Visiting Israel last summer, I purposely asked our guide who spoke Arabic to take us to Arab restaurants and meet Arabs so my kids would see their culture too. They were really nice people even nicer than the Jewish ones (many of whom were quite impolite but some were really nice too), so NO, you are wrong to assume what "Jewish kids" are taught.
