah, sorry. Because you don't agree with her, she is, as you say, "a loudmouth, know-nothing tool".
37. #30 is right
TC   (10.11.11)
The people of Israel is on your side Dafni. And to all the US comments, please shut up already, you are not even living in Israel, what do you know about anything going on in this country?
38. Strikes
roxie   (10.11.11)
That is what this country is known for strikes that make the vulnerable in the country suffer the most. The rich are never affected by strikes because they have the financial resources to go elsewhere ,for example they can go to private MD while the Residents/ Doctors strike the hospitals, they can drive their cars when the buses go on strike, they can afford child care wen the teachers/schools go on strike, they don't care if the local authorities go on strike, because no matter what they get what they need! Enough with these stupid strikes and threats of strikes they don't work because they don't affect the rich because if they did the rich would simply leave the country for greener pastures elsewhere!
39. Talkbacks
(10.11.11)
Check out the talkbacks -- no one things too much of this little windbag so enamoured with her own opinion...why do you give her so much publicity? No one cares what she has to say other than herself and her family...maybe...
40. #36 Yakov
Devorah   (10.11.11)
You don't know me, Yakov, and you don't know who I know, so your comment negates itself. Nice try.
41. #37, yeah thats why the left does so well in elections
Danny   (10.11.11)
42. GOOD!!!!!!!
Brian ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (10.11.11)
If spoiled Israeli children keep it up, than they can be replaced real quick with olim like myself who have been struggling to make a decent life here, but can't find a decent paying honest job, because we are stuck between thousands of refugees and illegal immigrants on one hand, and an impenetrable, wall of protexia built by these very same protesters parents, not to mention many of these protesters are the children of the greedy business owners who use the excuse of, " Israelis won't do these jobs". The real truth is Israelis, and Olim don't wish to work six days, to always include shabbat, holidays, no transportation pay, no overtime, for between 24 and 30 nis an hour, making your whole life work, just to be able to pay the rent and bills and never get anywhere, because when you ask for a raise you get replaced. The greedy business owners here are not being held responsible for breaking labor laws, one can only assume, our politicians are being paid off, just like our protesters are sponsored. Likud is the new kadima, we need to go farther right, the judges and politicians in Tel Aviv, are the problem, and they misdirect ignorant peoples anger at the "settlers", who god knows are all heroes, that we don't deserve.
43. @30 there is a point where protest is counterproductive!
Nili Cohen ,   Jerusalem   (10.11.11)
Don't commit the same error as the Israeli Right (they have seriously lost their way and have fallen into violence with their "Tag Mechir" ("Price Tag") actions. Please recognize that to win it is necessary to take counsel and to compromise! In other words Dafni Leef and her fellow protestors - be wise enough to recognize that you aren't going to get everything you want in life and that you have done very well indeed! COMPROMISE NOW!
44. Arrest this little bitch for treason and anarchy
Al   (10.11.11)
She and her merry gang of losers are nothing more than economic terrorists. Nothing more nothing less.... Enough of this BS.
45. "Draft dodging Communist..."
Ed Codish ,   Pardessiya, Israel   (10.11.11)
The comment by "zionist forever" and many others here reveals a group of people huddled in hatred by their computers. "Crooked unions" and so on makes the comment pointless. I find it of concern that so many Israelis live in a paranoid world in which left wing conspiracies are everywhere - universities, the media, all intellectual groups. I think I understand that it may be frightening to live in a society in which most people are better educated than you are and strongly disagree with you. It is easier to declare that such people are traitors who should be in jail, or be sent to Gaza. But calling someone a "left wing Torah hating fascist" (29) only shows a person afraid of the world he lives in. This would not matter but the prevalence of so rabid a minority makes the country I love a bit less pleasant place.
46. #18 Israel cannot afford Leef.
rebecca ,   Modiin   (10.11.11)
Most people in the west bank work or study.
47. # 30
Dana Rothschild ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (10.11.11)
this struggle represets the majority??? I see in this moment 30 talkbacks here... 29 against the activities of dafni leef, 1, yours, pro... I don't see here your majority, if the talkbacks represent sort of opinion poll......
48. #46 rebecca, People follow Leef not settlers.
Michael ,   California, USA   (10.11.11)
Leef represents Israel's voice of democracy and has the popular support from students to doctors. Indeed, this movement may topple the government and remove the old apparatchiks from their worn out seats. That's why this is "Spring," renewal time.
