Allah is the Arabic word for God, Hashem is the Jewish word for God, Dios is the Spanish word for it and God is the English word. We worship the same God. He is the God Of Abraham and Ishmael and Issac and Mohammad. Also for my christian brothers, I say that Christians killed hundreds of millions of people in the last 100 years alone. they killed 27 millions in WWI and 75millions in WWII and killed about 50 millions in their colonial wars like in Vietnam and Algeria and Africa...etc. They committed two Holocaust in Europe against the Jews in Germany and Moslems in Bosnia. So please do not lecture me about civility or violence.

Dear Sammy... Wherever you look in conflcts around the world, the other part is Muslim fighting Jews, Christinans, Hindus, secular people. You cannot live in tolerance. Just checks the world wars now: Somalia, Iraq Palestine, Pakistan, Chechen, Kurds, Philipines, China, Lebano, Copts, etc... If you count all people Muslim have killed and that are not part of statistcs, dude, it would be billions...

Perhaps Mr. Mustafa simply recognizes the difference between a kidnapped soldier and terrorists rightfully imprisoned for criminal acts. Would that you could appreciate the vast difference as well. I guess that's just too much to hope for.

Salim was in the news a few months after Shalit's kidnapping and again in 2009, voicing his support for the soldier and the unfortunate racist attacks on him for daring to support a Jew. He was threatened by the Islamist movement in Israel and his house was firebombed, although I think the damage was minimal.

I wish more people would have the strength to do such things. I'm sure he had some scary moments meeting those who did not like it.

I wish there were more Israeli Arabs who vocalize & act on their support of Israel as Salim has. What an amazing man.
