The grotesque celebration of the release of murderers is barely mentioned by the western media.The columnists at the New York Times who routinely savage Israel have been silent as usual. Thomas Friedman, who called Israel brain dead while at an exclusive gathering in Aspen, has been totally silent.He can't even muster a word of condemnation for this ghoulish spectacle.

In prison they have to maintain them and treat them well. If they release them and they show up again they can be killed as terrorist. Either way they are a threat and burden to Israel and so if you can let the palestinians feed them and deal with them they can have them, but if they show there evil towards Israel again their dead terrorist. I am not sure these prisoners are any greater risk tham hundreds more just like them in the area.

Hamas has done nothing but plan this abduction. They probably had Gilad surrounded by explosives deep under the ground. Inhumane Hamas managed to give two pieces of info in 5 years, while Israel allowed Hamas prisoners visitors from their family.
