Most Iranian civilians don't want to harm Israel. Ordinary people prefer to live their lives in peace and have done nothing to deserve being punished. Why haven't the world's democracies covertly supplied arms to the Iranian and Syrian dissidents instead of watching the dictators crush their protests? The Caliphate has succeeding in employing this tactic and in recruiting homicidal martyrs to attack democracies' civilians.

My concern is the very young and the children who are not at fault on both sides. They have not lived to enjoy the goodness of this earth. Weather or not Iran will strike Israel, is a highly debatable question and very complicated as well. But a short and accurate answer can be provided, in case of Israel's preemptive strike on Iran. Again, weather Iran will strike or not is questionable but in case Isreal attacks first, for SURE Iran will immediately back with the first bomb they develop......FOR SURE !! Remember nuclear jeeny is out of the bottle, you CAN NOT undo the knowledge Iranians have already gathered, you may mearly delay it. Will you go to attack them again and then again. World will plunge into economic darkness by this Israely action. Americans are slowly but surely realizing that the Israelies are a very expensive and unnecessary partner, one that has only brought missery to this partnership. The west has successfuly used Israel as a thorn in Arab's ass and the west is the one who created this Iranian issue to keep this area in turmoil, divide and rule, policy has been working in this region for a long time.

Any assessment of possible scenarios and results should be based on military reality. The Israeli Air Force has about 288 multi rale aircraft which can launch strike missions against Iran without necessarily requiring in flight refueling. Because of its unique organization and crewing practices each of these aircraft can generate about 3.3 sorties a day against Iran. The Israelis can generate 700 multi role fast jet sorties a day vs Iran while simultaneously generating another 1,200 daily against inner ring targets. This later number would increase somewhat if Israel reactivated still serviceable F4-2000 and ARBS equipped A-4Ns. The reality is that the Israelis can generate more sorties 96 hours from now then could the USAF, USN, and USMC combined 96 days from now.....if somehow the US had both unlimited time and bases, which it does not! Similarly, the Israeli Army can generate about 60 brigades within 96 hours. More importatant, 33 of these are tank brigades with 111-146 MBTs each. By comparison, the US Army has only 20 heavy brigades with 57 MBTs each, plus 8 more in the National Guard. Only one of these can be quickly deployed based on vehicles forward deployed in Kuwait. Most would require months to deploy! Simply put Israel is a regional superpower with military capability that the US could not generate in months. A one time raid on Iran would not be militarily significant. Rather a strategic air operation would be required that might last 3-4 days which would reult in the deliverey of 3,000-5,000 PGMs.The IDF must assume that any pre emptive attack on Iran will inevitably lead to a wide regional war in Gaza, Lebanon and Syria. If appropriately directed major combat will last no more then 10-12 days, although a counter insurgency campaign would continue for many weeks thereafter. The capability of the US is generally vastly over estimated. For examplr the USAF can sustain only 1.5 B-2 sorties a day vs Iran. Other heavy bombers could not be used until Iranian air defences were first neutralized. Similarly, Israeli capability is vastly underestimated. Israel almost certainly has air delivered TBMs with far greater penetrator capability then anything in the US arsennal.
