61. #19 SALMA
Maya ,   Chicago, Il   (10.16.11)
The world changes but stubborn policies of kidnapping of soldiers regardless of the Geneva Conventions won't change. Ironic how you can freely speak here on an Israeli newspaper, I would love to see you being so "open minded" on a Hamas website...
62. LEFTISTS!
Maya ,   Chicago, Il   (10.16.11)
If the occupy wall street is the "tea party of the left" then how are the conservatives to blame!? Maybe some of you should think before speaking...
63. #54 David. Obama is driving force behind OWS disgrace.
Chaim ,   Israel   (10.16.11)
#54 David. Since you claim it is "slander" to note the Anti-Semtism of OWS and it's close connection to Obama; how do you respond to Charles Krauthammer's recent well reasoned critiique of OWS? Krauthammer revealed not only the hateful tactics of OWS (which includes a large amount of Jew hatred) but the strategy the Obama regime uses to promote OWS. Like it or not; Obama is the driving force behind the OWS disgrace. Obama sees divisiveness and hatemongering as his only chance to win in 2012. Obama certainly can't run on his record, which is an unmitigated disaster.
64. to no.59
Jennie ,   Israel/US   (10.16.11)
This element of democracy you are so happy and proud about, was the cause and the beginning of Holocaust in not such a distant future, Michael...Do not underestimate the power of an uneducated, lazy, self-righteous mob, who feel they deserve everything for nothing..In a week or two there would be too cold in NYC and they would need to move perhaps to DC or to mr. soros's own backyard...G-d forbid they should seek a job..Oh, well..If this Democracy is not to their liking, why don't they try Russia or Red China ?
65. to n's 54 and 55
Jennie ,   Israel/US   (10.16.11)
YES, PRECISELY.... 54 - Shame on you for trying to to cover up for a blatant spark of antisemitism from these so-called proponents of social justice...How hypocritical and pathetic of you and them all could get...Keep it Up ! 55 There is no need to discredit them. The rioters are doing a pretty damn good job at it all by themselves...
66. Yes, Lies and half-truths
Jennifer ,   USA   (10.16.11)
To be sure, there are anti-Semites in almost any crowd with enough people. #1 - The crazy looking young man in the YouTube clip mentioned above is himself Jewish. It would be as ridiculous to conclude, based on his statements, that Jewish people are anti-Semitic as it is to assume that Occupy Wall Street protestors are anti-Semitic. #2 - The article mentions the sign saying "Hitler's Bankers," yet doesn't mention the person holding the sign to his right with an arrow pointing towards the "Hitler" sign that said "A*&hole." If one sign can mark a movement anti-Semitic, then cannot another sign mark at as non-anti-Semitic? Not in the minds of those who want to spread disinformation. #3 - There is a marked difference in being opposed to some of Israel's policies, and being anti-Semitic. If you can't understand that, then try to explain with the same logic that the Tea Party hates Americans because they oppose some American policies. #4 - A very large Yom Kippur celebration was held as part of Occupy Wall Street. Not very anti-Semitic, huh? Please stop spreading hate and disinformation.
67. #9 jen-as usual american jews are the idiots in parttaking.
mira ,   israel   (10.16.11)
68. OBAMA IS TO BLAME!!!

69. china taking the jobs away.
martin ,   london   (10.16.11)
70. #47 Brooklyn Dodger
Jack Jill ,   USA   (10.17.11)
#47 ha ha ha ha...**I** am NOT blaming zionists for anti-semitism. They bring the blame upon *themselves*.
71. Idiots.
Ezra ,   san diego   (10.17.11)
They know not what they are complaining about. The anti-jewish slurs are the logical direction they go when trying to blame their problems on someone else.
72. whats so unusual about this
zionist forever   (10.17.11)
The non Jews will happily go have a beer share a few laughs with the mostly secular Jews in good times, but when things are bad economically the old stereotypes of the Jews running America's financial systems surface because they need somebody to blame for their problems. I am just surprised there hasn't been more of this sort of thing. The Jews have two options: The first they can move to Israel where they can make use of their skills to benefit Israel and be sure they will never be persecuted. The second option is to just stick it out the way diaspora Jews have done for thousands of years when persecuted.
73. #43 you are so very right ! many will have a rude awakening
rachel ,   usa   (10.17.11)
74. #70 jack
solomon ,   bklyn   (10.17.11)
"Zionist" is a PC way of saying 'Jews'. Your response shows you are the 'dodger', dodging the question at hand. Your laughter is therefore hollow. Both your posts make no sense, except showing your apriori hatred.
75. 31 - "This is news to me" ,...
split ,   US   (10.17.11)
Enter on google 'Letter to President Clinton on Iraq' ... 'Letter to President Bush on the War on Terrorism',... compare the percentage of Jewish warmongers under those letters with about 2% of total population,... Please show me an another minority in US creating deceptive war mongering "bodies" like AIPAC, New American Century or 172 other organisations under the name of 'The Jewish Federations of North America' that are screwing US tax payer by collecting a tax deductible donations that have to be replaced by an additional taxes imposed on six-pack-joe. They don't give a damn about Joe's or US interest ,... "Iran has already been proven to be responsible for many American deaths" - No kiddin', do you care to list some of them? ,...
76. 50 - "It is YOUR attitude that should change" ,...
split ,   US   (10.17.11)
Are you trying to tell us that all the nations around the World (since Abraham) are wrong, and you're blameless for all those pogroms and an expulsions ?,... http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3342999,00.html
77. occupy wall street anti-semetic
Larry Fink ,   Cresskill NJ USA   (10.17.11)
The roots and call for this protest are from "Adbusters," an openly anti-semetic and and anti Israel publication. According to them, there is only one evil politician we have to worry about it, Netanyahu. As expected, Iran's Ahmedinajad, NK's Kim, Zimbabwe's Mugabwe are exempt from criticism since all evil must come from Israel in their warped world-view.
78. "Gaza supports Occupy Wall Street" - Hahahahaha
William ,   Israel   (10.17.11)
Of course they do. Occupy Wall Street has the strong scent of forced socialism and welfare for lazy, stupid people. Gaza, actually all "Palestinians", stand for the same thing as they continue to be the longest and largest welfare recipients of global aid, producing nothing in return, since WWII. Who would want a democracy and legitimate govt with the responsibility of actually taking care of their own citizens? That's hard work, and usually doesn't result in free money or power. Of course "Palestinians" would reject that.
79. "Google 'Wall st. jews"
William ,   Israel   (10.17.11)
But not "Wall St. Christians"? or "Muslim billionaires" (which there are a ton of)? It's important to note that these same anti-establishment liberals who are anarchists at best refuse to acknowledge the many other liberals who are wealthy....but also that these protests reflect the same in years past: anti-establishment, anarchists hiding behind guise of social reform, attacking Jews as the source of the world's ills, and bringing forth revolution and despotic regimes resulting in war and the deaths of millions. Think Bolsheviks, Nazis, Khomeini, Castro, Chavez, and now the Nazi youth glued to their iPads while decrying the Corporate world in NYC.
80. #1 - speaking of intellectual dishonesty
William ,   Israel   (10.17.11)
The article did not equate the entire movement with anti-semetism, as you claim. The article was about anti-semetism appearing at the protests, which only hurts the credibility of the protests in general. The same thing happened in Tel Aviv with the social protests there when Leftist politicians, anarchists, and some Arabs tried to hijack the movement for their own agenda. Just because it hurts your liberal agenda doesn't justify ignoring facts.
81. #3 - I wish AIPAC did have that kind of power
William ,   Israel   (10.17.11)
then the US would have hit Iran the way it should have instead of Iraq to appease Bush Jr. and Cheney's Halliburton. As for Afghanistan, please explain how Israel or Jews would have benefited from the war there.
82. #4 - tell that to the 80% of Americans who support Israel
William ,   Israel   (10.17.11)
and understand that prior to the 1967 war, Arabs were still committing war crimes against Jewish civilians and the "occupation" is nothing more than a rallying cry based in falsehood. The people in the street today are both a minority and naive youth. They are typically liberal and pro-"Palestinian" - both because lack of intelligence and penchant to violence is a per-requisite for your support base. Once people become peaceful, law-abiding, and more experienced in life, they stop supporting "Palestinians". Go ask Palmer.
83. Leftists Jewish organizations are behind the protests.
Axel ,   Boston, USA   (10.17.11)
These protests were organized by leftists Jews.
84. OWS mobs
BH ,   Iowa   (10.17.11)
Have been endorsed by the communist party, the nazi party and the democrat party. Any Jew who supports this is a fool.
85. anti-semitism in ny
Yoel ,   ossining,ny   (10.17.11)
#11 Christian Zionist--- Well said.
86. Back in the seventies there were JEWS
jason white ,   afula, israel   (10.17.11)
who would have broken heads at this demo. Today there are "jews" and they would not fight back. It is more important to them to see who wins the World Series or the new iphone than it is to defend Jews and Israel. Why don't Jews join with Evangelicals and fight to remove arab groups from the states before it is too late. Waiting for politicians takes to long, but a baseball bat to the head is faster and more effective.
87. Chaim - keep repeating your lies and distortions
David ,   Los Angeles   (10.17.11)
The fact that there are a few antisemites in a crowd of thousands is not "noting the Anti-Semitism of OWS." Your utterly dishonest attempt to slur a movement or large group with the behavior of a small number of individuals is just pathetic and no different than the kind of slurs Jews face: In fact, there were hundred participating in a Yom Kippur service at the demonstration. By your iditotic logic, that presumably means OWS is a Jewish conspiracy.
88. to Mark - #8
Dino Domingo ,   Vancouver, Canada   (10.18.11)
although I dont agree with how people are lashing out and making Jews a scapegoat...I must say Jews do the very same all the time. almost every day I read comments from Jews all over the world...as soon as they find out a person is a Turk they say "what about the genocide against the Armenians"...even if the comment has nothing to do with what the turk is referring to...if its a German then they are a Nazi...if its a Brit then they are enemies...if its an American then Obama is a Muslim...and so on! its not only people against Jews...everyday Jews make claims when it isn't in context or when its irrelevant to the topic...most people are considered anti semites just because they disagree with a Jewish policy...why?
89. #87. Obama is up to his eyeballs in OWS disgrace.
Chaim ,   Israel   (10.18.11)
#87. The strong link between the Obama regime and the OWS has been well established. It is no accident the Obama Democrats strongly support OWS. They rightly view it's divisiveness, hate mongering, Jew baiting and "eat the rich" attitude as their only chance at winning in 2012. It is Obama's pathetic attempt to counter the truly populist tea party movement. I suggest you read Charles Krauthammer's recent column on the topic. Insults don't trump common sense and evidence, David. Obama is up to his eyeballs in the OWS disgrace. It is classic Saul Alinsky politics. The fact that there are some Jewish useful idiots in the crowd doesn't change anything.
90. #66 has it right...
esnuffnstl ,   USA   (10.18.11)
I'm sure every agenda under the sun is being represented by someone in these protests.
