1. Olmert
Jeff   (10.26.11)
I am sure if Olmert or livny were PM your opinion will be different. You just don't " farginn" bibi. Bibi understands that as a good neigbor it is expected to help. This situation just gives us an opportunity to show the Turks that we are a loving and caring pepole and will do anything to prove it and to help anyone I'm a time of need. If we weren't busy fighting off pepole who want nothing less then to push us into the sea. Then we would have been the biggest first responder to any and all countries in need.
2. True humanitarian gesture only1
R ,   Israel   (10.26.11)
It is unlikely that this aid will be mentioned in Turkey anyway and this aid is a humanitarian gesture for the people in Van whose lives have been ruined.
3. HELPING TURKEY !
Mark ,   T.a. Israel   (10.26.11)
Actually the TURKISH AID is not reaching it's destination because of lack of security personel and the CHAOTIC SITUATION in the disaster stricken area ! Pay attention that they do not want Medical Help ! All the DWELLING UNITYSthat will be sent will be sold on the market and the money will go to ERDOGAN 'S SUPPORTERS ! Besides many people in Turkey think that this aid has a PR Motivation ! We have here a lot of Israelis without a proper house ! First we should care for our own people !
4. ERDOGAN IS A BASTARD

5. They rejected medical aid?
Devorah   (10.26.11)
Israel has the best emergency/trauma assistance in the world, and it can be deployed almost immediately. How could they reject medical aid which we know they need NOW? What don't they want Israel to see?
6. It would still be fool to not send help.
Vlad   (10.26.11)
Turkey helped with the Carmel fires.
7. erdogan's hate is more powerful than his people's lives.

Do we help people because we want to end as the frog? * As in Easop's fable The Scorpion and the Frog The Scorpion and the Frog A scorpion and a frog meet on the bank of a stream and the scorpion asks the frog to carry him across on its back. The frog asks, "How do I know you won't sting me?" The scorpion says, "Because if I do, I will die too." The frog is satisfied, and they set out, but in midstream, the scorpion stings the frog. The frog feels the onset of paralysis and starts to sink, knowing they both will drown, but has just enough time to gasp "Why?" Replies the scorpion: "Its my nature..."

10. Turkey sends flotilla; Israel sends help...
Alex ,   Berlin, Germany   (10.26.11)
So... whereas Turkey sends to Israel flotillas full of terrorists and delincuents, Israel swallows its pride and sends humanitarian help to Turkey.... but still Erdogan keeps on being the Muslim macho he's showed us he is.... How about Israel showing the finger to Turkey? .....

Iran and Syria are also neighbours of Turkey. Let them help their new friends.
12. Fools - they'll only dream up some concocted
Barbara ,   Haifa Israel   (10.26.11)
idea that Israeli's stole human organs or something like that. You see, our being good to help Turkey will come back to hurt us.
13. To # 1 Israel responds to countries in need
Segal ,   Israel   (10.26.11)
In spite of the difficulties Israel faces, Israel is many times the first to respond to crises anywhere in the world. Recent examples Haiti and Japan (and long after medical teams were pulled out of Haiti, Israel remained there to help).

We Jews must not be like them.It is our duty to help even our enemies in these difficult time, and hopefully they will come to their sense.

The fable is funny, but has nothing to do with Judaism. It is true that Erdogan is a brainless pig, but he makes the Turkish people suffer more than us. By helping the Turkish people, Israel might save the life of a future doctor who saves countless lives, or even a leader who will reject the primitive culture of Erdogan and bring back Turkey's glory.
17. #10 We didn't show Israel the finger during the Caramel fire
Ibrahim ,   Turkey   (10.26.11)
18. Hashem sees all.
Barry ,   Eilat   (10.26.11)
Israel a light in the darkn and a light unto other nations.
19. Thank you!
A Turkish friend   (10.26.11)
Thank you for the offer and also insisting to help even when initially rejected ( all help was rejected by the way) This interest and willingness shows three important things for the ordinary Turk 1.Whatever foolish things our governments have done or continue to do the people on both sides have common sense and can differ right from wrong. 2. Our Israeli friends care about human lives and care about the lives of Turks and are eager to share their human power, expertise and equipment faster than any other around. 3.Although we seem to be at odds, mainly because our PM is too proud for his own good, Israel, in fact, wants to repair this old friendship. So I think this is priceless. As a result, we do see and acknowledge this and our media has covered Israeli help extensively( though there are other countries helping, too), This shows that we Turks care as well and are not happy with the current political situation. It may not make a instant difference politically but Israel has reminded the Turks what Israel stands for in our hearts. I hope this will have a positive affect on our leaders to mend our current problems. TODA ISRAEL AND SHALOM.

number 5   (10.26.11)
cameras on the Flotilla that was boarded not to mention hundreds of cell phone footage. Israel confiscated everything on the ship. they coulld easily show how the activists died. What does Israel have to hide. Let me guess. Turkey because fellow Muslims were suffering under a humanitarian crisis documented by human rights groups tried to break the blockade. Israel sent a message by executing about 5 activists to say don't try this again. The USA believes Israel but then again the USA would believe Israel if they said the moon was made out of cheese. But Turkey and the rest of the world believes there is a good possibility Israel executed activists probably to send a message. Israel's not showing what happend may be a block to the two countries patching things up. Germany did all possible to own up to the crimes of world war two. I think Israel would be better of if they realeased the tapes said we regret what happend but we have to enforce the blockade. but I don't think they ever will

Is this the reason why Turkish military does not allow embedded journalists (as USA always does) when they are bombing the Kurts, destroying their villages etc?
